Received a quote to buy our RV for around 40k. After their inspection received a quote for 20k. They claimed they found many things in the inspection that weren't actually broke or defective. They were however correct on several others that need attention. It's a used camper not brand new as their inspection process seems to imply. There is certainly not 20k difference in the items that need addressed. Wasted my time and my fuel to get there and back twice. I don't buy a used car expecting it to look brand new. read more

Soo, I understand the thought of documenting potential buyers in a system to help make a sell, and perhaps find what the customer is looking for. I don't understand when asked why they ask for your license, phone and email, the answer is, " because we have to know everyone on the property in case something happens". I followed up with stating we have already visited 2 other Camping Worlds and have given all of that information. The response was a rude spoken response of "because we have a fence". Buyers Beware. I purchased a Volante 25 RL July 2023 brand new from Camping World in Huber Heights, Ohio. One year later, taking over a $9,000 loss, I wholesaled the trailer back to Camping World since I refused to sell this travel trailer to another individual or family. I see that Camping World simply placed the trailer back on the site the same day for $40,999 to the general public which is more money than I paid for it brand new last year ....This is also sixteen thousand dollars more than what they paid to buy it back from me. Such a despicable company. Unfortunately this trailer was in the repair shop for more time than I ever was able to use it in the one year that I owned it. It has had the kitchen sink, the bathroom sink,theatre seating pull cables, awning, the slide cable, slide seals falling off, the slide carpet, the shower fan, crooked breakers, mislabeled fuse box, the stove, window blind pulls, etc...repair issues ... But the most concerning was a wobbly toilet. It was discovered that Keystone had cut too wide a hole in the floor under the toilet and therefore the toilet flange bolts had nothing to bite into. Keystone and Camping World played me as the monkey in the middle and refused to adequately repair. When I brought my travel trailer in for repair work July 2024, I was told by a service technician at Huber Heights Camping World that my roof had a hole and needed to be replaced for $8,000. Once Camping World figured out that a Camping World technician at a different location had dropped a tool while replacing the shower fan creating the hole in the roof membrane... Then I was told that the roof hole could just be patched. I've been directly lied to in my face by several service technicians. The GM offered to sell me a new camper at cost and I drove for 2 and 1/2 hours only to discover that was a lie too. I will never give Camping World another penny of my hard-earned money EVER! When I bought my travel trailer from Camping World I was told I had to pay $1,695 for a PDI (pre delivery inspection) walkthrough which obviously wasn't done with as many issues that the trailer has ... I was also charged $325 for a single battery and $899 extra for a hitch. So when I say buyers beware.... take heed. Do not waste your hard-earned money or be deceived by this unscrupulous company. I am a older person and this was my teacher retirement savings that I spent in order to enjoy the latter years of my life and instead it has been one of the worst experiences I have encountered. Trust no one at Camping World...And whatever you do...DO NOT buy stock number 2440684P... It has a hole in the roof membrane and too wide of a hole cut in the floor under the toilet. We were traveling to a KY campground that doesn't offer late arrivals. We would not make the check in time. I called Camping World of Georgetown & was immediately accommodated with an overnight place to park, plug in, and use the dump station. While this is a normal perk of purchasing from Camping World, I'd like to note, I called just before closing time & the service dept had already closed. The girl who answered went above & beyond to make sure we had approval from management to stay overnight as well as walk me through where to go upon arrival since I'd arrive after closing time. Even the overnight cleaning crew was thoughtful & made sure to announce themselves so we were not startled setting up! read more

After visiting our central Kentucky CW location a few times, I must update my review. Lets start with pricing... they send out frequent emails announcing sales. BEWARE that the prices online do not match the store prices. I mean, I get the fact that they have a brick and mortar building to upkeep, but I personally think it's misleading. On to the service department, which they should call the "lack of service department". Let me start by saying, we didn't buy our RV there. So, I get it if they're trying to service their customers, but they should just say that. Because blatantly lying and saying that they'll return the call is unacceptable. Back to the story, so, after being told "john doe" (I won't name actual names) will call back, we wait a few days after said quoted days. Meanwhile it rained and the leak just got worse. Finally, a few days after the quoted days, my husband stopped by to pick up a few items and asked for "John". What do you know, he was face to face with him. He started giving every excuse possible as to why he didn't return the callS. Shew, I'm glad we detected the unprofessionalism and shadiness BEFORE we left our RV for repairs. read more

