    Expert Air A/C took over Dusty's Air Conditioning Service when Dusty retired. We had used Dusty's…read morefor a decade. I was at a loss to know where to turn. But Expert is as reliable and responsible as Dusty's. They honor the warranty from the new unit we bought from Dusty. They come out promptly, are good at diagnosing problems and getting your unit up and cooling again quickly and without unnecessary drama. Michael, one of the A/C techs, has taken care of us for years. I knew his wife and she called him at the first sign of a problem. He is friendly and excellent at what he does. He helped us choose a larger, 2-stages unit with dehumidifier when we saw or unit was underserved. We have Bern very happy with it, ad MYB budge loves it cold, but the dehumidifier keeps it from feeling damp and uncomfortable. We consider Michael like one off the family! He still works there, but at Expert. Other techs have also come out and done a great job, as well. In New Orleans, we had a number of adequate and terrible companies, but on the Northshore, we only ever needed one. I can't say enough about this company!

Below is complaint sent to the Better Business Bureau on December 16, 2024. Stanley Steemer ignored the BBB's attempts to contact them. However I learned they are NOT accredited with the BBB. That is who they are. On December 4, 2024, they came out to my house, were there a bit over 2 hours and charged me $2,200.00. To say the job was not well done is a gross understatement. My house is 1,200 sq ft. I have seven air vents. The air vents were to be cleaned and that was not done. I had to get them to come back as they were leaving to do the primary vent. All they did was hose it down. Clean to me means you take down the vents and wash and dry them before putting them back on. This was not done, not even close. I still have the lingering scent of the dog previous owner had. I was charged $899 for this cleaning service. Which leads me to say one size does not fit all. $899 plus tax for nothing. It's time Stanley Steemer to reevaluate/change pricing. Base pricing on the square footage of the dwelling. They also did the floors and grout. Because I was getting my furniture delivered on Dec 5 I got down on my hands and knees to tape down brown construction paper to protect the floor. While doing this I found dust and other left over vent debris on the floors. Being a conscientious consumer, I tipped the guys who came out. This was before I found what I just described. I expect a 75% refund from that service. Furthermore, since Dec 5 I have been trying to get a callback from the manager. I have called 5 times to date. I do not even know his/her name and contact info, so I have to keep calling. I do not even know if my message was received. I paid over $2,200.00 for this service. The actual cleaning was not done. I will not ever recommend using Stanley Steemer to anyone. Also, I tried attaching a picture but was unable to do so. And of course there is no email address to contact anyone at corporate. I do expect a call from a decision maker. Because of the inadequate service I received I canceled the follow-up service I had to clean my furniture. Regards, Michelle S
