Horrible experience bought my first 2021 first owner and had so many things wrong in the first couple days down to a full floor replacement well should say We will be repairing the hole and laying the lino back down. You will in turn have transition strips in the doorways and sealant around your cabinetry. brand New trailer mind u 4 days old of finding and a large list of other thing wrong ... I regret going thru them and do not suggest it when I spoke up I was harassed by one of the so called managers who had the nerve to call and treat me horribly safety check before selling fail sold 2021 never used with hole in floor the door fell off shower falling apart cracks in the awning and eves and the list goes on very upset very rude people!!!!! read more

We bought our travel trailer from the Eugene, OR. location. When the walk through was done, the person who did the walk through did not demo the tv and when we got home with the trailer and tried to start the tv, the cable and piece the cable screws into was broken off. Originally we were looking at the different models, we liked this particular model, my husband noticed the cable hanging from the tv and the sales rep saw it as well. We contacted our sales manager who helped us with the sale and he handed us off to the warranty/service department to handle this complaint. Sam is the person who handled this situation. She went through the right steps on submitting a warranty claim. Sam called us and told us the warranty claim was denied. She assured us that she would contact the sales manager to resolve this issue. She informed us that they have a replacement tv for us. She was very professional to work with and resolved the issue and made us very happy! Thank you Sam! you deserve a raise!! read more

Liars and thieves, Told us 5 different prices finally agreed and then was told another price. We wanted to paid cash and were told me could get 90 days same as cash. We took the offer and when we went to paid off the credit union. They advised us that we owed interested from the date the contract was signed (2 1/2 weeks before delivery). Then after driving 3 1/2 hours to pick up the RV had to wait for 3 hours to take it home and no one would helps us purchase items in the store. Sales, financing and retail were horrible. This is one of the worse experiences we have ever had. I would of rather dealt with a "used car salesman". DO NOT do business with these people. When you send 10's of thousands of dollars, you don't except to be treated like garbage. I wish I could give them negative stars. Oh, yes bank advised us we paid 6000.00 over its worth. WORST Service experience ever!! We're told would have a diagnosis within 4-5 hours from dropping the rig off. Never got a call back!! Had to make all follow up calls for a week and were treated with arrogance and rudeness by both service manager and service advisor!! Absolutely NO communication or listening skills!! We're told on a 5 year old Open Range trailer that both the air conditioner and heating duct system would have to be replaced. There have been no reports of these kinds of issues with the manufacturer, Highland RV. We also asked they check thermostat/selector for the 3 different environmental systems and the question was totally sidestepped and ignored as if we didn't know anything!! We are not done talking about this lousy experience. To be fair, they had the good sense to not charge us for multiple system diagnostic fees. I'm a single mom of 3 kids and live full time in an RV. Our RV toilet broke and I had to make the hour drive to Camping World to attempt to buy a new toilet. Their website lists it at $195 with the option of in store pickup. When I got there the shelf price was $260. I point out the discrepancy to the cashier and she told me that she refused to honor the website price because it was company policy to encourage people to have items delivered to their houses. I looked at her perplexed and pointed out that the price included in person pickup. She stated that the only way I could get it for the website price was to leave, order it online and come back to pick it up in 24 to 72 hours. I walked out of the store without a much needed toilet and will never shop there again. Trying to scam people out of an extra $60 for no reason other than not paying online is bullshit. As a single mom, I didn't have the money for a new toilet to begin with. I didn't have the gas money to waste to drive two hours round trip. And now they expect me to make that drive a second time? Nope. Screw that. Now I have to order the exact same toilet off of Amazon and not have a working toilet for 3 days with 3 kids at home. read more

Took the time to drive over from Springfield to get propane. Took awhile to get someone to fill the tank, which wasn't a problem at all, but went to pay and found it was $3.99/gal! This is the highest I've had to pay anywhere. $2.79 in Springfield and less than $2/gal in Albany. Won't make that mistake again. read more

This store didn't have what we wanted but it had things we didn't know we wanted and Julio was very friendly and helpful. We boondocked in the parking lot overnight and it was very quiet after about 8pm until around 5:30 am when the truck traffic started up again on the frontage road. We didn't even hear the freeway traffic. read more

