Everything with the dog went well. I had several dogs in Greenville and Lake Norman for Vet service, grooming and overnight stays. The problem with you is the internet, You don't remove the Greenville location no matter how many times I have asked. It's such a waist of time getting to the place to say yes to grooming etc. only it find I am in Greenville web instead of Lake Norman and I have to start all over again. I finally talked to someone this morning and they are now supposedly taking down the dogs that passed away. Yuppppy Someone is not listening to clients. read more

Two things here... 1. It's not a real lawn. 2. I highly doubt there's a Fluffy Dawn that attends this Pet Paradise. Or any Pet Paradise for that matter. Lulu gets very excited when I sing this song. She knows she is about to see all her friends (dogs and humans but NO cats for Lulu!). And if the weather is right, she might even get to go swimming. I'll have to think of a cat song related to Lulu being afraid of them. If you come up with something, feel free to share. Or present it to the Pet Paradise staff. My 18 month old dog was boarded for less than 48 hours and has kennel cough. I've had to put her on antibiotics and steroids. I contacted them to let them know and the girl her answered was unconcerned and was going to have the manager contact me. A week later and still no response. I had paid for extra outdoor time and I only saw my dog on the webcam once in the morning and once in the evening. The manager had credited me for the extra time. She stated they're having issues with webcams and I must have just logged on when the cameras happened to be down. I have since learned that others have had an issue with their dogs developing kennel cough from this facility. Very disappointed! read more

Warning! Do not accept Robin to groom your dog! She did a terrible job on my dog. I paid $75 literally for just a bath. What's bothers me the most is how they handle an unhappy customer. You are in service industry and know nothing about the customer service basics, Robin easily told me that it's your fault! Customer service 101: customer is always right!!! On my conversation with her I felt that I'm working for her and ended up owing her an apology! The business itself offered me to fix the grooming for my dog without a charge and Robin dog groomer took their offer back & told me that the manager will call me which never happened either! We have been taking our year old Goldendoodle here right for daycare after her spay at 7 months. Their literature explains if dog not spay or neutered they aren't with other dogs, (makes sense, don't want my puppy coming home pregnant!) Lily has endless energy and she needs that stimulation and play Play Pet Paradise offers. She loves the staff, sh loves the other fur friends. We had her groomed here once so far and was very pleased with the care and service we had as our girl is not the easiest for me to brush! Our groomer called me to let me know she had to cut her very short because of matting. I appreciated her concern and she gave me recommendations on brushes for her and even how to do it! Lily will be boarded in a few months for our vacation and I am glad we got a spot! My only issue is they get booked up (especially during holiday time) but staffing is issue for all places these days. We have been very happy with Pet Paradise! read more

Took our family pets here for a week of boarding. They didn't feed our 4lb dog for an entire day. Both dogs missed 3 meals (and snacks) for their entire stay. Total of 6 meals missed. They stayed 1 week!!! We get they don't get snacks because they're is not a lot of time but to not feed a small dog for THE WHOLE DAY???????? absolute trash of a place that does not care about your pet. Not our first issue with them as a family but was willing to overlook the other stuff as miscommunication. Not feeding our family pets though is inexcusable. Do NOT board your dog here. I would give zero stars if I could. Today was my dogs first day at day camp. Looked for her on the camera all day. Didn't see her. Called 12 times with no answer. Went to pick her up and asked to see that she actually went outside. She was there from 730-4 and they could only show me she was outside for about 30 min. If she was going to sit in a crate all day she may as well be at home in her own crate! Major waste of money!! read more

I had a 10:00 am appointment for my 2 dogs to be groomed. I arrived on time. I stopped back in around 1:00 PM to see if they were done. The girl behind the counter told me it would be another 2 hours, cause it usually takes 5 hours to groom. Wow I have had my dogs groomed, before moving here, and it NEVER took that long. I stopped back at 3:30, which was 5 1/2 hours since I dropped them off and they were finally finished. I got home and looked at the bill and it stated the grooming started at 1:13 PM and was completed at 3:23 PM. So if my appointment was for 10:00 AM, why did it start at 1:13 pm. My dogs sat there for 3 HOURS, before grooming. Then full groom was listed at $55. I was charged $80 for my 10 pound Shih Tzu and $70 for my 22 pound Bichon. I will never go here again. The staff here are unprofessional and unreliable. I had a confirmed grooming appointment for my dog at 8 am on a Saturday, and when I arrived the doors were locked. I noticed the door sticker saying that the lobby doesn't open until 9 am on Saturdays, so I call the number to contact an associate to let them know I was here for my dog's grooming appointment, but nobody answered the phone. I called five times and yet nobody answered, and the door was locked. So, I contacted a representative through their website online chat who told me to wait until they open and that they should be able to squeeze me in at 9. When I go inside the lobby, I ask about the appointment that I was late for because the doors were locked and nobody answered the phone. One of the girls at the front desk told me that because I missed my appointment I would have to reschedule because the groomer is too busy and I missed my appointment because I wasn't there on time, and that the groomer was waiting for me. Excuse me? Then why were the doors locked? Or why didn't anybody answer the phone the first five times I called? All she said was sorry about that and to enjoy the rest of my day. So I spoke to a supervisor who said that because I missed my appointment I had to reschedule, even though the groomer said to just leave the dog there and she would figure it out. The supervisor said no, that they couldn't do that because I didn't have a reservation. MY RESERVATION WAS AT 8 AM AND I MISSED IT BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T OPEN YOUR DOORS OR ANSWER YOUR PHONE. Not to mention, she told me that they were there waiting for me to come in, that I didn't show up, and that I didn't call. If they were waiting there for me to come in, why didn't anybody answer the phone and why was the door locked? Make it make sense please. This place is never getting my business or consideration again. Do better. read more

