We purchased a 2022 Grand Design Reflection Fifth Wheel from the Clarksville, IN location and paid for the "peace of mind" package and were told several times the RV would be thoroughly checked over by their service department before we took possession. Listed below are several issues that we had that were missed and cost us time and money: 4 days after purchase - water pump needed replacing 1 mth after purchase - battery needed replacing 2 mths after purchase - convertor needed to be replaced They did finally compensate us for the repairs after contacting their customer service department but very time consuming process. read more

From beginning of my service to the end, everyone at Campers Inn RV was courteous and professional. I was informed of pricing up front and called a couple of times while my RV was there to give me updates. In an industry fraught with unethical and shady people, Campers Inn RV stands out as a shining star. I have deal with at least 7 other stores looking for service and never made it past a phone call they were so bad. The place I bought it was equally bad. I do want to give a shout out to Jesse, my service tech! She was more like family than a technician. I bought a 2022 Aliner Ranger 12 from them and was told 3 times which my fiance and 18 yo daughter heard them say there were NO LEAKS! I live about 4 hours from their Louisville location I tow it home and the very next day there's water from me towing it home in the passenger side corner. After multiple phone calls I finally get the service supervisor and he tells me he will contact the Collinsville location because they're closer for me to bring it in to get it fixed. Fast forward about a month still NO CALL! And to add insult to injury today we have a rain storm and I find 3 corners leaking and leaks under my window and a small puddle on my counter top all which I documented with video and photos. Once the sale is made you're jerked around and I'm sure they hope you just go away. Well I WILL NOT GO AWAY! Next step is I talk to my attorney who's a good friend of mine and he loves suing dishonest businesses that lie and rip people off! read more

I have to update my review for Campers inn RV. I originally was disappointed I never received a reply but a few days after posting this review I received a call from them before they ever replied to the original review, so I don't think the negative review was the reason they reached out. James reached out to me and we discussed the issue and he put me at ease with his knowledge of the situation and the plan he set up to get my rv repaired. Our service advisor Jamie was never able to be reached via phone. We called and would frequently go to voice mail and maybe he would call us back later that week. When we were able to contact to ask about the status of our rv, he was always condescending and say "I told your wife this or your husband this". They had our rv for 2 months to replace the axle the long wait was mostly due to grand design fighting us on the warranty as well as forgetting to ship parts or taking a long time. When we had enough of dealing with rv maintenance and looking to sell, we attempted to contact the sales department to see if they would be interested in buying our rv and again it took multiple calls. We finally got an answer when we had to drive 2 hrs to the location to ask in person and pick up our rv. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. They did great during the sale then it became nothing but problems. First on the day of delivery/ pickup we noticed there were some issues such as air conditioner leaking inside and a few other things. We waited more than 4 hours while they "fixed" all items. We took our first trip within a month of picking it up and noticed the leak wasn't fixed plus at least 10 other problems. We took it back in a month after picking it up. After taking it in, I realized I hadn't heard anything about the license plate. When I called I was then told well you have to go pick up the plate with the RV due to crossing state lines from where it was purchased to where it is registered. At no time was this told to us until I called. The temp tag expired while it is at the dealership for more than 45 days pending repairs. Now I have the RV with expired temp tag and they won't renew the tag nor give a new one whenever I am told it is finally fixed. Sales is great. After that I would not suggest this business read more

