In preparation for our long weekend in Edmonton, I found Campiō and was glad we made a visit before we left the city. Our server/host, Alisha (I hope I got it), was so sweet and attentive. The beers and food were amazing; the deep-dish pizza was a legit Canadian take on Detroit-style: DEE-lish! Thanks for a wonderful last night in Edmonton, y'all.

What a find!! Our bartender from Joey's recommended Campio. Opened in 2007 and still cooking strong. They have sours that are interesting and a strong menu. The vibe is killer. Music laid back and friendly. They sprinkle dry Kraft cheese on top of the popcorn!! Brilliant This is a must stop before our Springsteen concert!!

    Outdoor patio is huge !

We went here to start the night, the establishment was packed so we went to check out the outdoor seating, and it has to be the largest outdoor seating area I've ever seen. Now we were out there about 15-20 min and just got our drinks and nachos when we got attacked by a massive swarm of no-see-ums which after about 5 minutes of trying to tough it out we surrendered and ran inside. ( the extra protein was uncalled for) so inside we finished our beverages munched on some nachos and proceeded to our next stop. Great atmosphere great staff it is a bit on the louder side though.

The Detroit style deep dish pizza was delicious. Also had a great non-alcohol craft brew. Friendly service and a fun place to watch an Oilers game.

The deep dish pizza at this spot is to die for. If you're a mushroom lover, get the Forager; if you like a little crisp on your pizza, get the Smokeshow. My friend and I shared a Sampler of beers and it was more than enough for the two of us. My personal favourite was the Babe Tangerine Dream which was a nice orangey flavour, almost like mimosas. I also really liked the Ube Stout, it was a really unique flavour - but I don't think I'd enjoy a full pint of it. The server we had was very friendly and offered samples for my friends that were ordering full pints so they could ensure they liked the beer they ordered. One note: it gets super busy, so try to make a reso or come early in the evening. But this is a great place for a fun night out!

We came here with some out of town friends for what we thought was going to be lunch. It was Saturday at noon but we didn't realize that they don't serve lunch on the weekends. They only had brunch available until 2:00pm. It was a tad disappointing as we really wanted to try some of their lunch menu items. But nonetheless we ordered some brunch menu items. We came with 3 kids aged 5, 6, 7. As I had heard that this was a kid friendly restaurant. Well they didn't have any kid menu or items on the menu that would be somewhat kid friendly. Luckily the server asked her manager and they did say that they would be able to make a kids grilled cheese with tater tots to accommodate the kids. We ended up ordering this and my daughter loved it. The sourdough bread for the Mac and cheese was a hit and the tater tots were also well received by all the kids. The other two girls ordered the French toast but it came with 3 pieces of toast so it was massive. Needless to say they definitely could have shared this dish. I wish our server would have told us this. They also don't have much for juice selection, just orange juice or pop, beer, coffee or water. The French toast was delicious, came topped with caramelized bananas, caramel, and whipped cream. For the adults, we ordered the short ribs and eggs platter. It came with a bit of salad, tater tots, 2 slices of sourdough toast, 2 crispy fried, sunny side up eggs, and a very small portion of short ribs meat. It was all very tasty and filling. A very good portion size with all the food. My friend ordered the pizza and she was impressed with the deep dish size. She said there was a ton of cheese on the pizza but it had good flavour and the crispy bits were delicious. Overall, it was great food, ok service, but not sure that I would come back here with my kids again. I would definitely try coming not during brunch hours next time as I really wanted to try some of their other regular menu items. But glad that it wasn't a complete fail. Our bill with 2 orders of short ribs with eggs, 1 kids grilled cheese, 1 French toast, 1 orange juice, and 1 coffee came to around $85. Oh and also, I know they normally have free parking here as well bur this time we came they had expanded their patio to cover the entire parking lot! So we had to find street parking and ended up paying for parking too.

Came here to watch the hockey game on Tuesday and to enjoy some beers. The place was busy but had room from some more patrons. We parked in the parking lot right beside Campio. No hostess or anyone told us we had to scan the QR code to sign your vehicle in. That could be better labeled or discussed for new customers. However, I did ask our server and she told me about it. We were seated quickly and our server popped over quickly too. We decided to order a sampler of beers. I love sour beers and these did not disappoint. This place has a great vibe. Tuesday happy hour is until 6pm so also another bonus we arrived at 515pm and were able to still get happy hour snacks and drinks We ordered bbq chicken wings, kettle chips, and I tried the Korean chicken burger. All of it was really good. The star though are the beers. I will go back to try the other ones

Came here to look at the art for edmonton spark installation. Very cool and a good excuse to ramble around downtown. This was a great stop for a drink and a snack. I ordered the ube purple stout. It was a decent beer, but not quite to my taste. It did fit the bill as refreshing on a hot day. To snack on I went for sweet potato fries. These were good. It took a while to come out so I was almost done with the beer before the fries came out. They had a hugh area to sit outside so this would be great place on a hot day.

This is a great spot to go to in Edmonton area if you're looking for good food and drinks. First off, they have a great selection of beers to choose from and our server was kind enough to offer samples as I was indecisive about which beer I wanted. Ended up going with the tangerine dream which was recommended by the server for a light, sweeter beer. Also shared the deep dish forager pizza with my friends and it was so filling and so good. The toppings went so well together. My other friends also got the smoke show which they said was a little spicy. Overall a good experience, would recommend to others as a spot if they're in the area!

    The beer flight was fun!

It was okay but not memorable, it was also served with too much of a crown. For food I ordered the Lemongrass Chicken which they describe as a classic "Vietnamese Banh Mi style sandwich by our friends at Pho & Bun". I'm assuming Pho and Bun is a ghost restaurant in the same building but I don't know. Either way it was very good. The sandwiche was Just the right size. The others at my table ordered similar sandwiches such as the pulled port and the feature. There was also a couple of vegan choices and my daughter appeared to be pleased with hers. They have only two appetizers; pretzels and something they called "drift chips" which are probably fries. Inside it's very casual and not particularly large. They use long tables that are similar to picnic tables to accommodate various sizes of groups. There are some smaller tables too, as well as an outside patio. We enjoyed ourselves and the small size of the place kept the atmosphere pleasant. There are several other brew pubs in the area so they have a lot of competition. They get 5 stars for the food, and 3 stars for the beer. I can recommend Sea Change. Hopefully the other beer selections are a bit more interesting.

Maybe pizza is somewhere in their future. Service was pretty good. Our server forgot a few things, but she made up for it by having a very sweet personality. We were only one of two tables... on St. Patrick's Day! I hope they can get more business. Their beer is awesome, which is the highlight. And a good thing too, since they're a brewery. We tried the Cossack Imperial Stout, Naughty Amber, and Last Call Blonde. I thought they were all good, but the Stout definitely stood out as the best! If I were to recommend a beer from here it would be the Stout. The food was OK. I had the veggie burger and my partner had fish and chips. We also tried the mozza sticks. Nothing to write home about, but not awful! Typical bar food. The mozza sticks were obviously the best because you can't really mess them up. I think with some work the food could be great. We will see, these are still early days. I would definitely encourage this place to work on their food though because while the beer is good, the food will drive people away. People want to eat and drink at the same time and if the food isn't great, they won't return. Enjoy the beer if you do go! I'm looking forward to re-reviewing in a few months.