I've been going to pet paradise every month for the past year for my puppy's grooming. The past two experiences have traumatized my dog. I picked him up this past Thursday and he has been acting very skittish and anxious. He has lost his voice and is hiding under the couch and in other rooms. He is usually a very cuddly and loving pup. I can only deduce that he was crying or barking the entire grooming session. He came home with a cut so close to the skin that he knees and behind were red, raw and puffy. I will not go back as I am so afraid of how my dog was treated throughout this ordeal. It is now Sunday and he is still hiding in the other room. I am emotionally horrified by what took place. read more

Extremely limited playtime for dogs due to Covid! Ask lots of questions because the dogs are definitely not getting the service from before Covid. None of these new policies are communicated to the customer. I checked the cameras multiple times and there were NO dogs outside. I expect this right after lunch but not throughout the day. My dog spent most of her day in a crate - she could have done that for free at our house without the stress for us both. There are lots of doggie daycare options in this area that are far superior to this "paradise." I spoke with the manager about my concerns. She was not at all concerned! This location (Lake Norman) is consistently overbooked and understaffed. We took our boy there for half day of doggie day care four times in the last month. The reason for these appointments were to help in his socialization skills and of course to play! The first 2 visits he was taken out to the play yard and had a blast with all the other pups. The third time we dropped him they brought him to the yard but took him back in due to too many dogs already there and placed in a kennel. We noticed he was not brought out and returned to see why he wasn't out explaining the only reason for his visit was to play with other dogs. They responded that they didn't realize he wasn't outside! Really, forgot about our boy in a crate out back?! We figured we were partially to blame since we were not clear on our expectations for his visit. We decided to bring him back once more and clearly articulated our expectations letting them know we would just bring him back home if he wasn't allowed to go outside to play. The tech went back and confirmed he would be brought outside immediately to play. Maybe would need to be brought in about 3 and half hours. Great! We left our boy with them and left for breakfast. When pulling up the on-site cameras we noticed he was not outside! We returned and sure enough they threw him in a kennel! Again we explained our expectations when he was dropped off and that we felt like we were lied to by the front desk and by the manager. We will never return to this location. If you are looking for a place to crate a dog this is the place for you. If you are expecting your pup to play with other dogs and have fun, good luck to you. read more

This place sucks! I filled out all the paperwork ahead of time and arrived at 7am on a workday ready to drop off my pup. They then tell me that since he is 6 months old he would be sitting in a room by himself all day with "up to four" 15 minute walks and recommended I take him home. We have used pet paradise before to board our dogs. We dropped them off for a week. We have three dogs that have been strongly bonded. Two of our dogs needed to be boarded together which spoken about when we drop them off. They did not put our dogs together which caused them extreme stress. They did not eat for 3 DAYS before they called us to let us know. When picking up there was an extremely aggressive dog in the lobby. This dog was barking, snarling and showing extreme behavior. They allowed the dog to stay, which they are supposed to pass a temperament test. The manager was extremely rude with no customer service. We tried to explain our concerns and she blew us off. We will never be back at this location. Not one star worthy. read more

