Sam of all Trades? Yeah right, I can tell you what she was…read moregood at, being unresponsive during pre-planning, not taking the correct notes, forgetting tasks, and hitting the bar where by 6:30 PM we were warned she was going to be cut off. We asked her to leave our wedding, she didn't get the hint the first time and had to be followed out. Professionalism is measured by your ability to do your job, and taking ownership if something went wrong. She hasn't done either. You should never bad mouth my bride or any bride and her family during the wedding to the guests. We have had several calls from our guests where she was talking negatively about us. It's disappointing when the one person who caused drama, things to go wrong and a bad experience is the one you hired to prevent that.

Worst experience of my life…read more From the beginning she made many promises. She was only hired for day before and day of with 40 hours planning before. We never did the planning it was just awkward text messages of too much information on her own health. She was not prepared for rehearsal nor took notes as she got the days wrong on when my other vendors would be showing up. When I asked my vendors she was also "very hard to work with and all over the place." Day of I was busy getting ready while she partook in the open bar, i was sent pictures from the bar owners. I have had many people call me about her bad mouthing myself and my mother for asking her to complete her tasks. She dropped our cupcakes. Pulled the head table down and called for a decorator 45mins away to come fix it. By dinner time she was so drunk the bartender said she was cutting her off. Chairs were not moved to tables from my ceremony as I asked. Several people at my wedding had to tell her to be quiet for bad mouthing me and saying she got paid already. Shes a complete fraud with an old buisness license. She called my venue owner after and tried to get him to ask for more money for her for holes in her dress. Stay clear of her nothing but trouble. Unprofessional and dressed inappropriately.

Keeping the 5 star status going!…read more Arrived on a Friday evening and stayed until Sunday morning. Staff was nothing but polite, considerate, and helpful. They stuck our 5 year old's name on customer of the day and allowed her to spin the prize wheel each day we stayed. She was thrilled to win a koozie. Hotel lobby was clean and they had candy, water bottles, and fresh cookies out for guests to enjoy. You could borrow an appliance for your room if needed. There was a little food pantry stocked to the brim if you needed a quick snack or forgot to pack something. Yogurt, apples, oranges, coffee, water, and hot cocoa were all free. Our room was clean and tidy. It came fully stocked with utensils, dishes, cookware, paper towels, dish soap/dishwasher pods, a coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. The hotel was also pet friendly, which was a major plus since we had our two dogs with us. There was a nice little gym section which was connected to the laundry facility and pool. We didn't use the gym or laundry during this stay, but our kids loved the pool. The water was a little cold for my liking, but the kids didn't seem to mind. The area was handicap accessible, clean, and stocked with fresh towels. There was a lovely outdoor patio with heat lamps, tables, and a few grills. Around back, there was a dog walk area stocked with poop bags and a trash can. To my surprise, there were also children's toys-- two cozy coupes, a slide, some scooters, and balance bikes. These people really have it together! If we ever go back to Carlsbad, I'd stay there again!

Very clean and staff was awesome. The manager was super nice and helped us with any questions we…read morehad. Recommend this hotel to anyone.

Avoided using the noisy a/c (the a/c in motels always seems to be noisy) New carpet-tiles TV armoire (not being used for the TV) provided extra storage space Nice swimming pool Picnic tables Cute playground that our kids loved (esp. the 6 year old) 3 bars of soap Fridge & microwave in good condition Bedspreads seemed new Pleasant people behind the counter Multiple washers & dryers Cons: Not enough bath towels (we were never able to get a fourth towel) Dog poo in playground (that ended up on aforementioned 6-year-old's shoe) No crossbar on the towel bar Wifi never worked for iPods/iPhone, and was unreliable on laptop FYI, don't expect a safe deposit box, hair dryer, or breakfast (there was coffee, and some pretty unappetizing packaged mini muffins and pseudo cinnamon rolls).

If you have kids under 10, go here. Rooms are clean and wifi is ok. But the best part about the…read moreStage Coach is the awesome playground. It has real see-saws! The swings are great for adults and kids alike and the grass is soft for the occasional flop. They even have cool spring horses like when I was a kid. The pool is clean and great to get all that childhood energy expended that got all stores up from that long drive from Albuquerque, Ft Stockton, or El Paso. Look folks, this is a real place and not owned by some chain. The Stage Coach Inn is historic Roswell at its best. You do have the option of huge flatscreen tv' with free HBO. But I suggest you get your kids outside.
