We met with Weston for her assessment and during that 30 minutes we gained several valuable insights and were able to start working on a couple things. Since then, we had him out to the house for training and with his help our doggo is no longer running out the door. She is even staying in the garage with the door open. We are still working on certain distractions but it's so much better. The instructions were clear and simple. We also did a day of doggie daycare which she seemed to really enjoy and we got some cute pictures. Would definitely recommend.

They had met him many times before, they are familiar with his behavior. The day before I get back from the last stay, I hear from them that he's kinda down and probably just misses me. I come home the next day. He is a PUDDLE of dog on the ground, he can barely walk. He is so out of it, a fool could see he's extremely sick and someone that knew him well ESPECIALLY should. She's handing me his toys and I'm utterly stunned she's acting like nothing is happening. I had to get help getting him into the car because he could not get himself in due to how weak he was. Those steps to my car were the last he ever walked. I took him straight to the closest open vet hospital, a full 20 minutes away, where they had to wheel him in on a gurney, they worked on him for 20 minutes but he died on table. His stomach flipped as can happen in big dogs. My vet, who received the paperwork from the vet he died at, said if she had acted 24-48 hours before, he could have lived. A TRAINER, BOARDER, and BREEDER either grew stupid or knew he was in distress and didn't give a damn. He was 150 lbs, and the closest vet was closed because it was a Saturday, so I'm guessing they were just incredibly lazy. They had my credit card on file, and paperwork signed, in the case he needed veterinary treatment. I have spent years trying to figure out why they wouldn't do anything. I told my neighbor, who bought a dog from them, who said they also have access to mobile vets. A thousand options and not one of them was take the dog to the damn vet. Stay away from them. They used to have a good reputation in the area, but as I have been spreading my story widely and hearing feedback, that's obviously not the case anymore

After completing the Puppy Training package (about 4 sessions) we continued on with the ecollar training package (an additional 4 sessions I believe) and she just graduated the other day! My puppy knows place, recall, perfectly walking on leash, all the important commands, and overall how to be an everywhere dog that we can take with us to bars, restaurants, parks & more. We are constantly told how well behaved our puppy is and it is simply because we brought her to Ashley early on and his training helped shape her into the perfect dog she is today. I am SO grateful to Ashley for helping get our girl to be our forever everywhere dog. Do yourself a favor and go to ASHLEY!!!!

Our experience with Ashley and his team has been nothing short of extraordinary- we couldn't be more grateful for the transformation they brought us. For the past year and a half we have been dealing with an anxious/aggressive/fearful dog who brought so much stress and anxiety into our lives. Every time we left the house it was an ordeal. We couldn't go on a walk or anywhere without our dog making a scene with both people and dogs. We exhausted many many options including professional dog trainers and a highly ranked behavior program at the SFSPCA where our dog was put on a variety of medications that showed little progress. We got to the point where we were so frustrated and didn't know what else to do in order to help our dog and we came across Gold Hill Canine. After our first phone call with Ashley we knew that he could help us. After sending our dog to Gold Hills 3 week training rehab program - hudson "the golden doodle" came back an entirely different dog. She visited our home often to keep everyone on their normal schedule, and she never once minded the extra messes that can come with older dogs. Erika balanced the needs of both of our dogs beautifully--playing with our high-energy pup to burn off that excitement and giving plenty of love and gentle attention to our low-energy dog. When our senior dog had an accident, she even took his blanket home, washed it, and brought it back so he could be comfortable again. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare. She also took great care of our cat, keeping the litter box clean, and she sent daily photos that always made us smile and gave us total peace of mind. 10/10 recommend. I've been bringing my cat to Rocklin Pet Spa since 2023 and had consistently good experiences until…read morethe past year, when she's come home with two unexplained injuries. The first being bloody scabs on her face last July. I spoke with the owner, and while we couldn't agree on the cause, the scabs healed and I gave them the benefit of the doubt. It felt like an isolated incident, and they seemed genuinely interested in making sure she was okay. The second incident happened more recently and is harder to set aside. After her appointment, her groomer pointed out a large patch of missing fur on her back. I was asked whether she'd had recent flea treatment or vaccinations, and the answer to both was no, with her last vaccines being eight months ago. I didn't want to jump to conclusions since I was looking at her while she was in her carrier, so I waited until I got home so I could properly assess how visible it was once she was up and moving about. I got home and confirmed that the patch was significant and clearly visible. I would've 1000% noticed something like this. I was with my cat the entire morning. She was sitting on my lap and I was petting her back just 30 minutes before her appointment; it would've been hard to not notice such a significant amount of fur missing as it would've been right in my face and I'm the type to notice if this cat has so much as a booger in her nose. I called back and spoke to her groomer who insisted they didn't remember anything happening during her appointment that could've caused this but they also said that they didn't notice the very noticeable missing fur until near the end of the appointment. I don't know what to make of that, but I am positive that my cat did not arrive this way. The saving grace is that my cat didn't seem to be in any pain and fur grows back (although I'm sure that spot on her back must have been really sore). This was an extremely upsetting experience as my cat is so sweet (even the groomer said she never gives them any trouble) and I only want her taken care of. Let me be clear: I don't believe anyone set out to harm her, but I can't overlook this careless incident and I just don't feel comfortable taking my cat here anymore unfortunately.

You prefer patients get medication at your clinic. So do I, you prescribed pregabalin for Tess that is hard to find, your clinic doesn't fill it and prices range from 300 down to 34. Chewy doesn't have it. All I needed was for your staff to ok the fill over the phone with no additional paperwork. This involved checking the prescription on the computer and authorizing it. They said no twice even after contacting a manager. 2. You were Charlie's PTP. You had all his records, ordered tests and handled some of his routine follow-up while he was being treated at UC Davis. We spent thousands of dollars at your clinic on Charlie for tests. UC Davis indicated within 5 minutes of me taking him there that he had a pronounced heart murmur. He had been seen at your clinic only one week before. I don't know if you listened to his heart, but Davis was very surprised that our vet had not caught the murmur. Charlie had endocarditis, we will never know if catching it earlier would have made any difference but the endless scans to his abdomen and numerous blood tests were financially very difficult and in the end heartbreaking and unnessary. I would have appreciated if some common sense could have been used given Tess" prescription as what you prescribed is not easy to obtain, and that a more thorough routine exam of Charlie could have been done prior to running expensive tests. These pets are loved family members. Thank you
