We love Camp Bow Wow and our girl does too! The facility is always clean and everyone we have encountered has been friendly. This has been her first experience being around other dogs playing (we moved from a location that had specific breed limitations) and they incorporated her wonderfully. They give her extra pets and snuggles as needed and she's always happy to see her human friends at Camp Bow Wow. They have consistently gone above and beyond in the care for Lexi. Most recently we were traveling and received a call that our pup had a cough and asked if they could take her to our vet, which of course we approved. She was quarantined and given meds... they noticed they day we picked her up (about an hour before) that she had a couple of drops of blood in her kennel and immediately called us. We took her straight in to the pet ER (holiday) and she had a MCT in her mouth that needed quick removal. They really pay attention to the pups and their needs. But what really sets Camp Bow Wow apart from other daycare facilities in my opinion is the option for live stream through their app, which allows you to check on your fur baby throughout the day, making separation anxiety a thing of the past. I also appreciate the fact that one's dog can easily be transferred to a different facility in their chain of businesses, after completing an initial interview process where they evaluate the animal to ensure all is as it should be before moving forward. I even noticed my mini golden doodle puppy snuggling up to one of the handler's at one point during the afternoon, which is shocking since she usually refers play over petting of any kind. We were heading out of town and looking for a new place to board our pup. Camp Bow Wow is nearby and so we took her in for an "interview" which every dog must do before becoming a regular camper. When all is said and done, we had a good experience. I have taken her to two other daycare/boarding facilities in Miami before and these are the things that stood out to me about Camp Bow Wow: - Cameras! I loved being able to watch her play all day. - For boarding, they allowed us to bring her bed from home, treats, toys, etc. We couldn't do this at other places. - Erika is the Camp Director and you can tell she really cares about dogs. Our dog ended up not being the greatest camper and she was very understanding and caring when explaining the tough situation. - Camp Bow Wow is definitely focused on fun and play! Our dog doesn't always do great playing, so we now know this isn't the best place for her, as they don't want to just board dogs for the sake of boarding. Due to COVID, no one is allowed inside and you call for pickup/dropoff instead. There's a video online that does a tour through the facility which made me feel at ease (coupled with the cameras, of course!). read more

This place is horrible. If you care about the health and well being of your dogs do not take them to Camp Bow Wow, Centennial. The owners care more about money than providing a safe and healthy environment for dogs. When this place opened a few blocks from my work I thought it would be a great option instead of the current doggy daycare that was a town away and an extra 40 min back and forth to work. I have two dogs, 8 and 1 year old. I don't like leaving them home when I am working. I take them to doggy daycare 3 times a week for the exercise and social interaction. They love it and both are very social dogs. So I signed up for a 20 visit package. Two weeks in my youngest came home with a horrible hacking cough. I took him to his vet and was told he had kennel cough. They said most likely got from daycare. I called Camp Bow in Centennial immediately after and told them. They proceeded to tell me they did have an outbreak and it is something they can't control it. So - bringing your dogs is at your own risk. So they knew they had kennel cough spreading through the daycare yet they are not communicating that to dog owners because they don't want to shut down to clear it out and keep dogs safe. I kept both my dogs home till the youngest was cleared by vet and we felt confident he had not passed it to our other dog. Still having several days on our package and them unwilling to refund us and them assuring us it had cleared, I decided to take them back. Everything was fine for about a month but one day when I picked them up after work my youngest had a nasty cut on his year. I asked what happen and they couldn't tell me when it happened or how he did it. They said "he cut himself somehow. It happens all the time with this breed. The skin on their ears is extremely thin." What? I have an 8 year old of the same breed and she has never accidentally gashed her own ear. So I took my youngest to the vet to ensure it didn't need stitches and I told my vet their explanation of the cut and she scoffed saying that is not accurate nor true. We both concluded they were just trying to avoid telling me another dog probably hurt my dog. Luckily the cut didn't need stitches and wasn't infected. When I did return my dogs to Camp Bow I did notify the front desk that I took my dog to the vet and was told there statements they told me were inaccurate and because they didn't know exactly how it happened I was chalking it up to something that happened while playing with another dog. The person at the front desk didn't have any record of the incident nor was involved so just shrugged it off. Later that day I got a call from them telling me my youngest that had gotten his ear cut was not wanting to play at all. He was just laying in the corner of the play area. And because he wasn't playing my older dog was staying by him and per their description she seemed "stressed". They asked that I come pick them up which I completely agreed needed to happen. When I did pick them up they seemed happy to be leaving. his really told me that previous ear incident was an altercation with another dog not a playful accident. We have not been back since and looking at similar reviews it appears I was wrong for taking them back after the kennel cough incident. I don't know if they are watching the dogs or not but the blatant lie that he hurt himself is despicable and reading these reviews makes me sad I ever exposed my sweet babies to this place. I make the drive to Heritage Pet in Parker now. Our dogs are treated so well there and always come home happy and worn out from playing all day. read more

