So I should of posted this days ago , but better later then never. My friend and I went to look at a used trailer they had advertised for sale price was 24.900. We met with the salesman Don or Dan not sure. My friend was very interested in buying it. Dan told us that they do Not pull out old one ,they were Not interested in the trade in. So she would have to have the old one pulled out when they delivered the new one.Also they do Not do the set up , she would have to hire someone else to set it and hook it up. Wait what??? He also told us the people who delivered it charge about 2 dollars a mile. Our property is in woodhaven lake so going high it would be about 250. He comes back with the paperwork. No Negotiation on the price of the trailer. The delivery charge with $1695.?? Wait what??? And that's without set up?? But better yet $3000 down and her payments would only be $447. A month for 12 years. I'm no mathematician.!!! However are they out of their minds??? @ 17.9 % interest?? Omg do the math!! She could of bought a used 2016 camper for $64000 that is without the $3000 down payment and another 1500 or so it would cost her for the set up.what a bargain!! NOT!! I don't know if they saw 2 females walk in and think that we were just stupid. My personal opinion is that they are just shysters!! I would not recommend anyone go there to buy any type of camper or trailer. And what camping place doesn't even come and set up for you or have people to do it?? Buyer beware!! We traveled a hour to get there, spent another 2 hours there. What a waist of 3 hours of my life that I'll never get back!! This place is unprofessional!! And a joke!! We had an excellent experience with all the staff at Camping world of Chicago. Their staff worked with us and were true to their word. We found a motorhome which was in great shape. During their inspection & cleaning, which cost $650 Missy spent over an hour going over each feature on our rv. She was very knowledgable and gave us some great tips. When we were driving away we noticed the airconditioning wasn't working. Darrell said to come back the next day and they would make it good for no charge. They fixed it in a few hours and also helped my husband fix 2 of the recepticles that were not working. We were able to get on the road by 1:00 PM. Terry read more

In the three years since I wrote this review my opinion on CampingWorld has only lowered. I can't give less than one star. I bought the tires in 2017 and recently had a blow out. When getting a new tire installed I found that the tires they sold me in 2017 were manufactured in 2014. They were already three years old! Now there are two sides to the opinion on tire age. Some say from date of manufacture, some say from date of install. Do your research and make up your own minds. read more

Went in with a carbon monoxide alarm going off in middle of the night. Our service advisor Alex Macier and Technician Kevin thoroughly reviewed our rv, replaced an outdated monitor, changed a battery connector, and recommended a generator exhaust extension (which we purchased to ensure added precaution). To be clear, overall, we did get a good deal only because we bought the warranty. We bought a used RV with an additional warranty. That saved us. We have driven 22,000 miles in 3 years while working a fulltime job, so we have been traveling fast. We have to pay the deductible when an item breaks, but that is the deal. When we look back on our purchase, we are so happy with it. The service department is good on some days and not on others. Our buying experience was great, but afterwards we have had to visit the service department too many times. 2013 Coachmen Freelander, 4500 miles when purchased. Thankfully, we bought a warranty. We had to get the fridge replaced and the TV replaced. The TV was a nice Magnavox. The service guy said we were getting a Magnavox, however they gave us a crappy Jensen. I just called the warranty to confirm that we should have gotten a Magnavox not the Jensen. 2nd warranty issue was with an ignition coil that needed to be replaced at 7500 miles! Service guy said the warranty wouldn't cover diagnostic fee and the additional labor because of it being an RV. I bought a warranty for my RV, but they won't cover RV work? I just called the warranty to confirm that they would have paid the diagnostic fee and reasonable labor work, which had not been submitted for reimbursement. I'm waiting for a call back from the service guy to see if they are going to make corrections. I've been very nice and patient until I called the warranty to confirm how screwed over we feel! read more