I stopped in without prior notice and was impressed by how the clean facilities were and hospitality of the staff. Pet Paradise? The name sounds good but please beware. I had my senior dog here just for 3 nights (thank God it wasn't any longer) and she is not doing well. She normally wears a diaper ONLY because she leaks but still needs to be let out. This place apparently left the diaper on and never let her out. She has a major diaper rash and also has the runs. So I'm assuming they left her in a dirty diaper for long periods of time. Ok i understand that there are a lot of dogs at this place but I feel that NO ONE new what was going on. No one could tell me how she did or if she had diarrhea and they had to wash her etc. she wasn't dirty so I'm assuming they cleaned her up once they saw but why wouldn't anyone tell me that? When I asked how my dog did, they basically read off what the instruction said in the computer. NO ONE working there knows what's really going on with our fur babies. They said they have over 20 employees working there throughout the day so no one knows who did what. I am so disappointed at this place. They may be ok with younger pets??? ok, I am so torn about this place. I like the place and they seem to be clean and the dogs seem happy to be ropped off but they seem to nickel and dime you to death. My husband dropped off our dog for a 5d ay visit and they asked him if the dog wanted to have extra play time. My husband says sure since they did not tell him they charge extra or that. What I picked her up they charged me for picking her up one hour late and then for the extra play time. I asked how many hours do they usually get, they said 6 hours. I said he wanted more than 6 hours play time? Ok, so here is where we have an issue. I purchased their APP and I check in every time we stop to have a drink or eat or are on a bus one in the car and out of the 5 days, I saw her one. Now if we paid for 8 hours outside a day which is more that needed, then why is she never outside? I asked this the first time she was there and she said group are kept separate from the ay care. Well is that not the reason you have several yards and why is it I never see one dog in that pool they keep going on about(in the summer) I Think we need to look into a new place because it s all about the mighty dollar and not so much about my dog read more

My doggos LOVE to camp whether for the day of overnight. They get so excited when I pull into the parking lot. The staff is very cheerful and know Harley and Louie by name. My cat, Cecily, seems content and lovable while she is there, so I guess that would mean she is happy! They are tuckered out when they get home, mission accomplished! read more

Took my dog Paco there this week for an evaluation of how he would behave with the facility and with the other dogs. Him and I both loved the experience! Staff was knowledgeable about their grounds and services and made me feel at ease of leaving my pup with them. When I picked Paco up he seemed sad to have to leave his new friends when usually he would be so happy to see me! Dropping him off again today, but for the week while I travel for the holiday. If you are going on vacation or simply need some time away from your pet, pet paradise is a great place to keep them. They keep your pet happy and safe. One thing I love is the reports that you get after their stay. They recap how your pet did and if they had a lot of fun. After traveling I am always exhausted and I do not want to deal with this crazy dog, but you can tell they have played super hard because they are tired too, which is good because they won't be crazy. If you need a place to keep your pets for a few days and you don't want them to have a bad time, bring them here and let them have an awesome time. read more

Our dog went there at 73lbs, healthy and happy. We picked him up FOUR days later and he was 64lbs from being so sick while he was there. We find out there was a virus going around (kennel cough) and our dog is DEATHLY ill because of it. 105 fever!!! Almost all of the dog food we sent with him was sent back with him, they just put it all into one bag to make it look like it wasn't all the food. And now we are worried about our 14 week old puppy getting kennel cough because of this!!!! Then we go and pick him up and the girl at the check out was SO RUDE. We were asking questions about the pricing and she was snarky and not caring at all that our dog almost died in their care! No play time and nothing happy came out of Pet Paradise. Our life is a mess now because of sending him there. I wish I didn't even have to give this place ONE star. DO. NOT. SEND. YOUR. DOG. HERE. I was also a little worried when I found out that The Meadows had been sold to Pet Paradise. However, most of the staff remained the same and now I can say that the service has also remained at the 5-star level. My 3 dogs love going there and I an assured that they will be well taken care of. One of my dogs is very skittish around people, especially men, but he is so happy when he sees the staff here. I love that my dogs are greeted by name when they walk in; you can tell the staff really love their jobs. I also love that the location is so close to my house and it's really quick to drop off and pick up, even when they're really busy. I've been boarding my dogs here for over 6 years and the transition from The Meadows to Pet Paradise was practically seamless. I plan to take my dogs here for many years to come. read more

My dog, Kyle, is in daycare full time at Pet Paradise. He loves it and gets made when he is not able to go. When there is a long weekend and he has been at home he runs to the doors and tries to open them himself. The staff all know him and me and are extremely helpful and friendly. Pet Paradise Lake Norman is amazing! Our rescue dog loves other dogs but she is not great with strangers. The staff here handled her perfectly! I was worried when The Meadows Bed and Bisquit sold their business to Pet Paradise as we were extremely happy with the Meadows. But, as we were assured by the owners, they researched before selling and choosing Pet Paradise. We take both of our pets - Riley and Milo - for boarding and have been quite pleased. They actually spend a bit more time with the dogs outside and let them play with toys along with the other dogs. Milo is pretty mellow and happy to go with the flow. Riley is a shorthair pointer and needs exercise and loves to swim. The only thing better is playing fetch! I highly recommend this place as they take great care of our pups and even send home a review of their stay. Lastly, it is also nice to see the pictures they post on Facebook so we can see what is happening while we are away from our four-legged family members. read more
