I am so happy they were able to stay open through pandemic closures! First the coaches are wonderful. They are kind and welcoming to my child, they know her well and greet her warmly. The coaches are skilled at teaching young people gymnastics, and help the kids have fun and learn. The facility is really fun for kids. They have a good variety of activities and keep the class sizes appropriately sized for the facility. My child loves the trapeze and trampoline best. She works hard each week to improve, and she is inspired by her coaches. Birthday parties at Jungle Gym are popular with my child and her friends. Get the bouncy house! The zip line is also a special treat. The owner is responsive to my questions and communicates important info with flyers in the space and emails about holiday schedules, billing, and special programs like camps and parents' night out. They also use a scheduling app that's pretty simple. Thank you Jungle Gym! You have been good to our family and we are glad you're here! Burien loves you!

There were parts of the play areas that could have been vacuumed, dusted and better organized. Some things seemed haphazardly placed especially for a birthday party. Most employees seemed to be in their teens or early 20s. Friendly but just lacking in experience/customer service. Most of these Yelp pictures seem to be of the previous location, NOT the current location which definitely does not look as nice.

It's very hard for working parents as I'm also returning to work soon But holy moly I am beyond impressed! Ms. Nikki is AMAZING! So is Ms, Ashley and Ms. Brenda! Everyone is so nice and has so much experience! They do so many activities such as sensory activities (playing with jello), painting with hands and feet, looking at mirrors, reading books together, looking at lights and different shapes and lines, tummy time, etc! My little one is only three months old and he's already done all of these activities! And at three months he's already flipping! Not sure if all these activities triggered his early milestone or if it's because he's a pandemic baby and they're built different but he's flipping everywhere from left to right at three months and is already trying to crawl! Highly recommend this place. All staff wear masks and they sanitize the whole area everyday and wash blankets weekly. Of course swaddling is not allowed due to SID and also it goes against their licensing but my baby went from 10-30 min naps to 1 hour naps and got on a schedule which made my life a lot easier!

The caregivers here are some of the nicest and most caring people we have ever met. Our kids became very close with the staff and other kids here and we are really sad to be moving on. It's a safe, positive and caring environment. If you are considering a daycare/preschool, you will be well served at GTLC. I feel our kids are better off socially and emotionally after attending here. This place does a great job in developing kids for the future. Thanks to all of the teachers and to Ms. Stacy, the owner. We wish you all the best!

I love that they only take 4 babies at a time and have lots of toys and books for the babies to play with. I don't know about the other rooms since I had to discontinue my son's care there when he turned 1 due to a change in our work schedules, but I would definitely recommend the infant room. If we ever need full time care again I will look into using this daycare center. The other benefit is that they are very affordable if you are a cash paying parent. The office staff is also very friendly and I really did like the director, whom I believe is Jessica? The ONLY reason I give 4 stars is because if the normal infant room teachers are out (which rarely happens.) They have to use subs - which they could use a little bit more training I feel. Most times the subs were awesome though. Its just hard leaving your child with someone new and who doesnt know them well.

This place has gone from great to disgusting and unsafe over the past couple of years. Management…read morehas turned over a couple of times since then and teacher staff is now a revolving door. We just pulled our daughter out of there because they aren't even pretending to apply a curriculum for pre-k. They're babysitters, now, and not even very good ones at that. Most recently, we found soiled clothing stuffed into her backpack with her other clothing, sheet, and blanket. Not in a bag, just right into her backpack which now is soaked with urine. My four-year-old doesn't often have accidents, but good lord, what lazy, thoughtless person thought this was ok? During the pandemic, staff was supposed to be masked. Almost daily, either on dropoff or pickup, there were staff seen in classrooms or in the office (the part parents and kids walk though) either completely without a mask or the mask pulled down. Every time I brought it up, I was told that they'd "mention it in a staff meeting" or confirm that yes, it is their policy for staff to mask up. Regardless of your views on masking, the fact that they just didn't enforce their own policies that are supposed to be in place for safety, is unacceptable. The owner, Tom, also spread misinformation during the pandemic regarding masks and other preventive measures via signage posted at the center and at the summer camp location. This place started going down hill quickly when the director (a couple of directors ago, I think) left. Andrea was the last good one, but it was clear that she was being hamstrung from actually doing anything good there. I know it's tough finding a child care center these days, but please, if you have the option, look elsewhere. I'm sure there are other places just as bad or worse, but I no longer trust this place to keep my child safe and certainly not to prepare her for kindergarten. The dozen or teachers who have cycled through that room in the past few months have been uninterested in getting to know the kids, have completely ignored kids who clearly needed attention, were downright mean to kids (witnessed during dropoff on numerous occasions). If you can help it, please trust your children to another center. Also, the five star review that this is updating was written with the promise of a starbucks giftcard. I'm not sure how many other positive reviews are genuine.

All of the staff you can tell love what they do and are happy to be there! Every time we walk the halls they greet you no matter who it is. Our son has built incredible relationships with their teachers and staff. Norma and Sara are fantastic to work with and they truly take care of you! We tried another daycare and it did not go well. They accepted us back with open arms and took great care of us! This is seriously a special place and not a lot of schools like it! Cannot rave enough about it. We will be putting our 2nd child in here in a few years! Shout out to all of his awesome teachers too! Our son absolutely loved Miss Elise, Miss Catherine, & Miss Brynn! Seriously cannot recommend this place enough. Price-wise it is comparable to other schools, all are pretty expensive. But we tried a cheaper one and it did not go well. It is worth it for our son's safety and happiness here! If you're considering putting your child in this school, do it! We are beyond happy and so grateful for this place.

I am a single mom and these teachers/childcare providers are an extended part of my family. 1) I LOVE that BH has an app and that I can be alerted when things are happening (Did she eat enough today? Did she sleep long enough? How is her potty training going? What are they up to today, ah, here is a picture!) 2) there is accountability with everything! She got hit by someone or she hit someone else? An accident report is filled out, and/or you are notified if there is a bigger issue. 3)The teachers are very approachable and WANT you to work with them in helping with your child. You don't just walk in and walk out without discussing the day. (Doesn't make sense if there are rules in one place and not the other...) there is a consistency and fluidity...potty training has been a snap with the positive reinforcement she receives at "school". 4) she is excelling quite beyonce her years and is learning SO MUCH about being social, sharing, being polite, etc. My Father was so impressed with the place he wanted to buy stock in it...too bad they are not publicly traded. My final thought on this place is that they focus on the WHOLE child, and not ignoring them and their play. There is no TV watching! There is Music, creative and structured play, art and sensory projects...all of this will lead up to my daughter being MORE than ready for Kindergarten, when the time comes.