The sales staff really wants you to find your perfect camper! We had a great experience here. Rick and Larry are the salesman we worked with and I cannot say enough good things about them. Rick went out of his way to be there when we had the time to go and showed us many campers. He kept in touch with us when he found something that he thought we would be interested in. Larry was terrific also. The one statement he made that stood out to us was "Do not force yourself to like something if you do not". That is not something most salesman say when they are trying to sell a customer something. *** Lengthy read however informative. Numerous failures to report. Salesman was great at the RV show as expected, Wanted to get me into a 2018 model, disclosed damage to the unit. Crunched some numbers that were an insult (10% finance) reached out to him several times he refused to return my calls. I proceeded to call the sales manager, due to the lack of contact, who was fantastic. They had a deal put together over the phone in an hour and a half. Sold me on a 2019 that was to be brought in from a different dealer. Signed off on paperwork via email and provided deposit on a specific VIN number. Arrived at the dealer to take delivery and discovered in the finance office that there was a difference in VIN numbers. Asked for an explanation was not given any clarification. Became heated with the finance agent who then summoned the general manager. The manager came in with a cocky attitude and confronted me stating "I understand you think we are lying to you." He told me it's the same unit, if you don't like it than you can leave. I asked why was I not told there was a change on the paperwork that I signed off on, he indicated the unit was sold and they had to find another one. The issue I have with that was I was unable to research online that it had all the features I wanted. Given all of the time I had invested in research and putting the deal together I accepted the deal. We set up a delivery date, the night before I was set to come in, I received a call indicating that the unit had been damaged. Mind you this is why I didn't buy the 2018. Due to the fact I was unable to provide my trade at the time because it was in storage CW agreed to store the new unit for a few weeks until I could bring it to them. The repairs were made on the issues that I found. I go to hook up and find that the weight distribution hardware was not installed correctly and several LED lights were out. I demanded to speak to the GM and once again expressed my disappointment. He was much better to deal with this time. Given my dissatisfaction I decided to walk into the corporate headquarters and express my disappointment with someone who maybe a bit understanding. I was put in touch with one of the CEO's (Marcus Lemonis) right hand individuals and was told to reach out to her with any other issues. I purchased a warranty package which included emergency roadside assistance. Took the trailer out for the first time, got stuck trying to get out of our campsite due to the record amount of rainfall that had occurred over the month. Called roadside assistance and was denied, indicating I didn't have the coverage. I had the contract in hand and offered to email to the person on the phone they refused to accept it. They said we will get someone out but it will cost $350.00. I contacted a local towing company who took care of it for $200. After returning home I contacted my corporate contact who said to call anytime, she helped me get reimbursed. I then said to I feel after all I have been through coupled with the fact I was sold a damaged trailer I would like some sort of compensation. I was not even offered store credit. I was told by her person who was handling my issues, that it would be a hard sell due to the fact that my situation was not unique. In conclusion stay far away from this company. They are not customer service oriented. Give the independent operators your business vs the big box dealers. All they want is you profit. If I could give this place negative stars I would, after spending close to $30000 on a new toy hauler ,I go to pick it up only to find out it's at a storage facility and that I would have to go get it myself, thanks for nothing. Beware-- online ordering from this company is deceptive. The online items are not what they send you and they do not picture the correct item that is listed. I tried to purchase a wind sensor for my Smart Arm awning. The sensor is pictured and matches the exact picture on the Lippert web site. When I ordered it, my oder came through with the description "Smart Arm Infrared security sensor". I checked the Lippert site and this is a different item that has the same price. I immediately called Camping World to have the order corrected and spoke with Asia. She assured me that she would correct the order. 2 weeks later... the wrong item arrived. I called again and spoke with another service rep. I was told that no notes had been entered regarding my call or my order. I am waiting for a return label... skeptical that this will be resolved. Do NOT use this place for service! 15 days ago I dropped off my Rv for service. The rear axle seal needed to be replaced. For the first 8 days the service rep lied to me about the delays saying they were waiting for a parts estimate from the manufacturer, the manufacturer. Meaning Ford, now never for simple auto repairs have I ever heard of someone contacting the manufacturer. On top of I'm supposed to believe it took 6 days to get a quote on parts for the most popular gas chassis for rv's. The service rep, when confronted with questions about above statement, gives me an attitude and begins to tell me "it's our busy season" " our parts department may not have gotten to the list for your vehicle yet they are busy" etc... more lies. I finally get the service manager show assures me he will get the parts and have my unit back to me in a few days..... 7 days later they have not contacted me at all. So I go to the store and unit still isn't done and noe both the service rep and service manager give me an attitude, however now they assure me my unit will be done today after first telling me it might be done. So as I sit here waiting to see if they lied to me yet again I CANNOT recommend Camping World to anyone. I beg you to read my review and look at spending your money elsewhere. The girl I believe her name was Jolie or something like that was the one I talked to on the phone, however she had to go somewhere and had some other guy whose name I can't remember other then he was 75 and lived in Chicago. The way I was treated is was as if they were doing me a favor just to talk to me. When I left my first thought and still the same is I will not be doing business with them. I was planning on paying cash, however will just have to give it to a different store. I should have went with my first thought because I went back and bought theCRV from them. That was a VERY BIG MISTAKE on my part. They added things to the contract I signed documents which they later put the price in. I admit I was half asleep when I was there for I am 70 and a disabled veteran, and it was a long day. In my opinion they cheated me out of about $15,000 dollars. Their finance guy Alex I believe in my opinion is a crook. Strongly suggest use them maybe for service but nothing else. I went to the one in Wauconda, Ill. The price on the Internet was $57,999, I gave $30,000 down and yet my finance is for $53,000, Suggestion, stay far away from them. I know there is tax but not that much. read more

