What a great experience we had today. We drove all the way from California to our Oregon house and stopped at this camping world right off the five freeway to buy a specific generator that was expensive and on sale. We had a misunderstanding about how the unit was going to be delivered but Tim Scott was so helpful in clearing the issue up. Tim and the manager went above and beyond tonight to make sure that the generator worked properly. We really appreciate this. We purchased a new camp trailer (2018) Picked it up on Saturday, March 17th, 2018. When we got home with trailer we noticed that the "cheat bar" used to attach the trailer to our pickup truck was left by the service department on the bumper of our truck. Luckily, nothing happened on our 40 mile drive with that but we were surprised. Then we looked and saw that the dent in the battery tray that we had asked to be fixed was still there. The next day, we opened the slide on the trailer and went in to start putting out stuff away. We noticed several issues with the trailer that needed to be fixed during this process. 1. The lining on each side of the slide out was not glued or stapled down so that it bowed out. 2. The shelf under the sink was not attached to the wall. There was about 1 1/2 inch gap. Shelf is unusable. 3. There is an issue with the way the screws are placed under the slide out which has caused a tear in the material under the slide out and damage to the floor. 4. The outside sink has a shelf and the support has staples sticking out along the left side. 5. There is glue leaking out of the exterior paneling in several spots. 6. There is dent on the rear end of the trailer with a scratch along with minor dings and scrapes. 7. The fender over the wheels on the driver's side was not screwed in properly and was loose. 8. Framework of the slide out is out of adjustment Since the facility that we bought the trailer from was closed as it was Sunday. We called Monday to talk about the issues with the trailer. They said that they would call back. No luck. Same story on Tuesday and Wednesday. We called the Corporate office and asked if someone could give us a call back. They created a case for us and told us that a regional manager would be in contact. On Thursday when we call in we are finally able to talk to someone. "JP" the sales manager was rude over the phone and told us that there was nothing that we can do other than use the warranty to get the repairs made. He preceded to tell us that all trailers are made poorly and that all will have damage even when you buy new. We asked if we could exchange it for one just like it that did not have damage. He said no that now that we have driven it off the lot it is considered "used" and does not hold the same value. We asked if we could get some of the money back that we paid for it since it was not what we paid for. He said no. We asked if we could return it and get a refund he said no. The next day, today, we brought the trailer in and showed Tim from the service department what was wrong with the trailer. I got a call from "JP" while we were there saying that he got information that we had called in to customer service that day and wanted to discuss. I told him that I was there and we could discuss in person. He came out and got my husband and I and brought us back to his office. We brought up the issues with the trailer and expressed our feelings of buying a brand new trailer with expectations that it would be in "new condition" but instead have a damaged product. He told us the the issues with the trailer are from the manufacturer and any replacements or monetary credits would have to be taken up with them (Keystone) I spoke with a representative from Keystone who confirmed that we purchased the product from Camping World and it was up to them to either replace the product or refund the purchase. JP said that he was not willing to do anything other than to fix the problems that we listed as approved by the manufacturer. He said that he would trade the trailer for another on the lot but not for the same value that we purchased it for as the camper that we just purchased is now considered used because it has been registered with the DMV. The whole customer experience with JP was horrific. He was rude, disrespectful, and belittling. He even asked my husband and I what we did for a living. Once we responded he said "Oh, you have never been in Rv sales?" We are now the owners of a Brand New Trailer, that we paid a lot of money for, that is damaged. With all the repairs that need to be done the value is further diminished. There will be no resolution on the part of Camping World. read more

Went in with the family to look at RVs after deciding on one and seeing the price clearly marked on the refrigerator of the RV I went with the sales person and when I was sat down I was told it was going to be almost a $5000 charge on top of the price of the RV do to set up and shipping what a joke we walked out. read more

We took our coachmen in for repairs under our extended warranty. Savy Caballero was our service adviser, she went out of her way to make our visit exceptional . they fixed a problem with our ac unit that another company told us they would have to replace We are extremely happy with camping world for the time we arrived till​ we left. Horrible experience with their service department! Traveling thru Eugene and blew a tire that resulted in the rear axle bracket shearing off the back axle. Called their Coburg location to see about towing the 5th wheel for repair. Was told that since it was after 5pm the "service department is closed for the day" and there was nothing they could do. Was advised there was no place to store the disabled trailer and that it could not be towed there... that we would have to wait until morning to contact the service department. So much for emergency roadside assistance. Do yourself a favor and use Guaranty in Junction City. We were able to get it to them IMMEDIATELY and they have a safe lot if the repairs take longer because of parts, etc. Contacting Good Sam as well....they need to know that emergency roadside assistance is only available thru this business if you are lucky enough to have problems during normal business hours!! read more