We had our 2 dogs boarded here for 2 weeks while we were out of the country. About 5 days in, they called me to alert me that one of our dogs had some congestion and runny nose and wanted permission to take her to the vet to get checked out because they were concerned. Turns out she had pneumonia and they said vet was surprised Camp Bow Wow found it so quickly. She was immediately quarantined at Camp Bow Wow and put on meds. Camp Bow Bow emailed me photos and videos with updates while we were gone. When we returned, we took our dog back to the vet for checkup and she confirmed she was very impressed Camp Bow Wow staff caught it so early, but chest Xray confirmed it. I am very thankful to the caring staff that took care of our 2 girls while we were gone. read more

My dog was attacked while he was boarding at camp bow wow centennial. Earlier in the day, on the day he was attacked we noticed that the usually playrooms were not all open and only one playroom was open and was packed with many dogs, we could only see one person on the webcam, we don't know if this was the case when our dog was attacked but we were surprised to see how few employees seemed to be present on the camera that day. Camp bow wow called our emergency contact after failing to reach us (they knew that we were in Europe and had clear instructions to contact my sister). When we spoke with camp bow wow they said that a "few second negative interaction took place" and that our dog had one small wound on his face and required a vet. They significantly downplayed his injuries and only sent us a photo of the bite to his face. When they spoke to my sister they let her know that the other dog did not require a vet and was returned to the playroom. The vet, using the word "attack," shared that he had two large injuries to his belly/chest that camp bow wow did not inform us of. He had to be sedated, he was given stitches, and will have to be in a cone for several weeks. He is deeply traumatized, he has cried every night we've had him home. Camp Bow wow did cover the vet bill which we appreciate. When we responded to their initial email and asked if they would cover follow up care beyond the initial vet visit and asked what happened to the other dog, who we were told on our initial call did not need a vet, they refused to answer questions in writing or email or via the phone. Instead they insisted if we wanted to know anything we had to come to their facility to review the video and when we told them we were not interested in coming down there as our dog could not be left alone with the severity of his injuries, they informed us that the only way to get answers to any questions was to go to their lawyers office which they called a "neutral setting". We just wanted two simple questions answered and were not sure why lawyers were being involved. We asked multiple times to speak on the phone or via zoom so that we would not have to find someone to watch our injured dog so we could leave. All we wanted to know was if his follow up care would be covered and whether or not that dog was cited for the attack, as well as if he was allowed to continue playing in a room full of dogs. Our interactions with them have been challenging as they won't answer questions unless we leave our badly injured dog alone and go visit with their attorney. They speak to us in carefully crafted PR sentences when we ask follow up questions. We understand that animals can get injured when boarding but between the downplaying of his injuries and their bringing a lawyer in to speak with us rather than just talk to us like pet parents trying to take care of our dog that was injured in their care is what has made it so we would never recommend this facility or company.They have not been kind or helpful in response to this event. I do not recommend this place for your dog. read more

If I could give them a lower rating I would. We had a horrible experience with my 2 golden retrievers! The day started with the front staff saying "Oh I remember you guys you are pansies". Then they separated our dogs until my daughter called and asked them to put them back together in the same room. They did not, so I called and while I'm on the phone with them my daughters watches on camera 2 staff members drag my 7month old sweet golden across the yard by his collar to put him in with my other golden. The receptionist came back on and said they have been together all day. And called us liars. Horrible, shameful place!!! read more