I currently went into camping world this rainy morning trying to order a thermostat for my 2013 camper. I first went straight to the back counter and was rudely met by a guy with a few piercings. I felt like I was being talked down to by a guy who boasted about only scheduling and booking appointments. Then he proceeded to borate me and tell me he couldn't help me with a part or question with a particular part because "it took money out of his pocket." That sortof response doesn't make me feel welcome. He then proceeded to brag about how they charge $190/hr for tech. No sir, you only book and schedule appointments. money does not come out of your pocket. last time I checked, i schedule most of my appointments through a website. I then proceeded to wait at the parts department for a while with no answer. tick tock, tick tock. it was a good 10 minutes before someone even showed up and when he finally did, he was again rude and talked down to us like we were dumb. Sorry sir, if I knew the answers, I wouldn't be asking questions. He then took my phone while I was trying to show him a picture and he was pretty aggressive with it. Pounding on it hard with his little fingers. I was honestly appalled and felt very uneasy in the situation. This guy had a very colorful tattoo on his right forearm. I just wanted to have a nice experience after getting out of the rain and gloom of this morning but instead, Camping world of Georgetown made my day even worse! Brought my travel trailer to sell after being given a quote and driving two hours. I was then given a report wanting to charge me to replace a brand new battery, in which was a lipo 100ah but that wasn't the stock one so deductions, they went on to tell me because it was painter they had to replace all the wall boards and that was 5k!!! Bought a travel trailer camper. We paid a good amount for this brand new camper. The first time we took it out the AC kept shutting off. We did not get a good nights sleep because the camper got so hot. It happens during the day too so we cannot leave our dogs in it for long because the AC shuts off and the camper heats up. It took forever to get an appointment and then we had to take a Saturday and drive it down and another one to pick it back up. They couldn't find anything wrong with it. The issue continues to happen making the camper unusable in warm weather. What a waste of money! Very disappointed! read more

This place is a ticking time bomb. Aggressive and hostile sales people who refuse to wear masks and are looking to pick a freedom fight. Lazy ladies in front who get annoyed by customer questions and are quick to tell you to wait for someone else to answer. Shockingly, the service department is so honest they turn you away from getting anything done because they "don't have the right skills" on staff. Shut it down and clean house. Buyer beware of the parts and service dept. We needed a brake controller done. Called them up and THANKFULLY they were booked until mid August. Yeah you heard that right. It is 6/16. Sounds like they need more help. Well they quoted me one hour of labor. So I started doing some research. The brake controller is actually plug and play, harness right there on the Jeep and the job is literally a 5 minute job in which they were going to charge me $130 for an hour. YouTube and google are your friends. Watch out for those labor rates and times quoted. Do your research. read more

I only went here to dump my tanks and get water. I called to ask if they had a dump station. The woman who answered was so friendly and replied, of course, you're welcome to it! When I got there a friendly and helpful forklift driver, escorted me to the dump station. That kind of service for a person who didn't buy anything! I know I was not going to spend $80,000 in the cubicle area but would have been nice to have service to help narrow down features and prices. But Lowe's got that purchase-- no help there either. My wife purchased a unit from Steven Garcia and we have had multiple small issues with it plus a nice size leak in a window and have water POURING in.... They one time sent a rep out to repair the leak. (The leak STILL is there) Steven recently sent an email explaining that his help has concluded even though the repair was not actually repaired. He wants us to bring the unit to them when it's on our out of state property as a vacation retreat. I called the dealership and their Rep Ruth hung up on me when I insisted her get in touch with the GM. In the many calls, he's rarely there onsite at the dealership. The receptionist would not send me to the GM's VM, only to Steven's again. Concerning how they have no ownership in their faulty and incompetent "repair." Worried what kind of mold is growing due to their lack of integrity. They have been far from helpful, once they get their money they disappear. We will never buy another RV from a camping world after this experience. read more

