It's located in the Pine Barrens, a roughly one million acre forest stretching across the southern portion of the state. There's a lot of history and natural beauty in the Pine Barrens. Tons of ponds and lakes and sandy trails to get lost on whether on foot or on bike or ATV. My son and I occasionally camp at Goshen Pond. It's a very primitive campground with nothing but a pit toilet and a hand pump for water in terms of amenities. Each campsite has a fire ring with cooking grate. Campsite #3 is nice as it's on the edge and somewhat secluded from the rest of the campground, but #13 and #14 are probably the best in terms of proximity to and view of the pond. We normally camp in the spring or fall. Would not recommend the summer as ticks and chiggers can be out of control.

A hit with the kids! Diggerland is the perfect place for…read moreyoung kids. The park is just big enough to keep them entertained, but not big enough to have them overwhelmed. Pretty decent price for entry as well! The food was definitely better than average amusement park food! I would recommend doing the wet rides early in the morning and opting for the dry rides on your way out.

It was thanks to Tiktok that I learned about this place! I was scrolling the app like usual, when I…read morecame across the park's official website, and thought, "This is perfect for my nephew!" He's a child who loves anything involving vehicles. This is the only Diggerland in the United States, so it's really rare, and therefore a special treat to give to my nephew who could enjoy a unique experience at a park catered to his interests. On March 29th, 2025, I went with him and my mother to Diggerland; the Spring day pass tickets costed $137.97 for three people, and that did not include the water park since it is closed until the summer season. We arrived at 12pm and left around 4pm, and during the entirety of our visit, I never felt like it got super crowded. The park has several rides that accommodate large groups, so it makes the lines very short. Even if it looks long at first, give it a couple minutes and soon enough, you will be seated with the other 13 people waiting in line with you. Majority of rides involve sitting in a construction vehicle, being either driven or lifted in the air, which is as mild of fun as it gets. There is also an arcade, but I recommend avoiding that if you want to save money. This park is fitting for families with small children, the elderly, or those who have a low tolerance for extreme thrills. For me, I could've used some more excitement. My 5-year old nephew, who's not a big risk taker, went on rides that as one operator put it, is so boring that it, "puts kids to sleep." It's great for the views of the park, but getting your heart racing is another story. I still had fun, but more so because I liked seeing my nephew enjoy himself. His favorite quote-on-quote "ride" was the 'Hook & Ladder' where he could explore different trucks, including a firetruck and an ambulance. As for my favorite ride, it was the 'Spin Dizzy' where you're spun around in the air by a JCB. The food and drinks tasted good; I tried their chicken nuggets and fries with freshly squeezed lemonade. Careful though, the lemonade is so fresh that they put two half lemons in the drinks. I noticed this after I was caught off guard by lemon seeds being sucked through my straw. The bathrooms were clean and abundant, with wheelchair accessible ramps. The parking lot is free and has ample spaces to choose from. In order to leave the park, you must exit through their gift shop, which is as blatant of a tourist trap as I've ever seen. However, if you wish to re-enter the park, you can do so by getting your hand stamped by an employee before exiting the gift shop. Then you'll show that stamp at the entrance; this is helpful in cases like ours where we wanted to save the food we bought for later and left it in the car so it wouldn't be a hindrance when we got on rides. So would I recommend this place? Yes, but for specific groups of people. As said earlier, this would bring the most joy to those with small children who are experiencing rides for the first time, older people that don't want to be tossed around like they would on a roller coaster, and people in general who would rather embrace the gentle breeze of the air rather than it getting whipped in their face. As a young adult who enjoys coasters, I felt unfulfilled in my quest for excitement, but if this visit brought a smile to my nephew's face, then the experience was worth it.

