My kids have attended Dizzybus, one still currently enrolled. The preschool teachers are wonderful. The smaller class sizes make it an ideal environment for learning. My eldest child learned so much before heading to kindergarten (was well prepared and knew most of the content). My current child in the preschool program is doing well. Their summer program is also great since they accommodate school some school age children as well for their summer camp. Had fun crafts, activities, and themes. read more

Both of my kids attended Dizzybus, and we truly couldn't have chosen a better learning environment for them to thrive in. They were excited to go to class every single day, which says so much about the school and the staff. When our kids started Kindergarten they were very well prepared, academically and socially. We were also somewhat new to the area when our kids started attending, and since it's not a huge school, it also created a really nice sense of community for us. The staff here is FANTASTIC! We went to a birthday party last summer and got on their mailing list- when the invite came for a "Winter Celebration" day camp for my 3.5 yo daughter over a 10 day break, we said 'Heck Yes!" We arrived, signed in and she was off playing with only a bit of hesitation and I felt totally safe leaving my daughter with the friendly staff. We picked her up and she said she had 'the best time ever' and wanted to go back again every day. We'll be back! Update: 3/20/2010 We had my daughter's birthday party here- 12 preschoolers and as many parents joined us for an hour and a half for their 'Yellow Light' party package and it was FANTASTIC. The staff were so competent that I didn't have to lift a finger, we arrived 15 min before the party as requested and in just 10 minutes, they wisked the table full of the goodies, had the pinata hung up, the cake displayed and the whole place was perfect. The kids wandered in and each of them were greeted warmly and everyone was able to join the fun in progress. The staff were super with each and every kid, and based on the smiles and giggles, this was the best party ever. The staff had structured activities interlaced with free play and an easy transition to cake time, pinata and then goodbye. Before I could blink, they were loading my car with the cake and gifts and we were on our way home. Best party experience I can even imagine. SO EASY! read more

Another fan of Dizzy's! We are semi-regulars with a 2 1/2 and 6 yr old going there (1 - 2 times/mo) and this is the only place the kids have been disappointed to leave! There are daily drop-off hours as well as a monthly "Kids Night Out" and summer and holiday Camps for the kids. The staff is friendly and gets to know the kids quickly. They also don't mind at all if you want to come and play/stay with your kids there during the drop-off times. I did that the first time or two so I could get to know everyone and see how things run and it was very reassuring. Although the facility is not huge (it's large, but not huge), I really like how they use all the different areas and they also let the kids go out on the bus to play. There are often interesting options for the kids too - for example during the holidays there were times that you could stop by with the kids to decorate different items (popcorn bowl, etc.) to give as holiday gifts. The prices were reasonable and I appreciated the option! Overall, nice facility, great staff and my kids like it so we are happy! read more

We LOVE Dizzy's. We went for the first time for 'open play' which is when a parent stays to supervise. We were welcomed, given a tour, it was explained how everything worked (my son could join in with the preschool kids or play on his own) and so on. The lovely teachers introduced my son and I to preschool kids and parents on their way in and out - it was very welcoming. The teachers were very hands on, had wonderful control over all of the kids (including handling a drop off meltdown with tons of sensitivity) and managed that challenging balance of sweet and friendly with firm. The kids just seemed to adore all of the teachers that I saw. My son now goes there for preschool and adores it. Tons of crafts, endless fun...he never wants to leave, much to the entertainment of everyone else! We've also done day camp (with both my 3 year old son and 6 year old daughter) and both loved that, too. In addition to those options, they offer drop off care anytime and Kid's Night Out every few weeks (which is a super fun night out for kid's instead of getting a babysitter - just be sure to leave them long enough to stay for the Talent Show or they'll never forgive you)! :) No, the location isn't super easy to find (which they stress on their website, along with detailed directions with which we actually had no trouble) but the trade off is that there is absolutely no through traffic. The outdoor play areas are great - kids don't care if they're awesome play area (all gated) is on the edge of a parking lot - as long as it has tons of fun toys and and they do. The main door is fenced off and gated, as well. Once inside, there is yet another gate between the front door and the play spaces. So, very nice and safe! Additionally, these people have a crazy good memory for names and faces, so they know everyone who comes in after their first visit which just adds to that safe feeling. We're so thrilled to have found Dizzy's - it's scary leaving your child somewhere and so rare to find somewhere you feel so confident in so quickly. read more

