If you want to be jerked around this is the place to contact. Called the office around 815 on a Monday morning concerning a leaking pipe. The girl who answered took the info and said a technician will call me. Waited all day for call that never came. Called them again the next morning to inquire as to what's up, I'm still waiting on call. Same girl said "They" worked late last night and should receive a call "today". I asked if she could give me an idea as to when they may call and was told "early this afternoon". I'm writing this review Saturday, 6 days later and I still haven't received a phone call. read more

Had a new roof installed 10 days earlier and two visitors told us they smelled odor of gas. Called gas company who confirmed leak shutting off gas. Called Drain Surgeon who came first thing next morning and within an hour located the leak and had it repaired and gas company turned on gas. My whole house generator installer failed to properly secure a section of the gas line that ran through the attic. Our roofer punctured the line with nail gun due to gas line situated against plywood roof. City code enforcers caught a couple of code violations but not that one. Drain Surgeon employees were excellent and very reasonable with their charge for repair. Highly recommend. read more

Drain surgeon is a joke! They lie and do not take responsibility when they make a mistake. I have been using them for a few years. With the amount of properties I manage they were called on a semi regular basis. One would think they would value the amount of business they received but it's apparent they do not value anything but themselves. 1.5 years ago we had a slab leak in a duplex. They quoted nearly $2000 to reroute and repair the problem. During the process of them repairing it, the front (attached) apartment became vacant. When the water was turned off at the vacant apartment the leak went away. We thought they had repaired the leak. To our surprise the leak returned when the water was restored in the front apartment. I called them back and told them it's still leaking in the same place and whatever they did, did not fix the issue. They came out and insisted we now had the same problem in the front apartment (same building) and it would cost another almost $2000 to repair it. The water was coming up in the EXACT location as before! I don't believe in coincidences like this but gave drain surgeon the benefit of the doubt. Over the last 2 weeks I have been going round and round with them on another "coincidence"! They were called out for a leak in another duplex. We were informed of another slab leak and reroute job, along with the water heater leaking. We hired them to fix the problem and replace the water heater. Immediately after the new water heater was installed the tenant informed me the breaker had tripped. Well of course, drain surgeon insisted there must be an electrical issue in the apartment. 1 new breaker and $375.00 for a licensed electrician to check all avenues, no electrical problem was found but the breaker was still tripping! After going round and round and being called a liar they came out and got tech support with the manufacturer on the phone and fixed the problem. Instead of apologizing for all the inconvenience we were caused they felt it would benefit them to lie and say they replaced the hot water heater and installed the other one somewhere else and it's working fine. Needless to say, it'll be the last time I call on drain surgeon! Beware of this company! They are not honest! read more

I happened to smell a gas leak in my home and called ATMOS emergency number. They came out rather quickly, they just won't come in your home because of the covid-19 stay at home order! The gas company called the fire department to come check it out. They arrived, masked up and asked if anyone in the home was sick, recovering, had a cough, etc., then came in. They found the leak. After all of that I called Drain Surgeon. They came out within the hour and repaired the leak. From the time I placed the call to Drain Surgeon, to the time they finished the job was literally under 2 hours! And the price was fantastic, too! That was one bill I didn't mind paying :) Highly recommended. read more

These guys are amazing! They were a huge part of our bathroom remodel and also ran the gas lines for a new stove. Professional, on time (unheard of in construction businesses), and absolutely know what they are doing. My dad was a master plumber/gas man who had his own business so I am very familiar with the plumbing industry and how there are a lot of journeymen out there with minimal training and crappy work. Called this company to fix a plumbing issue of water draining outside my bathroom. They check my front yard are started sticking netal poles in the ground by my metal pipes. Then they say I had a busted metal pipe in my front yard. Ive never had a problem with it until they came out. I think they broke my pipe when sticking the metals poles in the ground! They never did fix the problem. I called them a week in a half later and told them we were still having the problem but they wont come and fix it until we make a payment. Even thought the work was under warranty for 30 days.The lady on the phone was very rude. Which the lady was the owners daughter. I spoke to the owner and he had came out and looked at it and stated they did everything right and didnt bother to help with anything else until we made a payment. He didnt even bother to help discount the bill even though the priblem was still there. I had to get another company out to fix the issue which they did (Brenson Plumbing). I would stay well clear of this company, not sure how they are still in business. read more

I hired Drain Surgeon to do my plumbing for a renovation project. There had been plumbing issues before and the first request I made was for them to make sure the lines were cleared. From day one they gave me nothing but headache and excuses for not showing up. The worst customer service, yet I put up with it to get the job done. At the end of the project after installing floors and closing in walls, I find out they never cleared the lines and we had a major flood. I have made several attempts to get them to come and figure out a solution. It has been 3 months and I've got nothing but the run around. Be forewarned about this company. Let my mistake prevent you from going down this road. This company is not worth a penny. read more