On 10/11/24 I purchased a 2018 EAGLE HT model 29.5BHDS fifth wheel camper with cash money I had saved the salesman was awesome to work with no complaints there . It is now 03/05/25 I have yet to receive a title or plate for the unit . I spoke with the dealership and the excuse months ago was they just got the lien release on it . I called the dealership again this morning 03/05/24 and now the excuse is the other lien release had some wrong numbers in it and that they are trying to work with the bank to get the correct lien release within the next few weeks. I dropped off my Mercedes Beast for repair, solor panel damaged, fan vent cover, and body had hail damage, I told them I had a check for 13k from my insurance company to get items addressed and costumer service was horrible from once I walked in. Not one person greeted me ( I was in sweats and a tshirt ) until I jumped in a van they had on the showroom floor. The salesman acted very shocked I owned the same unit but 3 years its age. Once I told him why I was there he changed his attitude towards this guy can buy. Service never had the same answer when I would call, parts are her than not here than they sent us the wrong part to finally find out they never were ordered until closer to the third week mark. The price was 13k to repair vehicle but once I received a call from my insurance to not pay them until they talk to them than it came down to 7k ish WTF? I would not recommend them at all. I bought my Momentum M351at Tom Stinnett's in 2020 and I had a blow out on my M351M traveling to FL. I needed a new rim, so I called the parts department for a new rim and Grand Designed did not have it in stock. They did the reserch for where I could source it from. I had purchased a preowned 2020 Baystar ! by newmar , not happy with the service and team at Toms campers Inn . They was supposed to prep the Motorhome and in fact they didn't do anything ! knowing there was a dog in the motorhome previous . it was disgusting and dog food and dog hair every where . this wasn't a cheap purchase for my husband an I. I am 8 months pregnant and all I been doing since I got the RV is been cleaning and cleaning up dog hair . I'm so upset. Driving our RV from Missouri to the East Coast we discovered a brake and turn light was not working. Happened to stop in at Campers Inn for help. Although busy that day, service manager Mark and general manager Paul took time to figure out the problem (bad fuse in a hidden location behind a wall) and fix it, even though the work took them past their usual closing time. We deeply appreciate everything Mark, Paul and the others at Campers Inn did to help us. There seems to be a pattern of Tom Stinnet not following through on promised repairs and maintenance for used RVs. My mother found a RV she was ready to buy. Salesperson promised that all the minor issues it had would be addressed before we picked it up along with cleaning, caulking, ac issue, etc. When my mother went to pick it up NOTHING had been done at all and they kept pressuring her to take possession. Stay FAR FAR away from this place. I will say that our salesman was wonderful but after that it was complete chaos. The service team is absolutely unable to properly work on a toy camper let alone a real one. Constant delays, not properly turning in warranty work, had our band new 2024 camper for 3.5 months so far and we only bought it 8 months ago. We have had to get the manufacturer involved and we will continue to fight for our camper to be properly fixed. I would advise to never go to this Campers Inn for service. read more

We drove 6 hrs to pick up our new to us class A. The person showing us everything on the unit was not very knowledgeable. They pointed out where the water filter was (which is behind a board) advising when to change the filter. Once we got home, we realized the filter is not hooked up, it was bypassed. The unit was supposed to be cleaned prior to us picking it up. However, we found broken glass bottles behind the cabinet in the kitchen slide. Needless to say, it wasn't cleaned. read more

Had my Chevrolet Colorado wired as a tow vehicle and they put a female 4 wire on the front of my truck??? Good Luck finding anything that plugs into it! Everyone knows that it has to be a male trailer plug to work with standard wiring. They made a bastard wire that has male and female ends, it has to have two male ends, so they couldn't even do that right so how did they test it?? After realizing that Tom's boys can't do a professional job I got online and found that there are wiring kits. Now why doesn't a company that sells RV's have access to quality parts? (See Picture) When I walked up to my truck after they said it was done the first thing I noticed was the wire plug hanging down. I made an appointment more than a month out so they could get all the parts they would need. Very surprised than a company this size would do such a shoddy job. read more

Update on service...mechanic called and guess what? they got the wrong part....it has been 4 weeks....how much longer?