Some background info before I start: our dog is a 2 year old super-high energy German Shepherd. He is loving and sweet, but can sometimes be a little on the crazy side. When I first enrolled Buddy with CBW, I was nervous about how he would do. The week prior, his former daycare called me out of the blue after his attending for a YEAR, and told me that his behavior was unacceptable, and that he couldn't come back. Really? After a year, you now decide to tell me? And furthermore, they wouldn't specify what his behavior had been... So I called CBW, told them about the situation with my dog, and they welcomed him with open arms. This was the best decision I've ever made. All of the staff at CBW has always been open and honest with me about my dog's behavior... which has never been a problem. They are always excited to have him there, and more telling than anything, he is always excited to go. I always make time to chat with the staff there even just 2-3 minutes when I drop him off, to check in, see how things are going, and tell them how awesome I think they are. Some of the things I love about CBW? The dogs are separated according to size, dominance-traits, and activity level. This is amazing, since some dogs, no matter how well-behaved they are at home, may act differently in the presence of other dogs they do not know well. The staff are all caring and loving with the dogs, giving each of them equal attention and LOVE! The dogs can be observed through the cameras, and they each get their own kennel with a treat at night. The prices are commensurate with other daycares in the area, and also provide discounted care packages. Oh, they also give baths too! Overall, I have zero complaints about Camp Bow Wow. Unfortunately, we are moving out of the Denver area and will be leaving CBW this summer. I cannot imagine finding a doggy daycare as supportive and fabulous as CBW Centennial. The staff presented me with a PAINTED PORTRAIT of by pup when they found out that we're moving.... that is INCREDIBLE and the portrait is now in a frame!!! Nobody should pay for this. They ignored me dog and despite a grassy area, for two hours every time he ran outside he was forced back to the over-stocked concrete room. They refused to let me see the rooms for myself in person. My dog kept disappearing in small camera blind spots with the employee and walking away with an off-kiltered walk... which is abnormal for him. My dog got bit in the face twice by other dogs and the staff did nothing (when I picked him up he was bleeding on his ear from teeth puncture wounds). And now, my dog who regularly visits our Vet and has been the perfect example of a healthy dog--- he has contracted kennel cough. When I showed the video footage to my vet, he said that was no condition to house dogs and considering My dogs lifestyle-- this Camp Bow Wow is responsible for my dog contracting the illness. Luckily I have the wellness plan with Our vet, so we should be able to manage his recovery--- but I am making a point of submitting this feedback in hopes of saving other caring owners and other pets... There are A LOT of dog day care programs around Colorado-- some even offering similar pricing and camera footage... Your furry family deserves better than what this company could ever offer. Since I cannot actually respond to the owners posted response I'll add here that I have photographic evidence of the treatment from the cameras available. I also have photos of the wounds clearly visible on my dog after the visit. Additionally, I didn't post my dog's name and it's not your place to do so. On that note, if you know who I am then you have my contact information and you could have contacted me directly if you felt that I was being dishonest in my review. My review is 100% honest with supporting evidence from YOUR camera footage, my dogs injuries that I photographed, and the kennel cough was confirmed by my vet to be at fault of your facility. We have been bringing our French Bulldog to this location since he was about 10 months old (he'll be 2yo in June) and have NEVER had a bad experience. Everyone that works here is extremely friendly and easy to get to know - I look forward to dropping off and picking up because of the few minutes I get to spend talking with the staff. They love our little guy and always take good care of him - many of them have started calling him by a few cute nicknames and are always happy to see him and give lots of attention and affection to him, which he can't get enough of. We have even boarded a few times when travelling, including a week-long trip overseas. Because of the phone app and in-yard cameras, we were able to check in on him periodically (from London!). We also called one morning about mid-way through our trip, just to touch base on how things were going since it was our first time boarding him for an international trip. The staff we talked to were extremely accommodating and understanding, and gave us the full rundown on how the week was going. Coming from a background in animal care, I really appreciate their concern for the health and safety of all the dogs, as well as their knowledge of basic dog behavior and social cues. Even something as simple as not having multiple dogs on leash in the waiting area at any one time - many people do not realize or understand that while their dog may get along with others when out in the yard, it may still exhibit leash aggression or stress when around other dogs on leash. Their owner and staff members are the most caring people you could hope for to look after your fur babies and the facilities truly accomodate dogs of all sizes and personalities. There are many web cams to check in on the dogs playing and there are always camp counselors keeping watch and playing with the dogs, it is awesome! Over the phone and at drop off, the staff assured me of their commitment to making my young and scared chihuahua rescue feel safe and comfortable. I even got a call after his first night of boarding to give me a positive progress report and put my mind at ease! We love Camp Bow Wow!! We have boarded our 2yo chihuahua mix rescue dog here numerous times, sometimes just for a weekend, sometimes during longer family vacations. The staff is excellent!! Someone always picks up the phone when I call. They always remember our dog, Brie, like she is a member of the family. And the cameras that you can watch on the app are awesome! My kids love spotting her on camera when we are away. When we went in for our welcome/introductory tour the first time, I was blown away by the organization, cleanliness, and friendliness of the place. The dogs are living like royalty at CBW. read more

Our dog went for the interview and after watching her on the video cam, I picked her up within two hours. She was completely bored! The indoor and outdoor play yards are small, with artificial turf, no place to run, no natural grass, no trees, nothing of nature to sniff and explore. Our dog is fun loving and good-natured and after sniffing a few dogs, she sat in the corner the entire time. None of the other dogs looked very excited about being there either, there were no toys and nothing of interest. If you really need to board your dog, find another place. We were going to use it just as a half day novelty so she could have fun playing with other dogs, but there was no way this place could provide that. Even the attendants looked bored walking around the kennels. Also, it's very crowded so your dog may be confined to a kennel for 1-2 hours so they can meet their staffing ratios. read more

I love Camp Bow Wow overall, I have been taking my dogs there for years. However, each location is different just like any other corporate company. As a former customer of this location I can honestly say that respectful treatment is not the staff's priority. I have never felt as uncomfortable and unwelcome with any other front-end staff in the 3 other Camp Bow Wow's that I have been to! One example of this is, as a paying customer I was told to step aside until the other customers were taken care of, 20 minutes later the associate couldn't even give me the time of the day to answer why she had me wait. I refuse to take my dog to a place where staff can't treat customers with the same respect and patience that I would want for my fur baby. read more