My experience here was pretty bad. Dropping off my coach took about an hour and a half. I was leaving it to have my leveling system looked at. The advisor that went over it with me was only a few days on the job. It's clear that he should have had a superior assisting him still. The following day I get a call and am told that my "Big Foot Leveling System" is actually just a stabilizing system. WRONG. I drove to the store as I wanted to pick up my coach and take it somewhere else. I was greeted by a fellow named Pat that made me feel a little better. I left it there to repair issues. Spoke to service advisor and was told I can pick up Thursday morning at 7:30. This is 30 min before the store opens but he said he would be there and could take care of it. I get there at 7:30 and a guy outside goes inside and said he will be out in 10 minutes. He comes out at 7:48 and tells me he has a 10 minute meeting and will be right back. 7:59 he comes out and we go in and do paperwork. I would have just come at 8 if I knew I woke up 30 minutes earlier for nothing. (I have an infant child and sleep is hard to come by) Finally all set to go at 8:05. Next season when I'm looking to trade up I'll be going somewhere else.... read more

We love our camper. We do not love Camping World's Service. We just bought our camper a couple of months ago and have had nothing but issues. We have been promised multiple times that our camper will be ready for pickup and have showed up to have things not done on our camper or it is not even there at the shop to be worked on yet. Hours and hours of waiting. Every. Single. Time. And every time I am there, there are other people. Waiting and pissed off. I would not have an issue with waiting if we was told ahead of time that it would be a wait. We had an anti sway hitch installed and told them we would be picking it up on a Friday afternoon to take it out of town camping. When we went to pick up the trailer, we thought we would be at the end of the process to just where our truck was needed. Nope, our trailer WAS NOT EVEN ON THE LOT when we got there. We waited THREE hours. This sort of "miscommunication" has happened every time we have dealt with service. Most of the guys in the back actually doing the service are great and super nice but either they are short staffed or the guys up front are not communicating with the guys doing the actual work. read more

