    Bluey immersive experience
    Kate F.

Our first family visit to CAMP absolutely exceeded my expectations. Our littles are 6 and 2 and we took them to see the Bluey immersive experience. The toy store itself is a beautiful space with a variety of high end toys, small goodies, stuffed animals, a slime bar, and a craft area. They also hit birthday parties in a dedicated space. Part of the wall/bookcase in the store opens to reveal the immersive experience. The camp "counselors" did an amazing job of bringing the experience to life for the kids, making things fun and accessible, and staying in character. The way that they interact with the kids made me feel like they had some sort of early education degree or special training. They really were fabulous. The Bluey experience was so thoughtfully done with every last detail considered. Even as an adult, there was so much magic in the experience. They had secret doors, games to play, special dress ups etc that made it truly unforgettable for my kids. I will say, it's not cheap, especially on a Saturday morning. That said, I felt like we got a good value. There are "off peak" times when it's cheaper to get tickets. Overall, would absolutely recommend the CAMP experience

He personally reached out, invited us back (with additional guests too), and made every effort to ensure we had a much better experience. This visit felt completely different. Our new host was more attentive, present throughout the experience, and made us feel welcomed and ensured we were prepared. The customer service and overall atmosphere were improved and made the experience feel much more worth the investment. I truly appreciate a business that listens to feedback and takes action to make things right. That level of customer care speaks volumes, and I'm grateful they turned my experience around in such a thoughtful way.

I looked on the website and I believe you have to book online only to reserve your spot. On the website, you can decide what experience you would like to have such as their signature candle in which you make two candles, the candle of the month or a cereal bowl candle experience. I chose the signature candle which was 75.00. Once I arrived, I noticed that the shop was cute and creatively decorated. I had the pleasure of meeting my host Becky who was sooo personable and simply Ahmazing! Becky explained how candle making works and discussed the scent bar in which I could choose between earthy, fruity or exotic scents for the candles and you can also select two candle jars. I decided to get a bigger candle jar which was an extra 10.00. Overall i became a chandler and made two beeyutiful candles and Becky gave me healing crystals and the large candle jar free of charge!! I was so grateful and appreciative being as tho It took me along time to accept nice things and blessings from people, I would always block it... but that's another story! Cork and candles!!! I will defintely be back for that cereal bowl candle which is also pre made for purchasing along with other creative candles. Great for couples, girls nite out, birthdays etc!

The cooking place was pretty cool. There was flavored water to sip on while we waited for the class to start. The whole cooking experience was shared between 4 different people. The table is kind of small for us to work on especially with how many people attended the class. The kitchen had a tv to see what was going on but for some reason it wasn't facing the chef so it was pretty useless. The class has helpers to the chef which was very useful. There was someone to helped with cleaning dishes, someone to help us when we couldn't figure out what to do or if we had questions, and someone who helped create the prep of ingredients. Our teacher was nice but it felt like we rushed through cooking the dish. The important stuff was pre prepared which was kind of a bummer. Like the dough for the dumplings was kneaded already and the filling for the soup dumplings were premade. I was also kind of bummed to know that it's super hard to make the soup dumpling filling. We also made some stir-fry noodles and green beans. It was interesting to learn how green beans are prepared to be so crisp via blanching in oil.

Our chef made sure that we understood his instructions to prepare the meal. He emphasized the importance of "mise en place" which means having everything prepared in advance. Our meal was Seared Scallops with Champagne Beurre Blanc, Saffron-Scented Risotto with Peas and Prosciutto, and Chocolate Souffle with Salted Caramel Sauce. We started with making the Risotto. Each couple was matched with another couple and took turns with the preparation. There was a 10 minute break to give the class participants the time to walk around the shop. We finished the risotto and made the scallops. The souffle was the only portion of the meal that the students did not prepare. We enjoyed the experience and decided to take another class.