Poor Service. After an oil change we were on the road continuing our trip and the oil pressure gauge began running high, checked oil level and it was way to high. Called Kenny Brock at the service counter, explained our issue and tried to coordinate stopping at the next Camping World on our route to have oil drained. He called back and said the service department was closed at the store coming up. He said we could get it fixed anywhere and he'd cover the bill. It was now after hours and we made it home. Later I take it my local shop, after multiple unanswered emails and calls (really, out to lunch at all hours of the day?) Kenny Brock again says they'll take care of it. They never did after repeated attempts to contact. Spec for my engine is easily googled at 6.5 quarts oil capacity. My shop drained almost 9 quarts. read more

I took my Class C to Georgetown KY to have them look at my slideout that was leaning to one side when let out. I open it to show them inside were there was light showing from the outside because of the lean and pointed it out to them from the inside. They took it into the shop bay. It took them 15 min. and gave it back to me and stated they will send me and estimate by email. When I got home and pulled out my slideout, to my surprised the panel next to the light, that was shining through from the out side, that I showed them was severely damaged. There was no reason for them to touch that panel. The panel was pulled from the wall, which had staples attached to the rubber. The rubber is full of holes and the panel an the rubber strip is hanging half way up the wall. I call the CEO and complain. They gave me the run around. After so many calls. They told me, they called Georgetown and The shop supervisor told them " They didn't do it and that they told me they could not fix my slide out problem". LIES.... CEO told me "Because the shop supervisor said that, they will not responsible and that I should have insurance." My insurance doesn't fix damage done in a shop. So, they didn't fix my slideout and on top of that, it will cost me $1,028.90 to fix the damage they cost and all I wanted was can you fix the leaning and if so give me a price. If anything people, when you have them look at you RV. Don't let them take it into the bay unless they are going to fix the problem and check behind them before taking it off there lot. The one thing that really bothers me, is that I told them before they took it into the bay, was "TAKE CARE OF MY BABY". Also, the CEO didn't believe me. RUN people run and if you don't run. Just be on guard when taking your expensive property to them. It may cost you unnecessary money, too no fault of yours. RUN don't walk. Also, I don't live in Los Angeles, CA. I live in KY. read more