Been to a few Camping Worlds and this one stands above her rest. In addition to an amazing selection of everything you need (and don't need!), their service and attitude is top notch. We had a jack motor failure while traveling. After trying 3 different places in Salem and being laughed at for asking if we could fit in, we headed south. Camping World got us in at 8AM the next morning. It was already 230pm so we were happy. We swung by the store at 3pm just to shop and they installed a new Husky on the spot by not dropping the trailer and leaving here on our TV. We were on the road by 4- our trip saved. We've experienced some defects which caused us to bring our trailer back into them. It has been two months and they still haven't gotten back to us on what the solution will be. Unfortunately I find I have to rate Coburg, OR Camping World Service with one star for one particular service I had done there to fix a septic smell. Otherwise previous work I've had done has been acceptable. I am dissatisfied with a problem they worked on repairing an issue with septic odor coming from the toilet in my 1999 36' Discovery about a year ago. I thought they had completed the work as the smell issue was gone. However, tbe story is not over. I had the rig in storage for about a year. I had health issues last year and only used the rig for two weekend trips to the OR coast in April then Memorial Day weekend in 2018. Now the 2019 season has begun. I find that although the smell is still gone so that is very good, I find that the toilet was NOT secured to the floor securely. I find that the toilet seems like it has a slight tilt or rocking motion. The screw is not screwed in adhering it to the rig floor. It sticks out of the floor about an inch. I hope they back their service for this item when I take the rig in for the service manager to check out in the next week or two when I can get an appointment. I live locally. I will post the outcome of this toilet saga. read more

Took my 2018 trailer in for routine fridge inspection, to keep my warranty in good standing. Within hours I get a call from a gentleman in the "collision repair department" stating something has collided with my vinyl roof, tore it and the whole roof needs to be replaced. As I started to ask more questions he asked who my insurance company was. That was a red flag. He sent my pics, stated roof was soft and potential water damage and sent me a quote for over $5,000. I declined, called around and got second opinions. I wound up taking it elsewhere and also looked at it myself. It was a small clean slice in the vinyl membrane, maybe an inch long. The dealer where I bought it, saw it and said "very easy to patch with Dicor." Be VERY cautious with this Camping World. I felt they wanted to just make money off my insurance company. I am very disappointed in this type of service and they should be ashamed of this. Make sure you know what is broke before you trust them as know I have read many other posts. read more

Everything was taken care of efficiently, which is the most important. But what stood out beyond that was the service rep who took an interest in what I was planning to do. I don't even know where to begin. First of all, our shopping experience at the Coburg, OR store was awful. We waited for hours for our camper. We were charged for things that we should not have been charged for. The manager made a half attempt to make it right by refunding some of our money. 3 months later - 3 trips later. Our trailer is falling part. The slide out is tearing up the inside of the trailer, all of the decorative molding has fallen off during travel that also dented the counter top. On our last trip - some drain pipe broke under the shower which leaked water through out the entire trailer including the carpet. I have left 3 messages for the service department in Coburg - NOT ONE SINGLE PHONE CALL RETURNED. I called the Wilsonville service department. I was informed they don't work on my particular trailer - which is interesting since Camping World sells the trailer?? I honestly want to take the trailer back and get a refund back. On Saturday morning we drove to the Camping World dealership where they freed up a technician (Mel was great!) who found the problem, fixed it, and got is on the road within the hour. I submitted an initial review after purchasing my new rv at the Hillsboro store. I packed it up and spent the first two months on the Siletz River... fishing, crabbing and simply enjoying the September/October weather. Several minor issues revealed themselves over time - a slight leak in the awning, an overly spring-loaded door that had to be slammed shut, a leak under the sink, of which a 9"X9" pyrex dish is still catching that painfully slow drip. Unfortunately, it wasn't until day five when I noticed the problem. And yes, there is some bubbling in the linoleum, but it could have been much worse had I not been on the lookout for that particular problem. On my way to the next destination, I found a lighting issue, and one of the men left their sales station to come out and talk about a possible solution. I believe Hutchinson was his last name; don't remember his first name. We talked about a variety of issues related to new RV's, and it didn't cost me a dime. The time together was appreciated and it renewed my faith in people that simply wanted to be helpful, without expecting anything in return - except a thank you. I'm still bummed about that $500 gift card that never ended up in my hand, but I'll be over it soon. read more

We will never go here again. Come to find out, they charge way more than other businesses in town and they are dishonest and scammers. They told us we needed new brakes when we didn't. They wanted $1000. That sounded crazy expensive so we called around. We decided to take our trailer to Les Schwab after calling them and learning they would charge us $500. Saving $500 sounded pretty good to us. When Les Schwab did their inspection they found our brakes to be fine and then they didn't even charge us for the inspection. Les Schwab is the bomb! Their high pressure sales guy calls and tells me I need to replace it and it will be $965...I said no thanks and ttey charhed me $75 jyst to be nice. So, I took it to The RV store in Springfield. Low and behold...$82 fix. This place is a rip off. Call the RV store, great customer service and fair pricing. read more

We stopped for gas and Greg came over to the truck to let us know the hitch we had put on by another company was not put on correctly. Greg told us to go to the caping world right around the corner and he would make sure it was done right! Alonzo worked on the the hitch and got it put on correctly so we were safe to travel the rest of our journey. Greg Flippin was a great guy and was helpful while he was not even at work. This store seems to have high turnover of employees, we go there 3/4 times a year and it's always new people at the service counter. Whatever they sell you, get it in writing!!! We were sold a $1000 ruff repair and told to bring it in every 6 mos. to keep the warranty. Turns out there's no such thing. 2 yrs. later when we have a roof leak they fix the leak (crack in the sky light). They charge me 2 hrs. Labor @ $129 per hr. Plus $68 for supplies. Lastly, good luck calling the RV service desk, I can never get through, and they don't call you when your RV is finished either. We're going elsewhere!!! read more