7 HOURS AND 1 COUNT OF ATTEMPTED THEFT LATER... We're off on our cross country road-trip adventure beginning at the front door of Camping World in Island Lake (Which I thought was Wauconda) and ending in the beautiful Central Valley of Northern California. We show up at Camping World of Chicago before 8am, their opening time, tired from flying all night out of SFO Airport. A cab ride gets us to Camping World's front door and THE SLOWEST TRANSACTION IN HISTORY commences. I'm not exaggerating when I say 7 hours. It took so long to get through the paperwork that my cousin and me fell asleep in the RV waiting for my Dad to finalize. We finally get to do the walk-through, which we found out later was woefully incomplete. Walk-through consisted of this shop technician-type guy (who was nice, yet quircky) explaining the various features, compartments, electrical systems, mechanical systems, and electronic systems in such a way that it became clear he had no idea what he was talking about concerning this model. In all fairness the RV is a brand new (2016) Palazzo by Thor. This thing is frickin' nuts with newly invented bells AND whistles on top of all the bells and whistles that come standard on RVs. So I guess it's too new for any RV dealership personnel to know intimately but, let your customer know if you're not up to speed. BS'ing gets you no where. I learned this lesson during the first day of my very first job as a lad. Using terms like "should" and "probably" concerning a rig that contains multiple complex pieces of machinery doesn't exactly instill confidence in a jet-lagged crew of guys taking a rig out on its maiden flight of over 2600 miles of straight-up America. Pre-flight Checklist: Sawdust in the Vent Registers: Check. Busted LED Side Marker: Check No Audio Cables for TV Soundbar: Check Detached Dining Table Bench Outlet: Check Leak between Shower Pan and Liner: Check Empty Coolant Resevoir: Check (What if we didn't catch that until later?!) Detached Kitchen Drawer Slide: Check Incomplete Customer Walk-through: Check Leaking Water Valve behind Cabinets: Check The list continues but you get the point... This is a list of items that should have been checked and repaired before the arrival of the customer and I'm still kind of amazed just thinking about it. Although I am not in RV sales, I've been around various blocks enough times to know this is amateur hour at Camping World. The "Manager" should be ashamed of himself both for his actions and that of his staff. The Supervisor should be ashamed as well, this isn't rocket science people, unless there aren't rockets in the greater Chicago area that is. Happy to be free and clear for takeoff, it is then that we start to get some details out of my Pop about what went on in the office... 1. The "Manager" tried to sell additional insurance to my Dad despite the fact he had already explained to multiple staff members he had kick-ass insurance already. 2. The "Manager" tried to steal a manufacturer's rebate of $2500. Yeah, steal. He handed my dad a form and asked him to sign it without explaining what it was hoping my Pop wouldn't notice as he had been sitting there so long going over so many papers already. My Dad ain't no fool and checked it first. Nice try dude... Now I'm not saying this is standard practice of Camping World or of that particular site. All I know is it DID indeed happen, so I'm left to assume that it has happened in the past as well. The moral here is what we all know to be true, READ ANY AND ALL DOCUMENTS YOU ARE HANDED TO SIGN BECAUSE PEOPLE SUCK. So here's the kicker, if attempted theft isn't a kicker that is. We were there for at least 7 hours while "The Team" got all the last details squared away on the vehicle itself, broken items fixed, fluids checked, blah blah blah. They had the vehicle on site for a week prior to our arrival! It sat there on the lot ignored and neglected until we showed up. I didn't want to cause any drama since I knew my Dad and Cousin were just as tired and I know my Dad was pissed about the entire deal. He doesn't show it though so these chumps at Camping World should be grateful he didn't go nuclear. It is a sight to weaken the knees of even the battle-hardened. My advice to any potential or current customer of this location: Run and do not look back. Price or selection is not worth the minefield of issues this den of incompetence presents. I will be in contact with Camping World's Corporate Office regarding these matters, chiefly the attempted theft issue. I really shouldn't be too surprised there would be a crook here given their proximity to Chicago. P.S. On a lighter note, the rest of our trip was awesome (In many ways) and I am posting reviews of most of the stops we made along the way. read more

Bought a TravelTrailer in March, 2013. The slide out did not seal, so I called the extended warranty repair man. He advised me that it appears the floor is rotted and someone tried to hide it. It all started right after we brought our trade in trailer to them..... nothing went well once they got that and started the paperwork on the new camper We love our camper but we will NEVER go back for service or to buy anything! (We have a appt. with another RV Center to put on 3 more awnings, 2 new heavy duty stairs and levelers in the back for the door/deck) Trying to talk to anyone there is almost impossible They do not answer their phones and if you leave a massage, well.... it takes a lot of calls and VM to get them to call you back. We have 100% buyer regret when it came to closing - final paper signing. They made complete asses of us with their "GOLD" package service, GAP coverage..... they did NOT answer our questions in detail as to what the cost of each package would be, they "talked" over that and said, just focus on your monthly payment and at the end of the day, we like fools - we signed and they took us for over $9,000.00 worth of coverage we really did NOT want. It took me over 3 days to explain this to them. I received a bunch of " bull.... words" how sorry they are they WE didn't understand them. Debi was going to call us back and NEVER did I have 3 friends looking to buy new camper and they will NOT be going to Camping World Again, SHAME on us for going to Camping World to begin with as we heard nothing but BAD about them and SHAME on us for signing the paper Working with them has been one of the BIGGEST mistakes of lives!!!!! SOOOOO, my friend brought in his RV recently for an oil change, but they blew up one of the tires while the RV was in their care and they refused to fix it. They also refused to talk to him or his insurance company. They had awful customer service. Because the tire blew up, there is now a hole on the side of the camper in which they said would be fixed before the snow, but it was not. They even kicked him out of the store when he simply wanted to ask a few questions. DO NOT GO TO CAMPING WORLD OF CHICAGO!! He was left with thousands of dollars of damages after bringing it in. read more

While on vacation, we bought a brand new Motorhome from the Camping World in Council Bluff, Iowa. As we were driving the following day, both toilets leaked and the propane tank cover under the rig fell off and was dragging down the road. We called the dealer we purchased from and they called ahead to this Camping World to help us out. We were met with extremely uninterested service writers who were more interested in telling us most of the techs go home at 3pm. They took it to the back and supposedly "fixed" it. As we continue our drive home we have towels down in both bathrooms as both toilets STILL leak! It's a shame the BRAND is not concerned with the customer experience regardless of where you purchased, live, etc. It's a shame that my experience with them is poor after spending what most people do on their home! I hope my experience with the local Camping World in my city is better! read more