This Camping World was very good at the beginning when they first open they was helpful friendly do whatever they could for you now the parts counter service is rude crude and socially unacceptable if you didn't buy your RV or camper from them or it's over 10 years old they don't want you there they want you to buy their other stuff the consumer products that's on display checkout is very friendly they welcome you when you enter and they are very helpful at the checkout parking is plentiful a little scary sometimes if you got your shopping cart on the hill but if you need a consumer product that you can't find anywhere else stop in don't order online either they record everything and if you say one word that's wrong and they send you what they think you meant you have to pay return shipping if you can find what you want somewhere else at another camping supply establishment shop at it. Not sure where to begin. They have not been truthful on anything. I needed a trailer for my husband to quarantine in due to the fact he is an essential worker. After picking out a trailer online I went to the dealership to do a walk through and sign the papers. The staff did not and would not wear masks as required for business to be open. I was given a time to show up at 3:30. I arrived about 3:10 so I could see what else I would need. They immediately took my credit card to pay the down payment. then I was told just to wait, and wait and wait, finally after about 30 minutes one of the employees took me through the walk through. Everything seemed fine except that the unit was very dirty from being outside and needing to be cleaned from winterizing. This I was told would be done. I did notice that the trim on the front looked odd to me so I took a closer look, and it appeared that due to the dirt and that there are little lites in the trim it made the trim looked pieced. nothing else was on the front of the unit except for the dirt. I then had to wait and wait and wait, all the while no one was keeping social distancing or wearing masks. Then I was told to go through the store with a lady to help me get the extra supplies I would need. I paid for all of that and put the supplies into the car and then still had to wait and wait and wait. Finally a little before 6 the sales manager had me come into his office to sign the papers. The agreement was that when I received the check from our lender I would get it to them, in approximately 3 days This was a Friday, on Monday I got a call wanting a personal check stating they didn't want to wait for the lender check. I told them no. The lender check showed up later that day and we let them know I could get it to them the next day. They did not want to wait and sent a salesman to my house to pick it up without informing me that anyone was coming to my house. The unit arrived Wednesday after I had to wait and wait to find out if it was even going to show up. The trailer was not washed on the outside at all, and there is remnants of travel stickers on the front of the trailer that were not there when I did the walk through. The lines and tank had not been flushed from the winterizing chemicals, there are at least pieces missing from the window coverings, and there are no keys to the door. This is all I know that is wrong or missing at this point. After several attempts at calling to rectify the situation, there are still no keys for the door, they did not want to retrieve the unit to clean it stating that my husband would be here too soon, and no one is taking any responsibility for anything. In addition, a friend who owns travel trailers states that even though he likes the trailer and its layout it is not a new trailer but a used one. The papers we signed and all their advertising stated this was a new trailer. I called corporate customer service and was told that they didn't deal with those things and that I needed to call the dealership. On Camping Worlds website there is a picture of their CEO Marcus Lemonis with the statement "If you aren't happy, I'm not happy" right next to his picture. Really, obviously that is not the case. All I know is that my husband cannot stay in the trailer in the condition it is in safely. This is pretty sad due to the fact that he has always put his life on the line for the safety of others. read more

I have never been SO disgusted by a company and it's business practices. I need supplies to finish restoring an old camper, caulk, vinyl tape ect...and spent almost $110. When I got home I realized the 3 tubes of white caulk were wrong and I pick up black and beige. I returned to the store the next day to exchange them. NO PROBLEM I'm told at the counter just get the correct ones. This is where it turns UGLY. Do you have your receipt?.... No I'm just exchanging these for the correct color, she rings them in and they ring up for significantly less than what I paid for the day before.....I question this and I'm told the price went up yesterday morning....Ok I purchased them in the evening and paid the current price.....then I'm told I had to pay the difference to get the correct product. $10.50 MORE. I should have taken the originals and gone home to get the receipt, but I had to have them. I was very calm but I signed the CC receipt with a FoUr letter word and a sheep. Now day 3, I take both receipts back to CW and the coward behind the counter that tried to screw me the day before ran for the back room and did not come back, a new sales girl asked if she could help me and I showed her the receipts and gave her the short story. She was very confused why they would do that.....we double checked all the prices and made sure they was correct. Now for my refund, as she rings everything up a very young man comes out and stands beside her and starts staring at me. I ask if I can help him and he tells me He's the "acting" manager.....I grin to myself and say yes, you are "acting"...I ask the "acting" manager if he is aware of the mistakes his company has made ....(crickets)....I then ask why he is not the one ACTively not fixing the problem....at this point he looks like a scared virgin at the high school prom. My sales associate savor gives me the refund and as I go to sign the receipt it's still not right but this time to my favor, I explain I'm not trying to screw the company like they tried to do me the day before... "ACTING" manager tries to crawl under the desk. My savor says don't worry and have a great day sorry for the problem. read more

I purchased a Jayco North Point 5th wheel in February the Georgetown Kentucky dealership. When I took delivery the trailer was missing the parts to the outdoor kitchen grill. I have sent repeated emails to the service manager Shawn Smith to get this resolved and it has fallen on deaf ears. I have sent repeated emails to multiple people at the dealership and still no replies. Is this the way a customer gets treated at Camper World?? Once you get the sale complete and the customer takes delivery you forget about them? I'm very disappointed in the level of service I have received after the sale. read more
