Beautiful. It is what it says. Camping on the beach. White sand, warm water. You can see your feet. Can't wait to come back again.

This place is amazing! I needed to extend one day and called before I arrived, it was easy to get ahold of someone who made the change within seconds. The sites are all very nice and have good privacy foliage. The place is clean, very well kept. It's quiet at night. The beach is STUNNING!!! Honestly I can't think of one negative thing to say.

Beautiful beach and the water is spectacular. Yet to get into the beach the distance is sand as you would expect but it is not compact so hard to walk and pull a cart through. Nice location however it takes a lot of work to go to and from the beach. You can drive to the beach to drop off beach equipment but cannot park there. You must go back to your lot and we were in the front then walk back to the beach. Started to rent a golf cart but that was very expensive (rent from outside company not Camping on the Gulf) and of course it was not going to help. I used our Jeep to transport to and from the beach. Front row on the beach has water and electric but no sewer. So tanks have to pumped and disposed of at the dump station. Don't know if that is included or an extra charge. All in all a nice place and great location on the beach.

Great view of the maintenance garage.

Came here for a 3 night stay. Place is cramped and run down looking. Very expensive. We ended up in lot #503 about 100 ft from Hwy 98. After looking at the website the pictures lie! This place is a dump. We brought our golf cart because Miramar Beach allows golf carts on the street as long as you don't get on Hwy 98 we'll guess what this place is too far from the side streets to be able to drive around and enjoy the area but the park was sure to charge me $5 a day for bringing my cart when all we can do with it is drive around this shithole!! We'll never be back here again. It was just shy of $400 for 3 nights. We'd been better off staying at a hotel than bringing our camper. Our view is of the maintenance garage. Waste of money.

Never answer their phone held for over 30 minutes never any excuse for that. Prices are way to high$ 175 night??? For an RV??? Place needs major reorganizing it's Helter skelter all over the place vs a modern layout. Looks hap Hazzard. Won't be back there are better places. The only advantage is you can walk to the beach but then it's very crowded with all the rv ers so I went out 6 am and it was nice but $175 night nice? Noway.

Ain't cheap but worth every penny .... During these crazy COVId times we appreciate all the hard work the teams are doing to keep options open for us. We are part/ full timers ..... we work overseas for. 4-9 months a year and when in the US we live in our little 21 foot camper. We made it back from overseas after crazy flights and we are staying away from - everyone as we self distance / quarantine Living in 200 square feet is challenging so we appreciate the option to stay here - stay by ourselves but have fresh air . With federal/ state/ and most city campgrounds closed we needed a place to hang our hat and this is a gorgeous one The team here is amazing. We called ahead to make sure we didn't go into office - a team member took us to our site and we signed paperwork ( they told us to keep the pen and use for the gate code ) Bathrooms are posh and cleaned constantly - this is a really really nice RV park Laundry room spotless and reasonable We are doing our part staying solo , washing hands, sanitizer all the time but thanks to the team here we can do it with a great view To all the yelpers out there - keep trying to support local business and whenever possible - tip, tip and more tip ( I will track down our check in helper and tip him because I forgot )

Don't do it!! This place is Horrible for families! ONLY if you're an miserable individual that's mad at life and grumpy should you be here! Please do not take wonderful happy children you will ruin their outlook on life! Bob is sooo sad and so miserable that I spent the whole time trying to tell him life's not that bad! It's a horrible place, consider yourself warned if you go! Bob I wish you a better 2020, don't be so sad!! " DON'T WORRY ABOUT SWEETHEART" THATS SPLAH... lmbo

So we spent 3 weeks at this campground in a fifth wheel. I originally thought when I booked beachfront site that we would be parked right in the sand but realized upon arrival that the 700 sites are actually the second row back from the water. We had corner site 708 which is concrete. You back up to a retaining wall. Sites are very close together and they make you park your vehicle right in front of your camper so our view was of our truck for $1700. I now know that you can save if you stay a month. I was not aware of this. The pool/hot tub/laundry facilities are nice. They def keep an eye on EVERYTHING. They are constantly driving around checking peoples hookups, parking, speed, you name it. It was a little annoying. Overall our visit was fine. Beautiful beach!

