Small batches of delicious roasted coffees paired with some scrumptious bakery items to enjoy while you relax in their large but cozy space. The staff is super friendly, and you can sit and people watch or make yourself a temporary workspace. They are perfect for the whole group or just the two of you. When we walked in, I felt like I had been teleported to Ballard or Greenwood up in Seattle. At least that's the vibe that I felt when we were there. It doesn't quite fit the Tacoma aesthetic but that's just one more thing that sets them apart from other Tacoma coffee shops. Super tight and precarious, and my car is a pretty averaged size SUV. You're better off street parking on the busy road it's on and walking. There's seating inside, but not tons. Limited options on a Friday morning that I went. Other than these (admittedly small) complaints, this is a nice coffee shop and I'd definitely stop by again next time I'm in the area. But the meat was just not right. It just didn't taste right. The flavors were off and the meat was kinda dry. The whole sandwich was pretty dry. It didn't come with mayo, but it was definitely needed. The sandwich was better after I added some Kewpie mayo at home, but that meat still wasn't right. The muffin was honestly the best thing I had. We finally got the opportunity on Sunday morning as we wanted some caffeine and some treats for our fur babies. The menu is concise and simple which is great as often times, too many options can be very overwhelming and hard to read. They have coffee, non-coffee drinks, energy drinks and even bubble tea! Additionally, for food they have banh mis, breakfast sandwiches, Blazing bagels, and other pastries. The barista here was very friendly and professional, she made sure to check that she got our order right and made sure to give our fur babies some treats. I love that they have special treats rather than Milkbones as our fur babies devoured them quickly! Even our picky girl who isn't keen on new treats but she loved it so much! Our drinks were made to perfection too, not too sweet and with four shots definitely helped us stay awake. They also have a reward system where if you order 7 times, you get one free which I think is great as other places make it purchase 9, 10, or even more.