While we didn't buy our camper from them (due to the model we wanted not being in stock and no time to order it), we have used their parts department on several occasions. Without fail, the parts department staff have been terrific! While I might not know the correct term or name of the part I need, other than a "thing-a-ma-bob" or a "what cha-ma-call it", they always seem to be able to decipher what I need in a friendly courteous way and it's mostly been in stock. read more

We shopped around several different places for a camper that fit our lifestyle. We ended up telling the salesman exactly what we wanted and what we didn't want, and he took us to one camper and we ended up driving that camper home four days later. Turned out to be the best buy we could have ever made. No regrets whatsoever in making the decision on this camper. Easy process. After a long search we decided on a Newmar 3008 rv. Began our pricing search via the internet as our schedule was pretty flexible. Came across a unit in Louisville, actually Clarksville Indiana at this dealership. Inquired and was contacted by Mitch Hall with Campers Inn internet sales. Mitch worked with us on getting us a fair trade value of our existing 5th wheel, and arranging to pick up that trade from the UP of Michigan to the Indiana facility as part of the sale. Set up the on-site inspection and assisted with the replacement of a cushion that was missing. Shawnee Ray did a great job demonstrating the features of the motor home. And we were allowed to store the motor home at the dealers facility until we can pick it up April. Great experience thus far. We bought an RV in January. They sold us an Rv with a recall without informing us at the time of purchase, when it was time to pick up the rv they informed us of the recall and that we could not pick up our rv. I myself!, had to tract down the part and dealership to get the recall fix! They made little attempt to contact us, and when we would contact us them the continually blatantly lie to us, one day the part was there, the next they had no idea when the part would be in! Finally we hired an attorney to help with the correspondence and they responded. They told us they would make the payments until pick up, we have yet to receive any form of payment for our inconveniences. We also pd for our fuel of which was "on the house" later to find we paid for a full tank and got three quarter tank. I have never in my adult life had such poor customer service, Paul Cunningham, Mark Montgomery and Heddgie you should be ashamed of yourself and your poorly run establishment! I should have known upon purchase when your salesman did not get up from the chair to shake our hand for the purchase I was I in the wrong place! Please if you are looking to buy an RV go somewhere else, these folks will not take care of you! Sadly then you have the audacity to ask your service guy if he treated me poorly or made us mad after the review! And yet you have not attempted to right the poor treatment we received from the salesman Heddgie, Paul or Mark???Leroy and your sales guy at your campers store treated us like gold!! Bought a Class C motorhome on Oct,9th 2021 Bought as is & i understand that but the camper should have never been put back up for sale!! We bought a used unit (2018 Grand Designs Imagine) from Stinnet in April of 2021. We had shopped around extensively in the area and felt good about the process at Stinnet. The unit looked like new and it was hard to tell if it had been used at all. We opted to purchase the AGWS warranty Platinum Plus plan through the dealership as we had concerns about the axles on the unit (the axle concerns came from the only bad reviews we found about that model). The dealership assured us there was no recall on the unit and everything was fine. We also purchased the 'Peace of Mind' package to make sure that the service department did a '250+ point inspection' and replaced the battery, topped off the propane, etc. to prevent maintenance items from popping up in the first year of our ownership. We took the unit on a short camping trip to Brown County State Park the first weekend after purchasing it. I found two small holes in the roof that first weekend, but being handy, patched them myself and chalked it up to a minor miss by the dealer. We placed the unit in storage till our big trip we had planned for 3 months later. It had not rained on the unit at this point. When we brought the unit home to pack for our trip in August 2021 , we immediately found water damage to the floor under the slide out. At this point we felt like we would have time to bring this up after we returned home from our month long western trip. We wish we would have had more time with the unit, as the entire trip we had problems with electrical ooutlets, the fridge, the water heater, the battery charging system, the battery itself (supposed to be new), the slide out leaking, and the axles- the main item we were worried about. In fact, we were not even 600 miles into our ownership of the unit before we noticed heavy irregular wear on our rear tires in central Missouri (we were traveling out of Louisville). We ended up replacing tires, an axle, multiple faulty outlets, a battery, running propane for our fridge the entire trip, rerouting for the axle replacement and loosing food, lodgings we paid for, incurring more lodging expense outside of our itinerary and dealing with poor warranty service to boot. We never even received a call back from the multiple calls we placed to the dealership to ask for assistance. When we finally returned home, we stopped on the way into town to confront the manager at Stinnet. He hemmed and hawed about their responsibility and assured us after all we had been through that he would still put his own family members in our unit, no worries! He welcomed us to bring the unit in for service to try to iron out the problems. I dropped off the unit to allow them to do the right thing and fix the problems. In the meantime I pursued AGWS for a warranty claim to cover extra lodgings, spoiled foo, broken axles, and new tires. Then, after a month and a half the dealership called us to let us know that some things had been fixed but they needed approval before fixing the floor , as that would be costly. Then they told me that they had an invoice for the work they did to fix the other things the 'Peace of Mind' package should have addressed prior to us taking ownership of the unit. Thats some balls folks. Around this same time, we were told by the people at AGWS that they don't cover broken or bent axles, even though their warranty paperwork clearly states that they do. The infuriating argument I had with them is not fit for this review, by suffice to say they are a con operation; arguing about the meaning of words and playing other semantic games to avoid honoring our claim. At this point, I have finally spoken for the first time on the phone with the manager I talked to on Sept. 14th in person while driving home. He told me no one had notified him that I was trying to get ahold of him, even though I had been requesting a conversation with him for almost 2 months. We spent an additional 3k in repair parts, unexpected lodgings, spoiled food, and incidentals to prevent being stranded a 1000 miles from home while on our trip. This all unfolded from mid April of 2021 to mid September when we returned the unit for repairs. Now it has been 2 more months and they still have the unit while we deal with their poor communication, lack of responsibility, and slow pace. I thought they would rather eat several hundred dollars of repair cost than have a bad review or lawsuit, but here we are. STAY AWAY! read more

