I had looked up the appliance we wanted, nothing fancy, we found a great deal with over $100 savings, online and phoned the store with 1 hour until closing. Brandon took my call and was very helpful, professional and knowledgeable. He took care of everything in one phone call, in 15 minutes I had brought the new appliance and arranged delivery, installation and removal. I had an excellent experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend and shop here again myself. The delivery team arrived exactly as they had said, keeping us updated and informed of progress. They were efficient, clean and friendly and took all of the packaging and the old appliance away after installing the new appliance. What an easy experience.

Got the run-around - they were sending me a link where I was to send in a video of the door not closing (seriously?). They got my email address wrong. Finally straightened that out, and was dealing with a different person. Sent photo and video then, a week and a half later, finally received an email from the manufacturer on Friday asking me to phone and confirm an appointment for Monday (today). They're closed all weekend so couldn't phone to confirm but I set aside the day to wait around. Phoned the number this morning and was given another song and dance about how this isn't an appointment. Sure sounds like it was, as the email from the manufacturer says, "calI to confirm the appointment date and time". Now I wait, again, for a call with a confirmed appointment. Sure glad this isn't a fridge or freezer with a door that doesn't shut. Haven't heard squat from our salesperson - how about a follow-up call after delivery to see how things are going? Trail Appliances has washed their hands of us - handed us to an applicance repair company in town and to the manufacturer of our appliance who can't seem to coordinate things before contacting us. And as I go to post this, right below the box is: "This review is looking pretty epic! Nice!" Get your act together Trail.

We bought a very expensive hot tub from Paramount Recreation in January 2022. We have needed to call on two separate occasions for service, same issue with the tub both times. It was a challenge to get a service call the first time but this time was even worse. After 3 weeks of me repeatedly calling and being told we would be seen "the next time" they were up in our area it wasn't until I emailed the manufacture's customer service and cc'd Paramount that I actually got a response. I heard from the manufacturer quickly and had a service visit the next day. Paramount wasn't really sure what the issue was, thought it might be a board and said I needed to get the part directly from the manufacturer (tub is under warranty) or I could pay $950 and they'd get the part from their supplier??? To top things off, I had to give my cc number to initiate the service call, i asked how much would be charged, told $157 but was then charged an extra $100 for travel. Should have been contacted before additional $$ put on my cc. I'd encourage folks to look around for a company with a much better after purchase service record.

Charge $150 to come look after only owning the tub 4 months, then don't show to fix the seal. Manager Matt is the most rude individual in the free world. He should not be in the sales business as he does not know how to speak to the public. The owner needs to take a look at his sales team in the parksville location. It's embarrassing. Better business bureau is my next stop. You're best to stay local with a small operation. This company is horrible!
