Got the chai and asked for them to make it "dirty" by adding two shots. Loved the taste of the chai and the slight spice in it. The sweetness was just right for me. The interior of this coffee shop is super cozy and I'd love to study here one day! Only street parking is available but there was no issue finding any parking.

Campfire Coffee has been on my radar for a while and I finally got the chance to check it out last week. I'm so happy this place is less than 15 minutes from home! It's super close to UW Tacoma, so this definitely seems to be a hangout spot for college students working on homework, studying, etc. The whole time I was here (4 hours or so) it was comfortably full of other people working/studying. This coffee shop has ample table space for laptops and also plenty of outlets which is a bonus. I love how themed this spot is - given the name, you can probably guess that it's a camping/PNW theme and it's so cute. Loved all of the decor and the camping chair setup in the back of the cafe centered around a "campfire." Cute tree stump tables and simple wooden folding chairs. String lights strewn around the cafe. What's not to love?! Since I was here for a good amount of time, I tried a good amount of the menu including the Eggnog Latte, S'mores Latte, and the bacon breakfast sandwich. I forgot to ask for the Eggnog Latte uncut, so it wasn't as "eggnogy" as I usually like. Still good though. The S'Mores Latte was my favorite between the two - not too sweet, had a smoky taste to it, and the coffee was so smooth! The sandwich was good - didn't blow my mind, but it was tasty. I can't remember what brand it is, but it's just a pre-packaged one that they heat for you. I definitely see myself returning here a couple of times a month to work. Can't wait to try more of the menu and seasonal beverages!

Great spot for coffee when in Tacoma! Convenient location, friendly service, and quick to serve up! I loved the decorations and general vibe inside - cute tables, it felt like I was at a small shop in the middle of the woods, not in the middle of a city. Especially for those who are attending a conference at the nearby conference center, this is a must stop when in Tacoma!

Campfire Coffee has been on my list of coffee shops to check out for awhile and I finally made a trip recently. Parking was easy on the day I visited and I was able to park right on the side of their shop. I received great customer service and the employee gladly helped me decided what to order. I went with a 12 oz s'mores latte and it came out quickly. Very delicious - I felt like it was perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. The entire coffee shop is beautiful and has a lot of different spaces you can sit while also not being super close to other people. The only thing I did not like was there's no prices listed on the menu for anything - please consider adding the prices or at least on your website.

So cute in here! Got a great latte and a fantastic breakfast burrito. Was the perfect start to my day. Would highly recommend!

This place was a happy little accident! My original plans for the morning went down in flames (literally!) so I opted to just continue on down to Tacoma and find some sort of coffee shop. Yelp told me that I should go to Campfire, so clearly that's what I did! Super easy street parking in the morning, though there were a few near by pay lots for parking. Place was super easy to find and has some outdoor seating areas. Easy walking from UWT for you students! The inside really ties the "campfire" name in! Very clear theme going on, complete with "campfire" heater to kinda get the vibe going. Interestingly enough - they roast their coffee over a campfire -- old school style! The coffee was absolutely lovely and there were a ton of excellent looking/sounding food options. Most definitely worth stopping by!

A newer and excellent coffee shop that is now present on the Tacoma coffee shop scene! As you walk in, as the name implies you see a camping theme going on with camping chairs in the back to sit at and kind of a picnic idea in other parts. I really love Campfire's coffee and have bought a bag of their beans to make coffee at home. While sitting down in the morning it really feels and has the flavor of camping out. Very unique flavor profile! Campfire is very involved with the community and does beverage projects for example like with Wingman Brewing among other places. I love the coffee drinks here too! I've had the chai, vanilla lattes and some off of the menu that are more specialized. It doesn't seem to matter what you order at Campfire it's always great!

Honestly most of my experience with campfire coffee has been in the form of online orders because I reside in Seattle. We have been using their beans at home for a couple of years now and I can't say enough how much I love them! It is hands down my favorite coffee. It always brews smooth and bold and is consistent in quality. I recommend them any chance I get,. We also have several pieces of their merchandise including tin coffee cups, ceramic, and tumblers. Everything is great quality. My favorite piece of merchandise is a pair of leggings my husband bought me a couple years ago, they are simple black leggings with CAMPFIRE written down the leg and pockets for your cellphone. I own many pairs of leggings but they are my favorite which is totally random from a coffee place lol. We recently visited the shop in person and we're not disappointed by the latte and iced mocha we purchased, so delicious! Thank you Campfire Coffee for providing friendly & consistent products and service, my family will continue to be regular customers! read more

The ambiance was lovely but the toasted marshmallow cold brew I tried was very bitter and tasted nothing like marshmallow. I also tried a bagel bacon breakfast sandwich, the bacon was 90% fat and they use raisin bagels, was not appetizing. read more