So disappointed in camping world. Our salesman d.v. seemed great, but mistakes were made causing us to lose out on the camper I really really wanted. I told him I wanted to do $2k down he came back with $3500. Told us we needed a $500 hitch, we agreed to purchase it. When we went to hook it up they had a cheap little hitch that they were going to use. It was a used camper that needed some work. There were 5 things pointed out and d.v. said they could fix them, that he would make a note of them. When we went to pick it up the next week, only 2 things were written down and fixed. It was on a Friday and we needed the camper for Saturday afternoon. The internal advisor said he could fix the other problems and we could pick it up Saturday at 10:30am. Unfortunately when 10:30 was coming around they said it wouldn't be ready till 1. We needed to leave for our trip and instead of having the perfect little camper we needed tents. My mother was supposed to go with, but at 70, she wasn't going to be able to do the tent thing and didn't go. Was told I needed to get a quote from the good sam insurance, so I did. But ended up going through my state farm insurance. The good sam insurance guy called me every day trying to get me to purchase the insurance, even after I told him I already got insurance through state farm. Wanted to take a loan out somewhere else and they said I couldn't because they were giving me such a good deal financing through them... not sure how true that was lol. read more

We had a trailer hitch put on our van. One of the wires under the vehicle came loose and was hanging below the bottom of our van. I worked with Sandy and Robert to help get this corrected. Both took their time with me (on phone and in store), explaining what happened and how it was corrected. Robert gave my daughter some paper and crayons to help keep her busy while we waited. I have been impressed so far with the service department. read more

DO NOT bring your RV here for service! We made an appt to have a door that was damaged by a broken awning fixed, as well as to have the oil changed, mud flaps put on, leveling jacks leveled and the light on the awning repaired on our 2020 Integra. We took it in two weeks later at our appointment and were told it would take a week. A week later we got a call that our catalytic converter had been stolen. We were told to contact OUR insurance on this. A week after that they were still looking for a replacement converter. My husband got on line and found one. He called Tyler and gave him the information. Tyler promised to keep him in the loop. We checked with the person who had the converter and learned it was delivered to Camping World. A week after that it had still not been installed, but they did change the oil and leveled the jacks. No other work had been done. We got an estimate for $3000 for fixing the door. When we checked we found that a new door would cost about $800.00--so much for taking advantage of insurance. Jayco indicated they could fix it for about the same amount of money--$800.. We decided to get our motor home when the converter was installed--five weeks after we had dropped it off. And Tyler, who said he would keep us in the loop--well he was always "busy" when we called for information. Now two weeks after picking up our MH, we get a call saying that our MH is missing an oil cap and this was missing when they did the oil change. This place is totally irresponsible and seems to take advantage of insurance companies with their very high estimates for repairs. I would give zero stars if that was possible. read more

I was pleasantly surprised to meet "Jim" who greeted us enthusiastically, ushered us in to his cubicle and spent the next hour answering all our basic questions about RVs in general. He then escorted us by golf cart around the premises to inspect new & used inventory. My husband and I both were impressed with his knowledge and friendliness. If we do decide to purchase an RV, i hope any future experiences at this dealership will be similar. Do NOT deal with Camping World of Wauconda/Island lake, Illinois. We bought our first RV (a 1998 Fleetwood Bounder) and had a very favorable experience with the salesman at that time so when we were in the market for a new RV, traded up with them at the Chicago RV show purchasing a new 2015 (2014 frame) Thor Windsport. At that time, we were given a very low ball price for the Bounder trade-in, learning later that they made a VERY nice profit on this resale (over $10,000.00). From the beginning, we had troubles. My husband needed to replace all the house batteries at our cost as they did not properly maintain them. When he had to constantly charge them as they STILL would not maintain a charge, he installed a battery disconnect which finally solved the problem, again at our expense. We intended this to be our dream retirement expense. Unfortunately, we were only able to spend one winter in Arizona. With unforeseen medical issues, we were able to spend a final fall trip to the south last October/November. My husband passed away in February of 2017. As this is a 34 foot RV, with my MS condition, I am not able to navigate safely with this length and unfortunately, had to turn it back to Camping World on consignment. There was some damage to the rear which they helped me with the insurance company to resolve. This is the last nice thing which they did. I had to sign a contract for the consignment which was below market price. Not only did they get the service work (which needed to be completed before they would cover it under consignment and included a $900 deductible), they did the reverse by now giving me a low ball price on the new unit. The lady in charge of consignments (whose name I will not reveal; I am above her in morals) promised me that she would e-mail me with the final figures today as she was going to see if she could get a better price. Instead I received a voice mail on my answering machine from her underling letting me know that I needed to immediately pay the deductible and bring the loan down to the consignment price.Talk about poor customer service! I was in banking management for over 40 years until my MS condition disabled me from working so understand well the "corporate" philosophy. It is all about profits; no bending the rules; it is about money at all costs and if you can get it from somebody below you who has no voice all the better. So Camping World, you will get your deductible and the loan paid down for your consignment price. I should have the funds tomorrow. Do not expect me to be quiet however. I will shout your bad service to all who will listen. In 2 to 3 years, I hope to be on the road again with a friend or family member with a vehicle better matched for me to handle. Trust me, I will not even CONSIDER a Camping World location. read more