We love Dizzy's. I've taken my twin boys there for open play (where parent stays) several times, and last week I just left them for their first drop-and-go time. The fantastic thing about Dizzy's is that you can leave 2-year-olds for Drop-and-Go. Everywhere else I've seen the kids have to be potty-trained to leave them. Not Dizzy's! They don't mind the diaper change part of it and it gave me two lovely hours to run errands sans kids. My boys love to be at Dizzy's and everyone there is so friendly and so good with the kids. Dizzy's is AWESOME! James and Sophia totally rocked my 7 year old daughter's Birthday party. They were engaging, kept all the kids involved and mostly made sure that everyone had a great time! Even the parents had a great time...how awesome is it to shuffle your kids out the door for an hour while they are entertained by professionals, allowing the parents to chill out and relax for a minute in between all the mayhem! The staff here is very nice and responsive. The selection of toys is great, too. Our 3 kids ages 5, 2 1/2 and 20 months enjoyed themselves. My only hesitation is that it is not conveniently located; if you aren't familiar with that specific area, it seems out of the way. My 5 year-old wanted to jump on the bus but it was very hot inside and didn't smell very good so she chose not to. The outdoor area was tiny it seemed and not overly inviting as it's located in the parking lot. BUT it is safe and the kids liked being outside so perhaps I'm overly critical as a grown-up. A friend gave me a coupon to visit here through living social. I'd like to try it again but only if I happen to be near Belleve College! read more

Both my children went here. First my daughter followed two years later by my son. We have had such a great experience here. You can tell the teachers love to work with kids and still love to teach even after years of doing so. Both my kids quickly picked up reading and writing noticeably after a few months. The small class sizes allow more time with teachers. After graduating they are ahead of where they need to be to start kindergarten. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming. I found myself needing a new location for my son's 3rd birthday party, with only two weeks notice. I found Dizzy's in an online search. They had an opening and I booked it. Gigi has great communication and follow up, and the three employees we met (on tour and the actual party,) were all great! My son really warmed up and enjoyed them. Party went off without a hitch just as promised. My son, and a lot of his friends, all have not stopped talking about how much fun they had! My daughter went to dizzy's tumblebus for three years. This pre-school may not have the best facility compared to others in Bellevue but the teachers are so wonderful and caring. They are personable with each child and are always telling parents funny stories about each kid during pick-up time. Aside from her friends, I know the teachers were a big reason why my daughter was excited to go to school every morning. Not only was the environment great but we were also very impressed with their pre-k program. My daughter is better prepared for Kindergarten than my son who went through a Montessori program. My both kids Connor and Kaia went to Dizzy's for several years. Every class was great! The teachers are very good, caring and energetic. I can not stress enough how great they are scholastic wise with great personalities. Kids LOVED them! The pre kindergarten red class is as good as it gets-my son made tremendous progress and was a student of the semester in real kindergarten-the class was very similar to kindergarten setting with LOTS of fun for kids. The owner Dizzy and GG her sister are awesome. Very flexible and helping. Everyone has so much energy and smile all the time. This is the model preschool and I would sent my kids there over and over again. I would like to thank each and every one of the members of the stuff for being just AWESOME! read more

We attended a birthday party on the Dizzy Tumble Bus and it was interesting to say the least. Not at all like the photos on this site. Only the mats, Jerry -rigged monkey bars and the little trampoline. The two guys running the party were pretty immature and you could tell did not had a solid plan. I was on and off the bus watching. At one point they stopped all the kids and were threatening time out if they didn't listen. I almost laughed out loud. They basically just had music playing and a whole group of energetic kids and with no routine, thus no control. This experience was a complete contrast to Coach Tom's Tumble bus. Wasn't overly impressed. .We did parent supervised play. There were classes going on as well, and it was difficult to figure out where and when my child could participate. When he saw activities that the class was doing, he wanted to join in. Things that should be placed in a cabinet further out of reach & sight were too visible and another point of frustration. Perhaps we would have enjoyed it more if there wasn't so much crammed into this small space. Great concept, staff seems friendly and likeable. I would not leave my child here, seemed like kids were all over the place mixed in with drop-ins and there is no child proof lock on the door that I found. Also, no latched gate that goes from outdoor play area to parking lot. Saw adults (presumably parents without kids) wonder in and out several times. read more