I have to say that the experience at camping world was amazing. I worked with Chris who is there internet manager. He was very quick to get me the information I requested and set an apt to look at the trailers I had interest in. As we worked threw the deal I was turned to Derek who worked very well with our family and our needs by ensuring that he valued our time spent there. Sometimes I had to run and didn't have a lot of time and he was very understanding. The Finance Managers were very respectful along with there Sales Manager. Overall a fantastic experience and will work with them in the future and ensure to send people there way. My sister and both bought brand new travel trailers this week. We went to Camping World because my sister had never been there. We were interested in the Sleep Number RV matresses. The customer service was terrible. There were 3 people there and we couldn't get proper assistance. One female clerk at least tried, we asked for the remote and an overpaid gentleman said he had found it and wasn't sure where it was now. He didn't make any attempt to look for it. We were asking about the mattress and he was really uninterested in helping us. We will look elsewhere after that experience and spend our money where we can get decent customer service. read more

Stopped in to get advise on an issue I was having with my converter. Small green light was blinking instead of being on solid green. I also lost battery power from my two 27 cell batteries. The temporary Service Manager was very polite but admitted he was in-charge of the body shop and that the manager in-charge of the mechanical section was off work. He came out and admitted that he did not have the knowledge to explain why the light was blinking. He went back into the shop area where a technician told him that the blnking light was and indicator that the convertor was charging my batteries. I call Keystone directly when I got home who stated that the binking green light indicated that the convertor was not operating properly. The light has nothing to do with indicating if the convertor is charging my battery. Wish the actual technition who said this had came out to look at my rig. Will admit, they were backed up and very busy but it appears the technition did not have knowledge of what the Service Manager had explained to him. read more

Buy your coach somewhere else! Look at the reviews, they are true. I am living the nightmare that other people are complaining about online. Worst rv company o have ever dealt with. They keep your rig way too long, they won't call you or even call you back until you complain to management, they make excuses for there lack of customer service and then tell you that you are wrong or that you are stupid for expressing to them that you shouldn't have to wait two months to get your rig back. TRUST ME WHEN I TELL YOU TO TAKE YOUR CAMPER SOMEWHERE ELSE. THESE GUYS ARE SCAMMERS AND SCUM BAGS! After I went to go pick up my trailer after 2 months, the damn thing was filthy like they had been using it and to top it off, the manager opens his wallet and tries to hand me $20 to go to the pay and spray and clean it myself. Lately i have been shopping for a travel trailer. So I thought I'd go to camping world they have a million units on site so only makes sense. I could kick a lot of tires and not walk that far. To make a long story shorter. I bought a used 2016 trailer and was going to take it home 3 days later. During that time period the camping world wed site updated their inventory. Well the trailer was advertised but not at the price the sales man quoted us. As a matter of fact it was less than our agreed price. So I guess the deal we hammered out was worthless and the sale was halted. When I called and explained the situation they said sorry but that's the price now. The salesman the fiancé manager and I assume they're bosses all took they're shots at me. And then the attempts at stealing $1100 from me for something they called prep? What prep ?the only thing done was documents to show I already did they're work. Ok i owe them for 4 sheets of formed paper! again i said I not starting over with you I'm killing it. Must have said something bad ?? I had every whiner that works there comming to the poor sales man aide. Anyhow i bolted with $30000 in my pocket. And no trailer. Today i went to George Sutton on 7th st and hwy 99. There it was so nice to feel as I was being told facts that were true and that they would stand behind anything they stated. Monday I get my new trailer delivers and its way nicer than camping worlds used trailer for $1800 more. I will never return there and will tell everybody I know that same thing. Crooks maybe ?? An online search located a used travel trailer at this location. I emailed requesting more info. and Chris called the next day. He promptly gathered all the information I needed, put me in touch with Brandy in finance who kindly & quickly got me approved. I added an electric tongue jack and Equal-Izer sway device and I drove the 475 miles from Reno to Coburg the following day to check it out. The service/inspection staff was ready for my 9:00 a.m. walk-through and all the necessary paperwork was in place. Jose, Jack & Billy did a great job of patiently educating me on the operation and made sure I was comfortable with all the details. The entire process from initial email contact to pulling out the driveway was pleasant and unhurried. The trailer is perfect for me. So glad I made the drive! read more

