Buyer beware- I bought this camper ( first time buyer ) from what I thought was a reputable dealer. When you buy from hear there will be about a $1300 charge on top of you negotiating price to prep the camper, after agreeing to a price and getting financing approved they move you onto the service end, I was told they did a thorough inspection including a leak test and inspection of the operation of all appliances etc , when I did my walk through with the service dept the service technician showed me the trailer operation and told me what he found including a leak in the back of camper with he fixed and some small little things, he also let me know that the awing was ripped when they were cleaning camper and I should get the sales dept to pay for it which after they tried to get me to pay half of they agreed to fix it , I had concerns about the floor of the camper being soft by the door but was reassured that the was was good and dry and the little hump in the floor was from in being cut a little to big when assembled, and if it was wet and soft it would be sunken in , when I checked the camper again for leaks the floor was crunching like breaking ice confirming my thoughts, I have tried contacting Paul the sales manager who assured me in 15 mins I would receive a call back never happened, I called service the next day and was told they wanted to talk to the technician and would call by 1pm , never called (3) days later I called my salesman who went to the sales manager again who was going right to service manager but never received a call back, I know have to pay my lawyer to take care of this issue because camping world is a scum dealer to deal with .. so buyer beware when dealing with camping world - research the reviews like I should have read more

We bought our new trailer here at Camping World of Uxbridge. Everything was super fun going around and looking at different trailers with Stanley. We picked one out and went to meet with Theresa in the finance department. This is where things went sour. She clearly doesn't know what's she's doing. She messed up our paperwork, undercharged us and over charged us for things we didn't want. We had to drive back to resign the paperwork because she screwed it up. Our sales person was not helpful at all once we signed our paperwork because "the deal was done". God forbid you ask him to find an answer to something on a day off! Now on to the service department.... Pulled up today to pick up our trailer. Service department had no idea that they were supposed to install our trailer hitch that we bought when purchasing the trailer. Our sales person Stanley, clearly can't be bothered communicating with the service department that it needed to be done. Hitch wasn't t in stock. They left my husband sitting there for almost and hour before letting him know it wasnt in stock. They had to send someone to go get one from another location. The only reason I gave this dealership 2 stars, is because they gave us a $100 store gift card for our troubles. Please run far away from this dealership if you can!!!!! read more