Campers Inn, We recently had the need to go to the Campers Inn RV of Louisville, Inc. We were literally staying next door at the Louiseville North Campground off Marriott Drive. This was our initial trip in our new RV that we recently purchased from Camper's Inn, Merrimack NH. Unfortunately, being novice campers, we made a bad decision when we arrived at our campsite. We had to unhitch and re-hitch a couple of times because of rookie positioning of our 5th wheel. Before we could re position to the right spot, we ended up damaging the actual hitching mechanism of our Pullrite autoslide hitch. we spent an uncomfortable Sunday night not able to open our slides all the way. Luckily, camping right next door, we went to Campers Inn as soon as they opened the next morning, hoping for some help for our situation. Although they were extremely busy, one of the service people immediately asked what we needed and was extremely helpful to begin a solution for us. He began trying to find a technician who had a moment to spare, when the Service / Parts Manager (Mark Montgomery) having come in on his day off, came over and took us under his wing. He came outside to our truck and accessed our damage. He also made calls to the Pullrite company for advice on fixing our damaged hitch. We all decided to replace the hitch mechanism rather than taking the chance of a repair. He then was able to overnight the part and have us happily on out way the next day. We are so pleased to state that the people we interacted with were the most helpful, polite, and courteous group I have ever encountered .I would like to specifically name Mark Montgomery for going way beyond normal customer service and making us feel like VIP's the entire time. I would also praise Dave ??, the technician who made our repairs in a fast and efficient manner. He also could not have been nicer!! This has been the worst experience ever. Pressured sale, (we bought) 2018 5th wheel. Sale was pressured but friendly. That's where it ends. As soon as the line was signed the customer service stopped. It all started with the 5th wheel hitch install. It took 7 hours. I took my truck there for a 2-3 hour install that lasted 7. I was without a vehicle out of state. I was never offered even a water. Then through my walk through we found a drawer that wouldn't stay on tract. Jason, the service tech "fixed" it along with the bathroom sink that poured water out the bottom of it. We took the camper 80 miles away to our seasonal campsite. Found out that Jason drilled a 2" screw through the wall of the closet. Screw still sticking through. Found it when I sliced my thumb open. Sink still leaks. Called them, told them about it. They weren't concerned. Just told me to take notes and they will fix it on it's scheduled service. UNACCEPTABLE. No apology at all. Our fireplace remote was missing along with a shelf under the bathroom sink. They ordered them in November of 2018. Remote came in in about a week. Went to pick it up, my salesman (Eric) told me to go back to service and give Jason "shit" for messing up our brand new camper. WHO WOULD DO THAT? The shelf is still. It in. Its February 2019!!! Mark Montgomery (Sales Manager) has not returned a single phone call and there have been 11 made. 3 today. Mr. Cunningham (Store Manager) will not answer his phone today. On hold for him for 45 minutes while I type this. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND CAMPERS IN. Louisville KY to anybody.....I'll update later as to how this turns out but I'm not done. The sale, hum it was easy enough I suppose even though they try to make more on jacking up financing percent until you tell them your credit union is cheaper then they will meet it, must say credit scores 840. Purchased a used 2018, in 2018 supposedly used 3 times and family decided wanted bigger(sleeps 10, 35 ft). May 2019, we hadn't owned a year yet but took back in for the suggested service check of $200.00, but thought we were dealing with a professional camper dealer, that went away when ole Tom bailed and global Campers Inn bought in. Everything