DO NOT STAY HERE.... Unless you're good with front staff NEVER answering the phone (on wait for HOURS), UNKEPT sites, TRAFFIC like crazy in front of the RV camp.. as well as PACKED sites (barely any room to enjoy the area)..and much more. YES, the beach is right there but there are tons of other areas! Especially considering their huge lack of customer service. After being on hold for over 2 hours we decided to stay somewhere else *DESTIN WEST RV* which was AMAZING! Save yourself the stress so you can enjoy Destin... :).

Ok so yes every review is worth taking into consideration. There a few things going for this place. Beautiful ocean close by, bathhouses, activity center and pool slide. All the makings to make this a great place. But it seems all they depend on is the beach. The bathhouses seemed clean but stunk to high heaven, the activity center seems closed and un welcome, the pool slide is open only certain hours. As you see there are no responses to the comments on yelp which tells me they don't really care what anyone has to say. Ever heard the term crap flows downstream?...so pretty much if higher ups don't care no one down stream will. The staff are so unfriendly. The first person you see on the golf cart was a guy so militant with no personality. Why would you have him be the "greeter"?! Joann on the phone was nice which is why I booked. Cheyenne seemed new and was pretty nice but she may be on her way to learning bad customer service. They don't really answer the phones too much but did call back. The times they had the slide open the gal up top working the slide was so mean about it being the last run and that it would be closed. At night the guys came in to close down promptly at 9 as if they were taking you out in handcuffs. There were no kid activities at all. They had a little house on the beach as if they had beach chair and umbrella rentals but no one ever opened and they didn't answer the phone nor call back. Get a new vendor then. The food truck was closed on weekends...what?!!! That's when they need to be opened. Their store had no necessity supplies. Couldn't even find a bottle opener. They seem to need new management or an owner who cares anymore. This could be an amazing place but it's just ugh so so. I don't mind campers are close together. If you don't like to be close to people def do camp at campgrounds then. But this place has the guts and foundation to be so much more! Oh and laundry and jacuzzi weren't working! Would we come again? Probably only if we wanted to be on the beach . Otherwise we'd try some of the other ones that seem to be more run like resorts.

That top load to the right is the only washing machine in the facility that really works. All but 3 have "out of order" signs on them

Throughout the years I've stayed in almost every condo on the first floor, and 209 and 211 on the second floor. Every time it has been wonderful. Check in is at 4, which is kind of late. But if you show up early and your room has already been cleaned and inspected they will almost always allow you in. The front desk staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I've never had a bad experience with them. They always greet you with a smile and are super kind. Almost every condo has a king size bed, 2 bunk beds, and a pull out couch, so you can easily fit 6 comfortably. There is a full kitchen with cookware, 2 bathrooms, and one shower. From the living area there's a back porch that overlooks the gorgeous powder white sand and emerald coast. You're provided with 2 chairs and an umbrella. On the first day you go to the beach you can reserve your spot for the week so I would recommend getting to the beach early the first morning. There's also a pool and hot tub in the complex for when you need a break from the beach. One huge plus of staying here is that there is only 3 stories. The beach area behind Destin Beach Club is reserved for only residents so the beach is never overly crowded at this condo. Since you're right on scenic highway 98, you're close to everything there is to see and do in Destin. There's a plethora of restaurants, souvenir shops, and shops. You're also right next to the Destin harbor and all the new things it has to offer. Because of the great staff, amenities, view, and less crowded beach area, I would definitely recommend Destin beach club to anybody who is traveling down to Destin. Absolutely love this place, so many happy memories. Can't wait to be back!