Bought a brand new 22 trailer 30 ft. Laura. our salesperson was excellent. By golf cat took us to see all trailers that filled our needs. Walked in an out of each with us and then took a video to send back to us Incase we forgot details. Yes we did buy a 5 year warranty. Having had a used trailer in the 70's never again would to that. We took it out for 3 short trips in the fall to make sure all was working. Silly things like the string on the shade but no biggies. We did take back to be winterized. We did order a washer/dryer which was installed on that return for maintenance- but then The company Ventura put out a recall on the propane regulator. Camping world would not release back to us as it was a safely issue. My husband called the company that makes the regular , had a different regulator sent out only to find out camping world went above and beyond to get the correct one. There were 2400 such veichles waiting for this part All is good now. We have already made a few reservations and look forward to summer 22. Planned on Florida but Covid makes me crazy. I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had and service we received while purchasing our new travel trailer this weekend. Kevin our salesman was knowledgeable and not pushy whatsoever. He gave us the time we needed to make the best choice for our family. When it came time to do our final walkthrough, Tom was extremely thorough, very knowledgeable, and friendly. He made sure to not only go through everything with us but asked us if there was anything else we were curious about along the way. Kyle and Mark in the service department were wonderful to work with as well. Kyle listened to any questions and concerns we had and solved them right away. My husband and I were very impressed with the amount of care Mark took when adjusting our hitch to tow our new camper. We could really tell he enjoys his job and his attention to detail was better than any service we have dealt with anywhere, and we've been campers for a long time. Anyone looking to purchase a camper should definitely go see them. They did not disappoint. Do not buy a camper or anything for that matter from Camping World in Uxbridge, MA. I have had the worst experience since stepping foot on their property. It all started when my wife and I stopped by to look at some slightly used campers. We had actually done our homework and looked for a few via their website. We picked one out and then there was the whole "How much can you afford for a monthly payment?" deal. We had a used camper to trade in, so I gave them a figure. Then the finance guy states that the payment will be $X. Pressured us to sign for this payment on a piece of paper. Reluctantly, I signed. We go to pick up the camper via an appointment that we were told would be to sign papers and take camper home. What a joke that was. We sit down with a different finance resource and the payment is completely different than what I had signed the evening of picking our camper. It was actually less, so wasn't too disappointed. Just disappointed in the forcing of me signing on a number that didn't align with the final figure. So now we think we can take the camper home. Ha Ha Ha. Head outside the service center to find that the camper is not ready. It didn't have the hitch that we had purchased with the original paperwork even though I had a hitch on the my old camper that they said was not good for the new camper. What a joke. So, now we go through the walkthrough, which because we are experienced campers, they said was not completely necessary. Also signed some paperwork that they took us through it which cost us $400. What another joke. We then notice that this 2021 camper had issues with the stabilizer jacks, so we request that they are fixed. We also noticed that there were some issues we brought up the day we looked at the camper and committed to purchase that were not fixed. This included some sealing around the tire wheel wells. So, we state we want them fixed and what a hack job they did that evening we picked up the camper. Then there was no paperwork with the camper as well as no extra key. At this point, they needed to fix the wheel well sealant, stabilizer jacks (replaced 2 of 4) and add the stabilizer hitch we purchased. It was a work week night, so I state, I will be back tomorrow to pick up. Ha Ha Ha. So, I show up the next day and the work is still not completed by the time they said it would. Also the service manager stated he would get me a extra key. Still have not received that key to date (almost 2 months since purchase). And finally, the ultimate disappointment. We get our trailer (After finally all the issues addressed) to our new seasonal site. I check the sewer and its full. I am assuming it had been full since last season as it was early (early April when we first committed to purchasing) in this season. I am still dealing with trying to completely flush the black tank out. I have tried some bio degradable stuff to break it down better, but it still doesn't seem to want to completely empty. Oh, and when I reached out to Camping World regarding this, they said to bring it in to them. It was already set up over 1 hour away at our seasonal site. Completely disappointed with Camping World and will never step foot on their property again. Buyer beware. read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE!! Me and my wife are looking for a motorhome and have been saving up and working on my wife's credit for a long time now. We have 15K saved and got my wife's credit to 720. The salesman Robert Burgo was terrible. When we walked in before showing us any rvs or trailers he demanded credit checks, to which we obliged happily. Before he ran our credit we asked him if it would affect the score and HE SAID IT WOULDN'T. He lied of course and came back with more lies, he then told us that my wife's credit score was 600 and he wouldn't be able to help us. We later checked her credit to find that it is still in the 700s and their check DID affect her credit score by 4 points. Horrible treatment by management. I was expected to call repeatedly and chase people to get product and pricing. The "attitude" was ... "you need me and therefore I will make you call multiple times and pay highest possible price for what you need". The customer service person I initially worked with was great, but they kept referring me to a manager to get pricing for furniture purchase and install. Manager would not take call or return my call to get pricing for purchase. I ended up going elsewhere and got answers on first attempt. Terrible attitude with management... Wow, what a disappointing experience, I purchased a new fifth wheel after the paperwork was signed the run around began, in the purchase agreement I had to drop of my new $97000.00 pick up truck to have fifth wheel hitch installed, having a short bed truck I needed a special hitch Being a camper dealer one would think they would have experienced with this I was wrong, long story short after a month in a half I was told I could come get camper, hitch was installed wrong upon arriving the manage asked to speak with me the installed hitch wrong damaged my truck which I since traded in, because it was ruined and auto body shop said it would never be right, what a night mare run away fast as fast as you can. read more

I received a recall notice from REV RV on my 2021 Holiday Rambler Vacationer 33c. I took it to Camping World Uxbridge as they were the closest service center that could service / was authorized to service Motorhome. They were excellent. Because of the 1.5 hour drive to Camping World, they had me take a picture of the hitch and the tag on the hitch. I was informed that it definitely needed to be changed and to not tow anything. They ordered the parts from Lippert only to find out that they had not shipped everything needed for the install. Kym Issler, Service Manager, was great. They offered to pick up my camper when the part came in. I can't believe how good they were. All of the personnel I dealt with that work for the dealership were excellent. I felt like they genuinely cared about my problem and wanted to help. This is customer service at its best. read more

Here's the update on the corporate response from Camping World. Everyone I spoke to at the corporate level was helpful and within 48 hours of my first contact they told me they would be overnighting a check for the original amount that had been agreed upon on the purchase and sale agreement. The check arrived as promised. It was for the amount agreed upon. So buyer/seller/consigner beware of the the sales manager Kyle at Uxbridge Camping World. Bottom line this should never happen to anyone, anywhere. We bought our trailer from the Berkley Camping World and had a wonderful experience there with every contact we had so never expected this. I will say it appears to be very true that Marcus CEO of Camping World stands behind what he says "if you are not happy then he's not happy". read more