I was so excited to stop here first when it came time to buy a trailer. We were ready to drop cash on the unit we wanted but to make that decision I wanted to spend the day looking at them with my family, talking it over at home, and coming back to buy. BUT!: We were given a young, inexperienced salesman who; bugged us continually about using the golf cart vs walking; said he had to stay by us because he had the keys and all the trailers were locked; didnt have the answers to many simple questions; kept telling us to come into the store for brochures; and again, seemed to have a hard time with walking the lot vs taking the golf cart because 'the lot is SO big'. Then he said 'brochure' one too many times and I told him I would appreciate it if he grabbed those for us and we would wait by a trailer. Then he said most of the trailers were open and to go ahead and check them out ourselves. This, after an hour of incompetence and poor salesmanship! We told him we weren't purchasing that day and it must have finally sunk in because when he went to get the brochures we had about 30 minutes to wander and then another young salesman came flying up on his golf cart, jumped out, and after trying the same spiel walked us back to the shop for brochures and that was that. So...when they offer for you to go back and get brochures, know that it means its time for you to go. Know that when they say the trailers are all locked, they are lying. Know that when they badger you to ride those stupid carts because the lot is SO big they are just being lazy. After we left we stopped at the place next door and received everything we asked for.....space to wander and answers to our questions...and got a way friendlier experience too. Our experience is with the service department only. Some background: we bought our Coleman travel trailer in Hillsboro at the Camping World there. We had no desire to go back there (but that's another review lol). Since all our warranty work had to be done at a Camping World, we opted for Eugene since it's the next closest location. Even though we took it in during the busy season for service (winter) they were able to get us in within a few weeks. They thoroughly went over all our (mostly) minor issues to make sure they understood them and appreciated that I brought a typed list for them to reference. While they had the trailer for a couple months, it was expected and not a problem for us. They worked us in on a Sat to come pick it up. When we got there we were delighted that the service manager came out and went over every single item from the list we gave them to make sure everything was fixed. We were satisfied with all the repairs. Then, a few months later when the trailer was a couple months outside of manufacture warranty, we identified a defect in the fresh water tank causing it to leak profusely. The service manager worked us in quickly (as it was in the middle of camping season) and then submitted a special request to the manufacturer to cover the replacement. He was prompt in following up (only a few days after dropping it off) and, To our delight, he managed to get it covered. It may be over an hour drive but we will certainly be taking our trailer back there for future service needs. read more

We had been told by several people to avoid camping world but decorated to check it out anyway. Came in looking for an RV. Greeted by a nice young man. Showed us a few, answered our questions, all was going well. We found one we really liked and our salesman said he needed to let us know that camping world, unlike any other RV company, adds in extra fees for a "prep" fee and "destination " fee. Stated the total was $1960. He said that "most people get pissed, so I wanted to be up front". We really appreciated that. We decided we wanted to buy the RV. Started paperwork and suddenly that $1960 fee became almost $6,000. He tells us he warned us and was honest. Nothing honest about an extra $4,000. They called it miscommunication. We left blown away by what happened. Several days later, realizing we really liked that RV we contacted our salesman and asked if they could split that $4,000 fee since they weren't honest. He said that was reasonable and would talk to his manager. He called 2 days later asking if we could come in and do paperwork. We asked about the fee and were told they couldn't split it with us. No thank you, we will go elsewhere. You and your company are dishonest and I will happily take my business elsewhere. And we did. Bought from guarantee and got s better deal. I'm glad we have one in town now. We have gone to the Redding Camping World and I thought the place was camping heaven for RV'ing! We finally went the other day and like the store just fine it's a CW and they have cool stuff to get for our trailer. It's just annoying that as soon as you walk in you feel like your being hounded by employee after employee! Like hello didn't you just hear the first person greet me and ask if I needed help and then not even a half a second later your hounded again like your a fish in a pond being reeled in! Let me walk in and take a look and shop! I like to do that by myself and if I need help I like to ask! Not get hounded by 5 different employees!!! I had been searching for a specific model travel trailer for a few months and was notified by RV Trader of a price drop on one at this location (500 miles away from where I live in CA). I wasn't sure about buying from a dealer so far away, but sent an email anyways to inquire about any additional "setup" fees like some dealers charge. Julio Trochez responded and told me that they don't and to call him if I had any additional charges. I called with some questions regarding out of state purchasing. He was very friendly and polite and said if I wanted to make an offer he would run it by his manager. So I did and it was accepted. We setup a pickup time and my daughter and I made a roadtrip a couple weeks later. Julio was extremely helpful and communicative throughout the process and though I was hesitant to purchase from a dealer so far away, it turned out to be a great experience.
