They were warrantied about 2 months after I got them, so I was super careful, but they scratched up again, maybe my shirt pocket once in a while is too much for them. She does not try to convince her patients to have all kinds of unnecessary work done (like other dentists do) because she knows that nothing compares to natural teeth. Dr. Fran's conservative, respectful approach is why her patients promote her to others. Any dentist who has pure motives regarding their patient's teeth deserves to have more patients than they can handle and that is why I am writing this review. Dr. Fran is also very gentle which makes her the best dentist for children and those who are worried about pain. Finally, I must say that she is truly a wonderful person and she has a good sense of humour as well. Dianne and Anne work at the front desk and they are really nice ladies. I enjoy talking to them because they are really down to earth and compassionate. I would bring some food and drinks and sit and talk them--but they are too busy. Autumn is one of Dr. Fran's assistants and she is very friendly and up-beat. All said, Dr. Fran and the other ladies make one's dental appointment as calming and pleasant as possible. I close my eyes and get some needed rest while Dr. Fran is working in my mouth, and sometimes get to have a laugh or two during an appointment. Dr. Fran is in the Campbell River Common mall on Ironwood Street. Dollarama and Thrifty Foods are part of the same mall.

The optometrist (I hope I used the right word) was super thorough and allowed me all the questions I had. I have family history of glaucoma and I'm getting to that age where cataracts are becoming a thing. Glad to find out I am okay for both for now but I've been put into the system to see a specialist as a follow up in a years time. Afterwards I spoke to another woman who helped me through what was a blepharitis diagnosis. I know several people who have this and none do their treatments so I've decided to stay on top of mine. Apparently 85% of women get this. I thought I had dry/overtired eyes from phone overuse but a simple treatment of wipes and a linseed mask heated in the microwave and my eyes are feeling better already.
