If you are from Northern Virginia and want an inspection beware. We had a bear of a time convincing the person doing the inspection to pass the car because he said it was illegal to have the required City of Alexandria registration sticker on the windshield. I will never ever bring my car here again for risk they wouldn't pass it again over something that is legal and required in Northern Virginia.

We've been using them since we moved to Locust Grove in 2016 and have always found them to be honest, friendly and effective.

Integrity Automotive Is Outstanding! I brought my daughter's…read morecar to Integrity Automotive, and I couldn't be more impressed. From start to finish, everything was exceptional--service, pricing, timing, and communication. They diagnosed the issue quickly, ordered the necessary parts, and had everything installed faster than expected. The staff was professional, honest, and genuinely cared about getting the job done right. No upselling, no delays--just solid, trustworthy work. It's rare to find an auto shop that combines technical skill with such integrity and customer care. We'll definitely be returning for future service. Highly recommend.

Follow up: Diane from this place decided to go on the defense later the day that I posted it and…read moreclaimed they would never pass these tires - BUT YOU DID! Do you really think I would swap them for 4 other tires just to complain? I don't even OWN any other tires! Your company only has less than 3 stars overall (which is overly generous),so that says enough! WHY would I go to the trouble to make this stuff up? As far as the electrical, I noticed that night I first took it home that the brake lights never shut off and could not BE shut off - that's what I assume kept draining the battery - you DO inspect brake lights, right? Or maybe not, considering your "expertise" inspecting tires. "Integrity Auto" - what a farce! You have a lot of nerve calling me a liar when you are such a shoddy joke! After your nasty response, I've already contacted the Better Business Bureau and will follow up with the State Police. Original post: No stars if they let me. The worst experience I've EVER had ANYWHERE, and I'm 65 years old. Took my car in on July 2nd for a simple inspection, but they somehow completely messed up my electrical system and I needed to get a jump start from strangers three times in the next day. Took it back a day later because they had said I needed brakes and then they kept the car for five days, claiming I needed other things done and then charged me a fortune, including "fixing" what they had screwed up in the first place, which was why the battery kept dying. I didn't have a car for the entire July 4th weekend and more, which made me miss two family get-togethers. Then, less than two months later, THIS is what the tires that they had just passed for inspection looked like - my wife and I could have been killed if I hadn't noticed it by chance. She works from home and I am retired, so we seldom go ANYWHERE, but THIS tire and the other three badly worn ones passed. I had to buy black duct tape just to get it up to Costco for 4 new tires (see photos - these are two months after they passed inspection). Liars and thieves - go to Car Doctor instead. I intend on contacting the State Police and Better Business Bureau as well.

Actually Scott, the manager, has worked with me in the past to prioritize maintenance and repairs. Things other shops had said needed to be fixed right away, for lots of money no less, he showed me on the vehicle that the repairs weren't neccessary. I recommend The Car Dr to anyone who asks. I have complete confidence in their ability to service my vehicles.

I went here on recommendation from my coworker to get my alternator replaced in June of last year…read more It wasn't cheap, but I appreciated that they were very kind about it and got it done somewhat timely (took an extra day than originally said but that's fine). Well, in late April, less than a year after getting this work done, my car starts having stalling problems. I took it into a different shop, and they determined that the alternator had completely gone bad and would need to be replaced AGAIN. I commute, but this was maybe 15,000-20,000 miles at most that was put on this alternator. After showing my mechanic my initial bill, he was floored at the price ($800-$900), saying it was double what was typical for that kind of work. I would NOT recommend taking your car here. I no longer live in the area so I can't try to get that alternator replaced again with them, but I also do not trust where the parts are sourced from. EDIT: In addition, when I took my car to a new shop to get the alternator replaced, the mechanic told me frankly: "You got scammed, the alternator [that came out of my car] looks incredibly old and it was never going to last very long."