checked out fine or so they said, not even sure anything was done.If could would not even give one star. *******UPDATE- The staff in service, parts and warranty are the worst I have ever seen, worse than a car dealership. When you need your extended warranty it becomes a total joke. When the service manager says his part person has tried to contact the manufacturer and can't get hold of them, yet you pick up the phone and call several times and receive emails from them here comes the delay tactics. When you purchase they are all about being helpful and out the door. When you need service you are put off. Soooo we asked for a manager of the manager, lmbo. While on the phone with this "manager"(Mark Montgomery) he is telling us how they can't get hold of the manufacturer again even after I told him I called that morning 4 minutes after they opened, I dialed the number again and guess what a parts lady answered as I am discussing the dealership having issues contacting them and the manager still on phone thru Bluetooth in vehicle he precedes to call the lady a liar???? What the heck? You sell and promote this manufacturer but tell your customer that you sold this product they are liars. Best yet, he does after this call them, calls us back and said he sent an email with descriptions of what was needed 40 minutes ago( funny b/c this issues hadn't been 40 minutes old), no apologies. We called manufacturer 30 minutes later and she checked both emails that he was given and still had not received, I also asked if he was as rude and obnoxious as when on phone with us, she said he tried to start out that way but she wasn't having any part of it. If they tell you you are priority especially with your platinum extended warranty, don't believe it. If your buying you will be treated like royalty. Keep in mind our RV IS A YEAR OLD AND HAS A LONG TIME LEFT FOR THE "EXTENDED WARRANTY" 07/15/19 Still no camper after told they were taking part of unit on lot(07/09/19)and had ordered metal. 07/11/19 receive email stating they ordered the part instead of taking it off of the one on lot. Today, I call the manufacturer to find out they did order a part however after doing due deligence for customer service they found that the dealership negligence of ordering as protocol has been in past via calls and email, they ordered the wrong part. If they had done as they should have the right part would have been ordered, but after calling the lady a liar they chose a differnet route, which costs us the owner more lost time. Yes we have tried to go to corporate but they continue to make excuses for the poor service department. Since we purchased there have been several other RV Dealerships open around us and will receive our business in the future. ******At least the manufacturer continues to apologize for the bad service from dealership, and has gone above and beyond after being denegrated and called a liar, not once has the dealership shown ANY concerns with the delay.********* read more

This is the second time I have tried to leave a review the first one I could not fine it on this page. We today went and talked to an attorney about the way I was done by Camper INN he told me I had a case if I wanted to go for it. Well we bought a Reflection Grand Design love it until an the wires stated a fire in the floor. I called and tried to talk to the man who was over the insurance left a message he didn't call me back. I found out that the name of this RV had many recall for the same problem. The next day I call for him again and I got him on the phone. He said that the state came in and cancelled my gap insurance almost a year before. We have checked with other RV dealers and with the attorney and they all say the state don't cancel gap insurance. The man said we sent you a letter telling us about the gap insurance was cancel but we didn't get any letter on it they could have called or email me because they had that information didn't get no calls no emails. So before you buy a RV you should check to see if they are on RECALL. I wish I have never walked on their lot.