Dizzy and her teachers are so passionate about their school and kids here. My two kids attended their winter camp and Blue class and I couldn't believe how happy my kids were everyday dropping them off and picking them up. When picking them up, it was like pulling teeth trying to get them to leave. They just wanted to stay and continue to "play". I particularly liked one of their teachers Ms.Hawa. She and Timmy had their own little Mr.Timmy and Ms.Hawa thing going on. It was very cute! read more

This place is pretty cool. I took my boys there (ages 6 and 2) a couple weeks back when I was climbing the walls to get out and get me a mani/pedi. It's in a suprising location in Bellevue, but certainly not bad. It's excellent. Kinda tucked away behind a restaurant. My kids walked in and got these big goofy grins on their faces. I left quite assured they would be having a good time. There were several kids there as well, so they had many playmates, and lots of staff interacting with the kiddos. They are casual and reasonably priced with lots of activites to keep the kids busy. I picked my boys up and now I hear several times a week "mommy when are we going back to the bus?". Well Dizzy's...you do well with my kids, you are Grade A in this mama's book. Well done! read more

As a mother of three boys I can say I had my share preschool experiences between three different states that we lived in. Dizzy's is by far the best preschool hands down!!! From the moment I met her and the staff, they were welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is fun and educational which is what I was looking for in a preschool. The preschool program is wonderful as well as the enrichment classes they offer. My son was comfortable right from the start and always looked forward to being there. They are very accommodating when I'm running late for pick up and I know he is safe and well taken care of. I cannot stress how wonderful the staff is, they truly give the children their undivided attention and are very caring. I see it when I come to pick him up. I always hear the funny things he did that day or had said. My child comes home and tells me all about it everyday! Love hearing his stories! I absolutely recommend this preschool for anyone who is looking for a fun,family oriented and safe environment for their children. My little man has grown so much since he started here. He LOVES it here! Not only has his handwriting improved (thanks to Ms. Diane) he has a good attitude about school! This will be easy for him to transition to kindergarten in the fall! My daughter has been attending Dizzy's for 2 years. Last year, we transitioned from the Kindering SN preschool program mid-year, and the 2-3 yo class was full, so my daughter attended the Blue 2-5 yo program upstairs. I loved the flexibility for me with relaxed times (up to 4 hrs), the wonderful teachers, the warm interactions with Gigi and the office staff, and the well-designed and well-utilized play area. This year we enrolled the Yellow class, 3-4 yos. My daughter needs constant physical activity to keep her muscles strong, and Dizzy's is perfect for her. Not only is she growing "academically" with interesting art projects involving letters, numbers, basic science concepts, and special books, she is also a little ball of muscle due to daily Tumblebus, tumble room or outside playground action. Her teachers, Miss Alyssa and Miss Julie, are patient, enthusiastic, and kind. Of course, they are also well-trained and professional, with quiet control over the classroom. The students mostly treat each other with kindness. There tend to be more boys than girls, maybe due to the physical activity. Parents know their kids will be well-exercised at Dizzy's. Remember parents, girls need exercise, too! At first I found the downstairs area to be full of small rooms and crowded. But after a half year of school, I realize the space is maybe small, but it's also just what is needed. I love the bright colors (but not garish) and lovely paintings. And of course all the kid art. We are so happy with Dizzy's. We're very lucky a friend told us about this great school - both her girls went here. It would have been easy to overlook a great school because of the odd location. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. My girls have literally grown up at Dizzy's Tumblebus. The staff is outgoing, friendly, caring and helpful. They not only engage your child in play, but they can tailor the play to help your child grow and learn in a safe environment. As far as I am concerned, the fact that they are not in a brand new building has nothing to do with how you care for my child. This is the best preschool I have ever seen. This summer I planned my son's 3rd bday party at the Bus Stop and I have to say I couldn't have been more pleased. The staff are WONDERFUL. Every time I called, they were so friendly and answered any question I had about the venue. I had never been there before so I stopped by once at the end of the day and they were happy to show me around. We got the yellow light package with pizza, balloons and goodie bags and they made the entire process easy. The staff on the day of the party were great with the kids and tried so hard to lead them in some fun guided song activities but it was like herding cats and just so funny to watch. The staff guided us for the best time to stop for pizza, then a little more play time out on the Tumblebus before the party ended. The kids had a great time and I think all the adults had just as much fun seeing the kids enjoying themselves so much. I would recommend them to anyone and definitely consider doing it again next year. read more