DON'T FALL FOR IT!!! Gave 1 star cause you can't give a "0" rating! They are NOT in Chicago, they are in Waukegan. They've got a wide range of variety to choose from, but their sales people don't know much about anything. I've never heard someone say "I'm not sure" so many times when responding to our questions; and he couldn't even calculate what 10% was, I had to do it for him. Felt like we were forced to put a $500 deposit down so someone else couldn't buy the camper because they insisted it "was the only one around the area" when in fact we found out there was another one just 20 mins from our house at a different place! When discussing how much we had for a down payment, the sales guy came back with numbers that exceeded our limit by $1,000-3,000 more than we said we could put down. Then the financial guy was going to make us sign a "purchase agreement" in order to run our credit & see what our monthly payments would be if we financed through them. Um...NO...don't sign unless you are actually going to purchase!!!! They also have all these crazy fees such as a training fee you can't opt out of, a delivery fee, and so on. By the time it was said and done we were going to be paying more than $5,000 above the sticker price!!! And that was WITH a $1,500 discount because of doing financing through them. While waiting a week to find out what the numbers would be, my family got the flu & they kept hounding us to come in to purchase. When we went back to possibly purchase and find out what our monthly payments would be, it was more than what our own bank was going to do for us. We obviously decided not to purchase and MORE THAN A WEEK LATER STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED OUR DEPOSIT BACK! read more

Never going to Camping Word AGAIN. Don't come here. They sold me a used coach with numerous issues after stating that it's been gone over and tuned up to the highest standard. THAT WAS ALL A LIE. When I brought it back in to have all the issues sorted from an oil change, coolant flush, to a carburetor rebuild and so on they were rude, but still took it in. After going back to pick up my coach I noticed a ton of damage all over the place from dents, to scratches, and CAMPING WORLD said they weren't liable and won't pay to fix or repair the damages! ITS ABSOLUTELY ABSURD. I tried calling corporate and I've talked to numerous customer service representatives and to this day nothing has been done. Take your business elsewhere as you will be treated like dirt by camping world. read more

The people in the service dept. have no clue on how to do repairs, schedule or communicate. They took our camper in for minor warranty work during the 'slow' season, and it took them 4.5 months to get it done. Worst was that when they said it was done it wasn't and we waited even longer. Then 2 weeks after it was home, we found out there was another problem and had to take it back AGAIN another 3 weeks went by. Never again will we take it to that romper room. read more

We purchased a camper from here and have had nothing but issues with it. The manager Steve will not even return our call after numerous attempts. When we contacted higher up, they said they sell the camper as is and it's the chance you take. Are you kidding me! So they do not even check that everything works or is correct, like the right size spare tire. I would NEVER set foot in this place ever again. Not worth it. I would not recommend purchasing anything from this place. read more

I just want to extend my appreciation to Rob in service. A couple of days after purchasing a used RV from Camping world the self leveling jacks got stuck down a week before our vacation. I had to manually raise them since nothing on line or in the book would work. I brought it into to be fixed. When I found out it would not be ready for our trip and explained the position this put us in, because after all this was why we purchased the unit. Rob stated he understood and he personally (yes, himself) took his time and not only fixed the jacks but then explained and showed what he did in case it should happen again. I don't usually right reviews and if I do it tends to be like the rest the of us, when we feel we've been treated poorly. So I again can't say how much my family appreciated Rob doing this and not just saying while there nothing we can do for you at this time. read more