Re: Service department: Took our RV there on the 16th, to repair two things. They talked us into a bunch more things. Said it would be 3 days for parts to arrive, and they would call as soon as it was ready. Called on the 23rd to see where it was in the repairs, as we wanted to take it out on Thursday for the Memorial Day weekend. No answer to our call. Called the 25th, the girl at reception said a technician was at that moment "running out to the lot" to check the progress. A couple hours later he calls and said they ordered the wrong parts, "forgot" to order the new parts, and the other repairs had not been started. They promised to "try their hardest" to get it all done by the end of the day Friday. Since we wanted to leave on Thursday, this was not acceptable to us. We had taken the RV there in what we assumed would be plenty of time to fix at least the 2 things we wanted fixed. We picked up our RV and were charged the "diagnostic" fees. They told my husband the wrong amount to write the check, and called us that evening and wanted us to bring the balance the next day. They did not want us to mail it in. We are supposed to get the parts they ordered, and will have someone else install them. Will not be using them again. read more

Wow I dont even know where to start. I wish now I started with reading some of these posts/reviews about Camping World of Eugene in Coburg Oregon.Before purchasing our 2018 Heartland Fuel. That would of saved me from getting an ulcer and staying awake at night for the last 2 weeks. feeling like I got ripped off and Lied too. Let me start. I will let you know the big headaches. The listed price and the price we ended up actually paying was over $10,000 more. $10,178 to be exact. Camping World charges over $4,100 for delivery trailer to the lot. You pay that. we found paperwork from the manifactory that the freight cost is $1,500. Wow big difference. Camping World charges a set up fee of over $1.500. I asked what that includes they said to fix any defects from the factory and to wash and fill up the tanks (which includes gas.) I asked twice about the fuel. After signing the fuel was not filled up I ask and the said they only do a few gallons.They must of be blind or did not look for any defects in my opinion. When we got home after purchase we noticed the front outside light strip was coming undone and the kitchen faquet was leaning not attached underneath the counter. We called and they said to use silicon the reattach the light strip and the retighten the bolt under the faquet. It just came unloose. We only drove it 10 mile to home. It was highly recommended to purchase a 7 year warrentty. Which which we did for $3800.00 I dont know why now. The next morning we were putting some stuff in our trailer and notice a crack in the counter top in the kitchen, some other little defects and the shower around the tub the whole shower there is a big gab Its not sealed at all. Dont think we can use the shower with out it being sealed. We called about the shower and still waiting for a call back. I have photos which I could add here And finally the trailer does not come with a water hose or s septic dump hoses, those are extra. It also does not come with a ladder for the back 6 foot high bunk. Thanks for Doug our salesman fighting for us. Got us one. Doug was the only Positive thing in this whole experience. The rest is a zoo. Told one thing and did another. If you are reading this Sorry for such a long review. But I had to tell someone about our whole camping world experience. What a terrible experience I had from the sales person at Camping World. I contacted the sales person that said they were responsible for selling a used rv product. They had just left work, but told me they would meet me in the morning and sale me the item. I was assured the item would be held for me and I arrived at the earliest time the sales person would agree to meet me. When I arrived at the 8:40 am appointment, the good deal was just sold to another person. I had tried to meet earlier with this person, but he couldn't. I have cancelled all Camping World/ Good Sam products because of the untruthful manner in which I was treated. I was treated like I didn't matter. I will never buy an RV from Camping World again. Their Service Department is terrible. Incredibly unorganized. Dropped RV off on Saturday to fix pilot light. They were supposed to call me on Monday to let me know when it would be finished. I didn't get a call until the Friday following, to let me know my part was in-? They let it sit all week and didn't even know they had it. They fixed it on that Friday, but had a similar experience previously. Warranty to work can only be done by them, so we are stuck. read more

I had an awesome experience @ the eugene location. My husband and I had originally applied for a travel trailer at Sutton rv and had the worst customer service ever! I won't go into details but I just can't imagine them staying in business with their lack of customer service skills. Anyhow my brother in law referred us to camping world in eugene where he had just purchased a 5th wheel and the experience went really well. I called camping world and spoke with Chris Jackson. Chris was amazing! He didn't rush to get off the phone and he kept in touch with me every step of the way. Exactly one week after speaking with Chris about what exactly I was looking for, we were pulling out of their parking lot with our brand new heartland mallard. Chris even called me a week later to see how we were enjoying our new trailer. I Definetly recommend this location to anyone looking for a new rv. Thank you Chris Jackson for all your help. buyer beware...just recently upgraded our class a motorhome. bought from camping world after hearing a neighbor describe their bad service experience on a brand new class a. we gave them a shot anyway. neighbor couldn't have been more right. our salesman was of course, our "best friend". promised to have some things I noticed fixed by their service department and a small body repair done when we picked up the motorhome after having Camping World "detail" it for our pick up a week later. During our walk through, out of our list of 10 minor things, 2 were done. We went ahead and brought it home with the knowledge that we would have to take it back for the body repair. Upon calling the body shop, who had no knowledge of the needed repair, they got us in immediately and put a rush on the repair. I would highly recommend the body shop manager, Jose, but beware of the service department, you will get the run around. read more