I hired Dizzy's for my daughter's 3rd birthday party yesterday and I have to say, this was the best money I've ever spent on my kids' birthday parties. The tumblebus arrived on time and full of energetic staff. We had a range of ages, 2.5-7 and all of the kids were entertained, excited and fully exhausted by the hour end. Kids were happily yelling out the window what fun they were having, and my daughter was just in heaven during the whole party. Dizzy's is amazing! My two boys have participated in the preschool program, drop-in preschool, and kids-night-out programs for nearly three years total. Miss Dizzy has done an amazing job of developing the business over the years, including improving the site (which admittedly is a bit odd, but don't let it discourage you) and growing their preschool program which now takes up the entire downstairs area. The staff are incredible- loving and patient - and they work hard to keep kids safe while allowing them room to learn and grow. I know Dizzy's cares about the quality of the staff because they've made changes when they've realized a teacher didn't quite fit in with their vision for the business. There's a definite family feel, and I for one appreciate that. I love that the same place my boys go to preschool (not full-time) can also be used for drop-in care when I need to go to an appointment or just need time to grocery shop without craziness. My kids know and like all of the teachers, upstairs and downstairs. The only hard part is getting them packed up to go- they never want to leave! read more

I don't intended to 'flame' this company but I certainly will never do any business with them again and if I could give less than 1 star I certainly would. Dizzy's Tumblebus visits schools and offers a service where you can sign your kids up to have fun once a week. Almost a full year back I signed up my pre-preschool aged child to try it out for one month. I made it clear when I signed her up on the form and confirmed there would not be an issue prior to going for the one and only one month. As it turns out my child didn't seem that into it and so we did not sign up again after the month. At some point in the summer my child came home with a stamp on her hand from the Tumblebus, talked with the teacher at my child's school and I called the company and left a message to ensure that they understood she was not signed up. I never heard back from them and didn't think of it until our family returned in December from a vacation to a voicemail from the company advising us of a past due balance on our account. Needless to say this was very confusing and frustrating. Today when I dropped my child off at school I made sure that the teacher knew that my child was not signed up for the Tumblebus any longer and I didn't want her to go on the bus if they asked for her. When the staff from the Dizzy Tumblebus arrived they asked for my child and my child's teacher informed them that she was no longer signed up for the service. The staff from the bus advised the teacher that I had to call the office to stop the service and TOOK HER FROM HER CLASS ANYWAY. Needless to say I am still LIVID. I called Dizzy's Tumblebus and talked to a very understanding, helpful and reasonable person who reviewed the records on file and found that yes I had only signed up for a month, the attendance sheet shows my child going on the bus frequently for the last few months and that my account balance didn't match either the attendance or the month of service that I had pre-paid for. The staff member is going to have to follow up with me tomorrow after more research as to what is going on. What a nightmare. Regardless of what happens with the billing aspect of this mess I can't believe that this company's staff would ignore the wishes of a parent and the communication from the child's teacher. read more

