Excellent work -- absolutely top notch. I brought my CR-V to Inferno for a head unit, amplifier, speakers, and subwoofer installation, and everything was completed quickly, cleanly, and professionally. They do much more than audio, too. They also installed my dash cam, trailer hitch, front bull bar, and lights, and everything works exactly as it should. They installed sound deadening in the doors as well, and the difference is huge -- the CR-V is so much quieter on the highway now. The system sounds fantastic. My passengers love it, and it makes long road trips so much more enjoyable. I find myself looking for new songs just to hear how they sound through the system. I wanted to treat myself to a high-end sound system for my new 24 Camry. I visted Inferno and discussed my options with Keith. I found him a pleasure to work with. We went back and forth for weeks researching the best solution for my car. He never preassued and had excellent ideas. Once we selected the equipment, I brought the car in. It took several days to rewire the car including creating custom mounts to squeeze the best speakers into the doors. Ian did the build and it was fantastic! A real work of art! The wires were dressed beautifully. When it was finished, Everything was hidden so to an observer it look like a factory car. This was an expensive project. Needed a speaker for my 1970 Cutlass Supreme. The speaker was unique inasmuch as it was a 4"x9" with special frame adapter to fit into the limited space under the dash. Inferno did some research and after a determined effort was able to find a speaker that was supposed to fit. Long story short, it was a perfect fit. I cannot recommend Inferno Audio highly enough. I wish other businesses I deal with were half this professional and knowledgeable!! I bought a remote starter 3+ years ago (wicked old for a piece of technology) on a Groupon deal from Inferno and they installed it expertly and it worked great for years with a lifetime warranty. A few months ago, the car started having some electrical issues; the battery was draining from something drawing too many amps. The dealership said it was likely the aftermarket starter, so I brought it back to Inferno to take a look. Not only did Inferno replace the whole remote start system with no questions asked and not another penny out of pocket, but they also ran a full diagnostic on my electrical system and went through everything to find the actual issue (which was not the remote start, btw). Inferno went above and beyond even the manufacturer's dealership to solve my problem. They were super professional and friendly, and stood by their warranty even when they guessed that the problem wasn't their remote starter. Seriously, I was blown away that they were willing to spend extra time on something that was already several years old, was purchased at a discount, and not going to make them any extra money. The least that I can do is post amazing reviews and tell people to GO TO INFERNO for their automotive sound and technical needs!! read more

I really appreciate Keith's honesty. My lighters kept short-circuting, so I thought I had to get them replaced. I bought the parts from Volkswagen and brought the car to the shop. Keith told me that they got the piece stuck in the lighter out and put in a new fuse in the board. He told me to go check the car and handed me the keys. I checked multiple times and both lighters started working to my surprise. Keith told me he wouldn't charge me anything. So all I have to do is return the parts to Volkswagen. Shady guys who do crappy long term work. They get the job done but do low quality work. These other reviews aren't reliable because they are only for easy straight forward installations like installing a head unit. Would go to different shop. edit: I revised this review from a 1 star to a 3 star after seeing the owner's response. No, I am not a competitor. I had fairly extensive work done between 2008-2010 ranging from tint, headlight installation, and some audio. The tint was fine and to this day is still intact without any problems. The audio equipment (memphis) started crapping the bed a year after getting it, came in to have it looked at and was pretty much shooed out of the store insisting it just needed a tune up. one of the headlight enclosures started building condensation after rainy days after their installation. they told me it was normal..then few months down the road the bulb stopped working. make of it what you will. read more

Just had an excellent experience here! They hooked up my Jeep Wrangler with a lift kit, new tires, rims, radio, and back up camera. When I was picking what I wanted, they thoroughly answered all of my questions, were patient, and recommended what I needed and also told me what I "didn't need", which saved me money. They attempted to charge me $750 for a new head unit which was 350 plus 400$ worth of labor because they claim they were "unfamiliar" with the current equipment which was bs. Very happy with this business! I had some issues with a temperamental car stereo. I had shopped around different businesses that specialized in car audio, most of them seemed either disinterested in my problem or simply wanted me to purchase an expensive aftermarket sound system for my car (which wasn't going to happen, I'm content with my factory model). Living in Warwick & being a typical Rhode Islander when it comes to driving I was weary about going "allllll the way" to Woonsocket for help but I am glad I did. Just from my interactions on the phone with the team here I knew I wasn't getting sold or ripped off. The repair was done through a third party, so it took longer than I had hoped for but I cannot blame the middle man for that. I would definitely recommend doing business with these guys. read more

I was looking for a place to either repair or replace my navigation/radio unit that had suddenly stopped working. Saw several recommendations on social media for this business so I reached out to them. Keith told me to bring the car by so he could take a look. Unfortunately, the unit was completely dead, and needed to be replaced. He gave me three different estimates from a simple basic radio, to the more expensive unit that included the upscale bells and whistles. He didn't make me feel pressured into purchasing something that I didn't need/want. I went home to discuss the options with my husband, called the shop with my decision and they asked me how quick I was looking to get it done. They offered same day service which was awesome, minus the 2 hour wait which wasn't so awesome... however I understand the wiring in these units can be a mess, so the wait was totally understandable and I'd rather it be done thoroughly rather than have someone rush through it and then run into issues. read more

Unfortunate experience had gone there once before and had no issues, today as I drove into the parking lot where I was to be dropped off for service one of the staff members in the most rude and obnoxious manner yelled to park my car in a particular spot . I responded in the same manner he spoke to me as I will not be spoken to in a crass manner and told him to hold on as I had an appointment where I wanted to drop off my keys and head off. When I went inside the owner who is nice listened to my comments about his worker and his poor demeanor that I was here to drop off and take off with my friend that was following. To make matters worse when I stepped out with the owner I told him he was disrespectful but he wouldn't stop being confrontational and completely classless, the sad thing was the owner had no ability to step in and reprimand on temper the situation at hand, maybe sign of the time with entitled people, I didn't hesitate to take my car out of there and they can perhaps read this and learn that the way you speak , speaks volumes in customer service. I rarely write reviews like this but I will leave it up to you to see how important it will be to you if you choose their services. read more

Had 3 remote starters installed here. First 2 were great. Last 1 was awful. Door locks were squealing after installation. Brought it back and they told me it's a coincidence that how do they know it wasn't doing that when I brought it there (bad customer service). When a remote starter is installed all locks are checked before and after installation, but no one said anything to me about it. After going back and forth they agreed to replace the door actuator (which had just been replaced 6 weeks prior). The locks now work but the interior lights stay on, even while driving, unless you lock the doors. Bad customer service and no accountability. read more

been here a few times.i had my windows tinted on one of my cars.tint job was clean.they have lifetime warranty on the tint and they honor it.i had a window that started to peel a year later and they tinted it again for me no questions asked for free. little bit more expensive than other custom shops on the tint job.$225 for a four door car. read more

This is a GREAT place in Woonsocket, RI. I can't say enough about Keith and his staff. I had run into a problem upgrading to Bluetooth and radio and hardwiring my Sirius radio in my 04 Lexus truck. They messed up everything they have worked on. Water leaks into my headlights when it is raining. Fog light fell out of its socket after one year. Forgot to put the screws back when they put the front bumper back (all of the screws by the way). My radio is static and the tinted windows are pealing. Now I am trying to find other places where they can fix all the mess. When I returned and complained about the water leaking head lights they sad all cars do that. Well mine was not letting water in before they worked on its headlights. If you have work done by them, good luck. read more