Overall nice building and we enjoyed the gym, pickle ball and basketball court. Here are the cons: - It's odd that there were no beach chairs or toys in our condo or the office to borrow for your stay. There are chairs to rent for $55. I did see some condos had them in the garage space though. - The water in our unit tasted and smelled like chlorine - leaving three of us with upset stomachs until we could buy water. We were able to drink from the water fountain in the lobby and that water tasted good. - There were very little notes/instruction left in our condo for how to navigate this large resort. The map we got upon entry was not detailed. It was frustrating when we arrived. Where do we park? Where is the fitness center and what are the hours? How do we borrow pickle ball or basketball equipment? Where is the office? Where do we eat? Get coffee, etc? How do we use TV? - The pool is advertised as 'heated' but it was COLD. I'm thankful that the hot tub was fairly large! There were some little things the owners/management could do to make a 5-star experience. I did find out that you could go to the main office (by Ruth Chris steakhouse), and they allow you to borrow pickle ball equipment and a basketball. It would be awesome if they allowed you to checkout chairs or beach toys and bikes. It would also be nice if they sold coffee! The coffee shop next door doesn't open until 10. Overall, we had a nice week. The highlight was the view and being able to watch the sunrise and sunset from the patio.

There's two sides to Sandpiper Cove: - The gulf side has a surprising number of beach front units & Rick's Sand Trap Beach Bar & Grill. It's has a private entrance that requires a code to enter by foot or by car. - The larger area of Sandpiper Cove is just a quick walk across Gulf Shore Drive & has all the pools, tennis & pickleball courts, 9-hole golf course & putting greens as well as the restaurant (Louisiana Lagniappe). That side also has a gated entrance. Most security guards seemed friendly checking car tags & waving guests in. BEACH: The private beach access with chairs, umbrellas and a snack shack was so convenient. The chairs/umbrella perk seems to be dependent on the individual condo owners so make sure check your condo's listing to see what's included. BONUS: We spotted a pod of dolphins our first morning- there had to be at least 6-10 swimming around so close to the shore. Our particular unit seemed to be recently renovated with a nice kitchen, new & well maintained appliances, comfy beds and decent size patio which was fenced in so our dog could walk around too. We were in the larger area of SPC & only a few buildings over from the security gate so that translated to a quick a 5 min walk to the beach! The location was perfect especially when we decided last-minute to try to catch the sunrise & sunsets. PETS: Welcome in some units & the fee is very reasonable. Guests must present current shot records at the security gate when checking in. My pup was even issued her own Sandpiper Cove resort band (so cute!); the tag isintended to go on your dog's leash. Units vary by owner so it really depends on what you want & need: upstairs or downstairs, quicker access to: golf, tennis, pickleball, beach, pools, hot tubs. Keep in mind, depending on which room you get, you will hear construction late into night and starting early in morning. View was nice from porch but it is West facing so not full view of beach (as back of property rooms) This property was a drag, because it is UNDER CONSTRUCTION!! Outside pool/kids water area are closed, however you can use indoor pool, which looked dirty to me, but there was construction going on all around that one, too, so may be why it seemed that way. Handicap ramp only gets you down one flight of stairs, but you'll have two more flights if you want to go onto the beach. Gym is a complete joke, and dangerous OLD equipment makes it not worth using, so we walked and worked out in our room. There is what looks like it used to be a sauna/steam room, but you guessed it, under construction. But no worries, the elevators are also under construction so you can just ride up and down over and over and you'll get the same feel as the sauna. We brought our own umbrella and chairs and they will not allow you to set up ANY umbrellas (b/c it is hot as he** and they know you can't lay out there for long w/o one). Because of this and the construction being much worse than property let on, we won't stay here again. However, we found a wonderful state park appx 1 mile from property, Henderson State Park. The beaches are gorgeous and not blocked by the stupid commercial umbrellas. We brought our own and we had plenty of room!! Find a different property, at least until they finish updates, however, after reading reviews from 5 years ago stating property was under construction, they may never finish.