I have been to many child-friendly places in the area as I nanny for a small child. I saw Dizzy's on "Red Tricycle" which I thought would be a good indication of the quality of the establishment. I found bought a Living Social deal for two passes to check it out! What I witnessed was slightly disturbing to me. The place reminded me of a run-down home daycare. It was filthy and not well maintained, they also allowed you to wear shoes inside which doesn't seem right when you know you'll have small children who crawl on the floors and put things off the floor into/near their mouths. So I was pretty bummed about the condition of the place in general, but I was not even prepared for what happened next. A child of maybe four years, who was attending the preschool part of Dizzy's, was screaming his head off and the child was ripped up off the floor (too roughly) in my opinion and put in the corner to cool off. In which another employee spoke up saying: "There are parents checking in at the desk" with a shake of the head, so the previous employee then tried to calm the child down with kind words and hushing. This in my opinion was SO WRONG. You should not be changing how you deal with a situation based on who is around. I will not go back to Dizzy's in fact I have another play pass that was thrown in the trash, this mistreatment happened while parents were checking in, I can't imagine what goes on when there are no parents present. So I conclude Dizzy's is Dirty and Dis-functional. read more

I brought two four year olds and a five year old to free play today. It was AWESOME! It doesn't look like it would be as fun as it is - all three kids had a ball. The people working were very friendly, even when the kids went where they weren't supposed to go. :-) The kids ran around on the equipment inside and bounced forever on the big trampoline. They got to play with a collection of dollhouses and some crazy play dough type foam. They went out in the bus and did the zipline for as long as I could stand to watch them in the cold. I literally had to drag them out - we will be back! What a great activity for a rainy day. There was the drop-off program going on, but my kids just enjoyed playing with the other kds. For a small space, it sure is set up nicely. Great place!!! Update- I have been bringing my kids, age 6.5 and 5 to Dizzy's day camp during school breaks and summer. They both LOVE it. I keep asking my son if he feels like he is too old, but he says no and always has a great time. The staff is super nice about squeezing kids in, and they are so sweet to the children. My boys love this place. They never want to leave when I come to pick them up. The staff are very friendly and seem to truly enjoy the kids. The "Kids night Out" is a life saver. It's the only way my husband can take a few hours out for a date night. They do great activities like flashlight treasure hunts. It's very affordable. The only thing I would say is problematic is lack of a locked in fence or something between the tiny outdoor play area and the parking lot. The drop in day care is a life saver for parents who need a couple of hours for medical appointments or who just want to a quiet lunch while their kids play. read more

Dizzy's is a very special place and our family feels very blessed to be able to send our 2 1/2 year old daughter to Preschool there 5 days a week and for 2 1/2 hours every afternoon. Sofie has many adult friends she can trust at Dizzy's and that is of utmost importance to us. Miss Crystal and Miss Louise are her teachers and they are so wonderful, nurturing and incredibly patient:-) I love hearing my little one describe her day from the color of the month (right now it is orange) to their favorite circle time song. She is now starting to recognize letters, can count to 20, is also displaying progress interacting socially with peers (sharing, communicating, etc). Equally important, she has physically become stronger, better balanced and able to jump, swing and climb. This physical growth is just as important to the development of a child as the mental and emotional and Dizzy's tumblebus, tumbleroom and other play areas has introduced a plethora of activities that Sofie hasn't experienced anywhere else. Had my son's 1st birthday party here yesterday and it was fantastic! Every single employee I came in contact with was unbelievably helpful and pleasant. I had asked for a little bit of a special set up because most of the kids coming to his party were young toddlers and with it being November, I asked to have a couple pieces of tumbling equipment inside the bus stop so that the kids didn't have to go out to the bus if it was too cold. They were so nice about everything and extremely helpful with set up on the day of. All the kids that came had a blast. They were all ages ranging from 3 months old to 10 yrs old. They also provided paper plates and plasticware, which is convenient. I do however wish I wouldn't have skimped on this portion of the party, because the quality of their paper plates was very poor and it would not have been an expensive addition to throw in. The only other thing I didn't like was the location, my first impression when I went to see it the first time was that it looks a little sketch from the outside, but the inside totally makes up for it. It really is a perfect place for kids to run around and get their energy out. read more