Incredibly kind owner, adorable campfire inspired decor, and absolutely delicious coffee! I ordered the s'mores latte and the owner helped me customize it to my perfect sweetness level. i love campfire coffee, the atmosphere is so fun and the coffee is great! i also love buying their bags of beans to take home with me. only complaint is maybe get some comfier seating, as the fold out chairs aren't conducive to hanging out and working. the black camp chairs in the back corner are the best in the shop! read more

This place is dope. I have been here twice. Grabbed a couple drip coffees and pound of coffee for my mom. Solid brew for sure. I have been wanting to grab more coffee beans but they sell out quickly. I plan more trips in the near future... apparently real near future as my wife would like to go there Monday!! I am excited to check them out again for sure!! Good location and nice atmosphere but unfortunately my London Fog wasn't great. I had to ask for more syrup because it wasn't sweet at first, and it was super gritty (guessing it was loose leaf tea) so the first and last sips were unpleasant. read more

This place, I see why people are drawn to it, the aesthetics are really nice and cool very modern and camp vibes. But honestly my cup of coffee was horrible it tasted like two day burnt coffee. I was a barista for 4years and this was by far the best coffee I have had In a long time. I ordered a 12oz oat milk latte with a coffee bread. The oat milk didn't separate it was heated to a perfect drinking temperature, so I did not need to stare at it and wait for the drink to cool down. The coffee bread was okay, but the drink, THE DRINK so creamy and delicious my mind is blown. The space inside has some cute Instagram vibes, and the man who made my drink was welcoming and nice. Will definitely return, and this is literally my new favorite coffee shop. read more

This place is awesome. The coffee is very good and it is black owned, which is a big bonus! I am pretty picky about where I get food/drinks because of the pandemic, and it feels completely safe here. They take all the necessary precautions and they seem like they care. This is the only cafe I go to now! read more

It smelled good the minute you walk in! The decor reflects the name well. Lots of little goodies to have along with your coffee. The staff is so friendly and engaging!! We had some questions and they took the time to explain the campfire roasting process. Most importantly the coffee was AMAZING!!! If you like it on the sweet side, the toasted marshmallow latte is delicious!!! read more

The Sacramento location has it and I was definitely hoping to grab some here but I didn't see any on display or on the menu :( The milk cakes were thankfully just as good and super consistent between locations. We ordered the pistachio milk cake and the caramel milk cake (different pricing, depending on flavor probably). Both were incredibly moist, flavorful, and just really delicious. If you've never tried the milk cakes here, I definitely recommend them. They taste high quality, for sure, and a perfect treat for a sweet tooth. I had my husband try one for the first time since he likes caramel, and he immediately said it tasted so fancy he felt like he should be sticking his pinky out while eating it lol. I told him it *is* around $10 a slice, after all. We stopped by on a weekday afternoon and the parking lot was busy and the café itself was packed, so it definitely seems like a popular spot. They also have a points rewards program you can sign up for with just your phone number. I'll definitely be back for sweets again.

Lots of people working and plenty of space, the people working here are friendly and helpful and the coffee tastes good. Oh and the wifi is great. I think the baked goods are macrina!

I don't make it to this coffee shop too terribly often... usually we are also looking for baked goods to nosh on while going to coffee shops but here it's straight up coffee... and that is okay! Since my original review seating has increased some which is nice. My last two recent visits here I was able to stay and hang out a bit. The folks that run the register as well as the ones that make the drinks are super nice and friendly which definitely gives one the feeling that they value your visit!

Cold brew Coffee was delicious and strong and smoooth! I wish I remembered the name! Pastry was delicious. Ambiance is a corner spot, lots of space and seating if needing to sip and Relaxe or do some work. Parking is strictly on the street, I was lucky to find a spot right across. It is located only a 5-minute drive from the car museum. We got yummy Smashburgers (comes with chips) and fries at Canteen by Camp Colvos. For drinks, we got a couple of sodas at Canteen, a Willie Maize Hazy IPA on tap at the 7 Seas bar, and I tried a refreshing Lavender Patch (16 oz iced sparkling espresso with lavender syrup and yuzu lemonade) at Naomi Joe Coffee. They have some pinball machines, free water at the back, and a party room you can rent. As with most breweries, it is family-friendly. I love the laid-back and friendly atmosphere of this place. They sell cool merch and have a neat display in honor of the historic Heidelberg Brewing Company of Tacoma that dates back to 1912.

I was craving com tam (broken rice) and couldn't find a satisfactory place near my residence, so I drove all the way here to Tacoma.. and then I figured, I might as well order their Banh Xeo too! The photos online made it look so good, and it ended up tasting amazing! Slightly crispy and stuffed just enough with bean sprouts, meat, and other goodies. Perfect after drizzling some of the sauce over it. The Com Tam was also made well, and definitely hit my cravings with its classic ingredients. I ordered a Large Pho Bo Vien (meatball) for my son, and was sooo tempted to eat some myself. The broth smelled fresh and the noodles were cooked nicely. Decent portions for everything, too. I definitely need to return to try out more of their food. So far, it has made me one happy Viet gal :)