Update: Right after writing this review the reply from campingworld came in asking me to contact them with my contact info and description of issues. I wrote them a lengthy detailed account of what we went through with their company and all my contact info. That was probably about 10/23/22, today is 12/21/22 and I have yet to hear back from them so don't let the standard answer they give every bad review fool you!! They do not care about their customers in corporate than they do in the service department!!! We bought a new camper in Febuary , We have had one problem after another with the service department. We had quite a few problems with our unit and everytime we had to bring it in it was a horrible experience. They offer nothing but excuses and promise you the world. They brought in a manager from a different Camping World who was supposed to fix all the problems and she was no better!! A couple of examples...The decal was torn when we first got the unit and they were supposed to replace it, took forever to come in then when we were told it was replaced we realized that instead of replacing the decal they put a piece of black electrical tape over the torn spot. The shade was put in wrong over the dinette so they had to fix it, when they fixed it, they put three good sized holes in the leather on the back of the dinette. It took until October for them to replace that rail. There was a leak under the sink that damaged all the wood panels in the front of the sink and drawers, they ordered the wrong part twice, first the wrong color then the wrong size!! Again, this did not get fixed until October. I contacted the CEO's office and towards the end, the only way I could get the manager to respond to me was by CC'ing my CEO contact. This experience, which should have been a very happy time for us, was an absolute nightmare. I will coclude by saying I rarely write reviews but I hate to see anyone go through what we experienced!!! I already paid a thousand dollars to have my camper brought to camping world to sell and after they decided to change there minds and lowball me 20k they now refuse to reimburse me any of the money I paid to get the camper there because they're the ones they change their mind and the deal along with. They also refused to bring it back, unless I pay them to do so. I bought my Thor MotorCoach Rize in 2021 in AZ and drive her back to Boston. I then needed a dealership to handle warranty issues and a recall. Camping World of Uxbridge were the first dealership near me that I spoke to who were actually helpful and willing to talk through the issues I had with my new van and get her back to fully functional. Travis and Dylan were super helpful in explaining the fix that had been done for the recall and Larry subsequently, when I had an electrical issue, took time to walk me through my electrics and help with some areas I was not familiar with. Overall they are super friendly and helpful and Laura has been particularly great in scheduling me last minute and getting the right technicians to talk to me about specific issues. if I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. I've been waiting since August to actually get my RV. They set up the insurance on an RV that I actually was not even getting and then behind my back decided to call my insurance company to try to change the Vin number. when the RV arrived, it was supposed to be a new product. It looks like somebody had use the grill the trim was falling off, There was a lake of water flowing from the bathroom into the kitchen area. There were nails protruding into the RV from the outside the cabinet doors were crooked, the latches to change where the seats were didn't lineup, the panel the outside sink was bowing out. They were given multiple attempts to fix all of the things that were wrong and every time I was told the product was ready for pick up I would arrive only to find out they had put a new hole into a panel, things that were agreed-upon to be fixed we're not, the bump out or frozen. communication is terrible. Reaching out to the Corporate office was a waste of time. I was told that the RV was usable during this time so that they will not compensate me for the fact that I've already made three payments on an RV that's not even in my possession nor has ever left their lot. Instead I would I was offered a $250 gift card. Such a joke. They also drilled the brake assist into my husband's truck when it was told that we were getting a Bluetooth brake assist , if I can save anybody a headache don't do business with them. The RV is still on their lot because yet again I drove 45 minutes to go pick it up after calling to confirm with them that it was ready only to get there and it was not . read more

Don't waste your time with Camping World. We had an issue at another location with an over aggressive manager but we figured we would give Uxbridge a shot. They had a 2018 RV that we were interested in so my wife and I took a ride to look. It was overpriced by $50,000-70,000 so we thought it might be a misprint. During this salesman's questions I asked why the unit was so overpriced. He replied that corporate sets the prices on supply and demand. I told him where NADA was on the value of this unit, he told us Camping World is the biggest RV dealer in the country, and they control the price more than NADA. I reminded him that they just sold the exact model only brand new for the same asking price. He had no memory of it. I explained to him the variation of NADA's pricing was on condition, his reply was "if you think so". We walked out, don't need to spend six figures in your business and deal with ignorance and arrogance. We will be buying from any place else besides Camping World. read more

so we got a new camper in may we did one camping weekend so we noticed that the camper was never washed so we called them and told them after we are done with camping for the weekend we will bring it up and get everything that needs to be fixed on it that was June 3 2022 it was supposed to be ready July 1 2022 get up to camping world on that Friday so the camper was not done the girl said it was all set so I noticed that the same mark was still there from the day we bought it we got the 3000.00 echo wash package the girl said it was done but can anyone tell me how do you echo it when the camper was never wash in the first place do your job right in service your not the ones paying on a new camper and Kim when customers call to talk to you and you never call them back you should not be working in SERVICE you can't do the job the right way I will never tell people to buy a camper from camping world !!!! thank you donna and Michael fabrizio read more
