There is always sand in the indoor pool. Also, there are constantly women who get in the jacuzzi with only a towel on and it is so unsanitary. No one enforces the swim suit covering required.

I've been a Lifetime member on and off since 2013, and consistently at this location for the past…read moretwo years. There was a time I truly looked forward to coming here, but lately, that feeling has shifted. Earlier this year (around February or March), there was an incident where a man entered the women's locker room - far enough in that it was clearly not an accident. I reported it immediately to staff, but I never received any follow-up, which felt unsettling, especially given how tucked away the women's locker room is from the men's. Additionally, the equipment at this location feels outdated compared to other clubs. There are frequent maintenance issues, and the overall layout doesn't seem optimized for peak times. If you're hoping to train legs for example between 4-7 PM Monday through Wednesday, be prepared to wait - often long - for machines or platforms etc. Interuptions during your sets are the norm. Even gyms with a significantly lower price point, like EOS and planet fitness, have more versatile equipment (e.g., a dual abductor/adductor machine), which could be a worthwhile upgrade here. Crowding has also become a major issue. Over the past couple of months, the gym has felt consistently packed regardless of the time of day. If there's a new sign-up promotion running, it may be worth re-evaluating how it's impacting existing members. It's incredibly difficult to follow a structured workout when you have to constantly rearrange your routine just to get access to equipment (if you're lucky). Parking has also become a huge deterrent and adds another layer of stress to each visit. The class schedule is not great either, as a yogi, i rarely have the opportunity to attend a class, and wish they had AM sessions available. Pickleball courts are fresh and new, but are first come first serve, and since they have been installed, have not had a chance to use them, due to strenuous wait times. Not to mention the amount of people who walk around with tripods at peak times recording, hence why i pay the fees to not be around people recording.. While I appreciate the under-26 discount, which brings the monthly cost down to around $220, I'm beginning to question whether the value is still there. I would really encourage management to consider updating equipment and rethinking capacity management - especially at peak hours. It's difficult to understand how this location is being ran when other nearby locations offer a much better experience for a similar price point. The one thing they do right is customer experience. I always enjoy getting to speak with the front desk staff and trainers. I really hope this feedback is taken into consideration for improvements, and helps out anyone who is considering spending $3000 a year to work out here.

The center isn't very busy so there is always plenty of parking. It does get a little crowded when there's a spin class going on at Revolution a few doors down. The first 3 classes are free which is wonderful because that is just the right amount of time for you to get a feel of the studio. Even though there are specific class times on the schedule, you aren't actually all working out at the same time. At first I wasn't sure if it's something I like since most of the time you start and end at the same times as others as a group. But after a few classes, I actually prefer it this way. A run through of how the session at DU Pilates work. 1. Come in and Dominic will likely direct you to a reformer of his choice. 2. He will talk with you over any concerns that you have for the day. My knee was actually bothering me last time so he scaled the workout to not put pressure on my knee. 3. He'll instruct you through the moves. If you are brand new to Pilates, he will spend more time with you. If you are more seasoned, he work with someone else while keeping an eye on your form. He will correct from across the room. 4. Once you are done, you are done since it's not timed with a class setting. There are sometimes 3-4 other people in the studio when I am there and everyone is working out at different pace and different levels. I actually like it because you go at your own pace and ability. A more advanced person wouldn't have to do the same as a less advanced and vice versa. My first two sessions, I was doing a lighter workout and by my 3rd he added more moves. I have done Pilates in the past so I feel like he is advancing me quicker. As first I was concern with the multiple different people but Dominic is very good at multitasking and helping each client. Now that I am done with my first 3 I plan to purchase a package. I can already feel the benefits of Pilates again.

After several years away from home, The Perfect Workout persisted in notifying me that I had some unused workout sessions left. They are super flexible and allowed me to renew my expired sessions. I went to the Memorial location for the first time (I used to go to the River Oaks location), and Alex was my trainer. Since it had been several years, she carved out extra time to walk me through the method again, and to ensure I had the proper weight on the machines. She was positive, motivating, and a delight to work with. Very glad that I get to come back to this 20 minute workout designed to build and maintain muscular health!

My mother & grandmother both have/had osteoporosis and I needed to prevent it from happening to me. Read about PW in a newspaper advertisement one Sunday. I called, went the next week for free session, signed up for three months and the rest is history. I have lost 20 pounds (need to lose a few more) and dropped several inches and firmed up my body. The trainers are excellent, capable, well-trained & professional and you know that any trainer at any facility can do the job. I happen to be very pleased with my current trainer, Thomas, who has been an inspiration and talks me through the burning muscles and "muscle success". We have fun but are very serious about the workouts. Look forward to every new week. Highly recommend the Perfect Workout for all ages!!! Thanks,

In other words, whether you're a beginner or you're super fit, I think it's a fantastic place to come to. I've been a competitive swimmer for about 12 years and just began triathlon. Definitely not a land person, but I'm all about challenging myself and trying something new. I used to hear from a lot of people that CrossFit wasn't good for you because people don't really care about form, so it leads to injury. It's definitely not the case here, you have coaches here who watch over you and make sure you're doing exercises properly before adding weights or furthering your progression. I've learned a lot! I was worried about coming in and being completely lost, but I had been in contact with Jason beforehand and I wasn't lost one bit in the two free sessions I came in. Right away, he was there to guide me. Jason was very patient and super encouraging! I absolutely love the atmosphere in here. There is a team sense, you just have to be willing to speak up and talk to people here. They're all super kind and supportive. I'm just sad cause I have to leave for college now, but I will FOR SURE be back here on my extended breaks!

I still love how every class is different so I never get bored and I still get surprised with new workout moves that challenges everyone. The trainers are amazing and push me to finish my sets, and to use heavier weights to challenge me. When I am at F45, you definitely feel the team training aspect, and at this location everyone is like a huge family. We train together, test our limits together, and support each other through the hard stations. *Previous Review* From the moment I signed up for a membership to attending classes, everyone was so welcoming and encouraging! I was really nervous attending classes because I am super out of shape, and have not worked out in years. I have to say, the classes are definitely challenging! However, for every work out the trainers also demonstrate a modification, which is greatly appreciated. This location is pretty clean and provides towels. I like that they also have a water fountain inside, and 2 restrooms. The app to sign up for classes is easy to use, and explains what kind of class it will be. I like that you can still cancel/change your booking for the classes the day of (unless of course the class is full or already started). F45 is definitely more laid back, if you run a few minutes late to class, you are welcomed to join in (if you did book for the class) The trainers and other members at this location are soooo down to earth and motivating! I never feel judged for struggling with the movements or not being able to finish my entire set. My first class was athletica, and I literally died in 15 minutes. Halfway through the class I went to go puke and again after class. The trainer that day encouraged me at the end of class saying "everyone has to start somewhere" while giving me a high five. Today I just finished another class and I actually was able to participate the entire time! I'm so excited to continue and hope to see results over time.