You'll leave feeling like you might have caught the oochie goomies! This place was so filthy that as soon as my 7 yr old walked into the bathroom she stopped, looked at the floor and looked back at me like "please don't make me go in there mommy." The entire bathroom floor was murky water/bodily fluids/soggy toilet tissue. Absolutely disgusting!! I wish I could have taken a picture of the floor so you guys could see it but I was so disgusted I just walked out. We got discounted tix through Groupons to visit and was really looking forward to it as this was our first visit and might end up being our last because of the lack of cleanliness. The ONLY reason I'm giving this place 2 star is because the kids had fun on the water rides and activities. We stayed because the kids had fun. Way too many people come here with their kids for it to be this nasty. The staff isn't friendly either. They act like they don't want to be there (I can't say I blame them). The person at the counter appeared annoyed at the fact that I was using vouchers from Groupons and pointblank told me "I hate those things." Again, this was my family's first visit and first impressions are everything. This place gets overcrowded real quick and although their are chairs throughout the facility you might have trouble finding a place to sit or place your belongings. You can rent a locker for $20 a pop with in/out access to it for the duration of your visit. If I were forced to visit again I would enter with as minimal as possible to avoid needing to use a locker. I felt so yucky I didn't want any of my clean belongings touching anything in this place. My husband and I took turns with getting in the water with the kids so one of us could hold on to personal belongings like cell phones/wallets etc. The facility has a snack counter with items like pretzels, chips, funnel cake etc. The food counter is in a separate part of the facility and caters to the SAD diet (Standard American Diet)..processed foods, refined carbs and sugar...pizza, chicken tenders, burgers, hot dogs, fries, those sorts of "foods". I made sure I ate before I went. This place has so much potential with the right management and staff. This was a huge disappointment.

With scenic walking trails, an outdoor classroom, day camps and a small indoor animal habitat, Briar Bush is a great spot for small children, couples on a date, or anyone looking for a brief respite from the urgency of the modern world. With free admission for locals and a small fee for out-of-towners, the preserve is accessible to all patrons provided that they are able to walk down some wooded trails that circle through the admittedly short walking routes. The centerpiece of the trails is a picturesque, secluded pond with benches for sitting and an interactive sign with information on the local fauna and flora. The indoor animal habitat has a small gift shop, pamphlets on upcoming events and information on other parks in the area, and several interesting animals such as a blind possum named Odin, a bearded lizard named Karl, and several other unique turtles and reptiles. All of Briar Bush can be walked through in an hour or so, but the low admission, interactive nature events and scenic walking trails will have you wanting to return again soon.

Her current instructor is beyond amazing though. Our biggest problem with Bear Paddle is the facility. It feels disgusting. I understand the locker room will be wet, but the floor always looks dirty too, and it doesn't feel just wet, but slimy. It smells like strongly of urine half the time, and sometimes feces. Which leads me to believe they don't clean well enough and they likely need their drains cleaned. The floors in the changing rooms have gunk buildup. The walls are filthy. They need a professional cleaning service to clean multiple times a week, the floors need an acid wash and to be disinfected everyday. The walls need to be cleaned. I don't want to sound harsh or nit picky, I just don't think it's asking too much for cleanliness to be a high priority in a facility where kids and families change and expose their bodies to water, floors, benches, etc. Particularly for what they charge, considering they don't offer more flexible payment setup options. I don't want to keep my bank info on file, and the fees for cards are obnoxious---the tuition never seems to stay the same month over month either. Again, really do love most of the staff and instructors--and I love how far our kids have come by going here. But I'm to the point where we are probably going to have to switch schools, because I can't risk my young ones by exposing them to whatever is going on with that locker room.

Nothing notable to report but not overwhelmingly great either. The last time I went with the Boy Scouts was one of the worst weekends of my life. There was some river guide who named himself "zombie". He has the worst chip on this shoulder ever. First, he got nearly naked on the bus clearly wanting to show off all his tattoos. Inappropriate in front of a bunch of kids. If he was discreet then fine. He was showboating and it was gross. Then while on the river, I splashed with a paddle. It is indeed against the rules and I was wrong for that. However I knew I messed up the second I did it. A reminder would have been sufficient. Oh no. Zombie came over immediately and berated me loudly in front of everyone (including the kids). Yikes. I said "understood, I'm sorry". He then continued saying he was "gonna hike me out of 'his' trip" if he saw it again. What? He was going to evict me from the boat in the middle of nowhere and walk me home? Alone? What the hell is wrong with this guy? I don't care how capable or good of a river guide he is. If he's going to talk to customers who paid for the trip like garbage, then he doesn't belong there (especially around kids). Major jerk. Then we camped there overnight. Some camp site decided to have a rager party. Like thumping music turned up to full volume that could be heard for miles. No one came to quiet them down. At midnight I had to walk over myself and ask if they could please let us sleep. They said no and it kept going. I called the campsite phone # and got a voicemail. No one was there to help. Needless to say we didn't sleep at all. Just a generally unpleasant experience. You need to get rid of this zombie person. You can't call yourself "zombie" then demand to be taken seriously. Give me a break. You need someone who can patrol the campsite and keep order and the campers safe. Don't go here and waste your money.
