No crazy sales tactics no selling you crap you don't need. Just honest to the point help. They have a loyal customer base which of which I am happy to be a part of. I would rather drive 5 hours and past multiple other RV dealers to see the Road Trip Camping crew. It's hard to put my finger on exactly what it is. But I think honest sums it up. I was comfortable giving the a 5k check based on a hand shake agreement

BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU COMPLAINT FORTHCOMING…read more I strongly recommend that prospective buyers use caution before purchasing from Road Trip Camping. My experience after buying a 2024 TAXA TigerMoth Overland has been extraordinarily frustrating, and I am now preparing to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. When I purchased the camper, owner Warren and his staff repeatedly emphasized Road Trip Camping's relationship with TAXA, their standing as a major dealer, and Warren's personal relationships with people at the company. Those assurances gave me confidence that if something went wrong, I would be taken care of. Unfortunately, things went wrong almost immediately. First, the air conditioner supplied with the camper made violent gurgling noises and had damaged controls. When I initially reported it, Flo suggested the noise might be normal because her trailer's AC sounded similar. I pushed the issue, submitted a warranty claim, and the replacement was ultimately approved. I was instructed to purchase the replacement myself and submit the receipt for reimbursement. I did exactly that. Months later, I still have not been reimbursed more than $200 for the replacement AC. Then came something far more serious. On only my third trip with the camper, the driver's-side wheel bearing disintegrated while my wife, children, and I were traveling approximately 70 mph. A passing motorist yelled to us that our tire was on fire. We slowed down and pulled over. The bearing had failed catastrophically and generated enough heat to damage the hub components. When the trailer service company arrived, the wheel was precariously positioned on the axle. This could have ended very differently. This was particularly disturbing because I had been told the camper had been serviced and inspected before I purchased it. Warren personally assured me that he would oversee the warranty repair. Because I live nearly four hours from the dealership, parts were shipped to my home so the work could be completed locally. When one shipment arrived, I was required to pay nearly $100 in import charges just to receive the warranty parts. I then paid approximately $585 for the local repair/service work and submitted the costs for reimbursement. Again, I have not been reimbursed. Throughout this process I copied Road Trip Camping on communications and repeatedly asked for their help. At one point Brittany told me they had left a message with Storyteller's main office and that if I wanted additional information, I should contact Storyteller's Accounts Payable department myself. After purchasing the camper from Road Trip Camping based partly on assurances about their relationship with the manufacturer, I found that response astonishing. I am now out nearly $1,000 between warranty-related expenses, repair costs, shipping/import charges, and the replacement AC, while continuing to discover issues with a camper I was told had been inspected before delivery. Most frustratingly, Warren personally assured me that if Storyteller did not make this right, he would. That has not happened. I have retained the emails, warranty documentation, receipts, photographs, repair information, and correspondence associated with these issues. I would welcome Road Trip Camping responding publicly and answering two very simple questions: 1. Why have these documented warranty expenses still not been reimbursed? 2. Will Road Trip Camping honor Warren's personal assurance that these issues would be taken care of? Until that happens, based on my experience, I cannot recommend purchasing a camper from Road Trip Camping.

I had to bring it to them to continuously address issues. I will admit some of what was being addressed was not related to them and it was something that may have occurred or I asked to have put on. But the warranty ticket was/is about 5 pages long. They have been slow to fix things and they do not respond to emails or calls. Recently they had my RV for almost 6 months and did nothing with it except create 2 big gash in my interior doors and sink area and fix only one of 7 items I brought it in for. One of which was they had bent my bumper the last time it was there and was supposed to take care of it but did nothing. They don't care about you after the sale. They have an extremely horrible business practice. The managers do not even call you back. Buyers beware! They are only nice to take your money initially. Everything negative you read about them online is true. Don't trust your money to these con artists. Ask yourself one thing if you read this review. Why is it that they only comment on people who give good reviews but never address the reviews with issues... just saying the customer care is telling! A caring company would try to turn a review to a positive. However you are not seeing that at all....

We are on our 3rd camper - a Brinkley, purchased from General RV at the show in PA back in 2024. We bought a 2025 Z2900. Prior to our current camper, we had a Jayco travel trailer and then a Jayco 5th wheel, both purchased from Camping World (2 different dealerships since they are franchises). The BS we dealt with for years with these campers and dealers would make this the longest Yelp post ever. So let me skip to the good. Everyone at General RV has been amazing! Their sales people are amazing. They bend over backwards to make it work. But even better? Their service department is second to none! We are on year two with our camper and the service department has always gone out of their way to make sure we are taken care of. Lori is a TOTAL rockstar! Unlike Camping World, there is no BS and lies. The General RV service department gets it DONE. So responsive! So communicative! We will never buy another Brinkley (because that is all we will ever buy again) from anywhere else!

I came across the boat I wanted, 2007 Nitro, 20', 150 HP Mercury, trailer and all the accessories to include a Hummingbird Helix 10, trolling motor, full gauge package and trailered by a Nitro dual axle trailer. Priced reasonably and only one owner of the watercraft. However, this boat was in Montross, Virginia at "Magnum RV". I am in located in Wisconsin and I made up my mind to buy that boat and have it transferred to Wisconsin. I had absolutely no idea how to do this; but Melanie at Magnum RV made it happen! We facetimed, texted and called each other to view the boat, talked and I asked questions. AND it was taken on a sea trial that was filmed real-time so I could watch and learn how to operate this amazing bass boat. I grew up on the Gulf Coast of Florida and have purchased so many boats: Bayliner (yuk), Checkmate, Mirro Craft and Mako Center Console. I have NEVER experienced such exceptional customer service in my LIFE!!!!! The Magnum RV staff will stop at nothing to help their customers. They stayed late, made themselves available on weekends and after business hours. Our transaction was done with Military precision. Words cannot express how grateful I am for all the staff at Magnum RV, Montross, Virginia! If you need an RV, Boat or Auto/Truck - Check MagnumRV.com - I guarantee you will be very pleased. There still are honest and professional recreational vehicle dealers and Magnum RV, by far, is the Best of the Best! Thank you again Melanie, Danny and all the partners of Magnum RV! And should you chose to purchase a boat at Magnum RV, and need it delivered, I used DCBA Transportation, Casey Staten. Amazing and it was an absolute pleasure doing business with Casey - They can be found on the internet. Again, Well Done everybody!!

Very happy with the service to this point. ************************************** So far so good, We bought a new Thor Scope and the process went pretty well - I will explain the pretty well later ;) First off our sales person Brian Hersey was great. We had great online communication and the great communication continued when we were at the location. No pressure in the sales and he gave us a lot of good info. We took care of most of the paperwork online. Still spent a few hours at pickup :( Right now I think they did very well - which could go up or down. It seems we got the wrong keys. The remotes work but a day later when I tried the actual key it wasn't even close to working, so I think we have some mixed keys floating around. I know I should have checked at the dealer, but I haven't used an actual key in a vehicle for a bit. I am in the process of scheduling the protective coat process, so we will see how that goes. And I need to return a few things since the adapter and surge strip don't fit our Scope. Got a bit of bad advice in the store I guess. No biggy. We will see how this goes and I will update the review.

After sitting there for 4 hours, zero communication, nothing and then we are not interested in buying. Poor communication, lied on the phone and email and really poor business practices. One of the worst most wasted experiences I have had the displeasure of ever being put through. I will never visit another camping world ever, search facebook to find out more info on the company.
