Owners of this company are the best!! Everything went so smoothly and they even went out of their way many times for us. We arrived later then we expected and they still met us after hours to set up the trailer. Everything was ready to go when we arrived. My wife and I are very OCD and the inside of the trailer was beyond our expectation. They even upgraded our trailer due to complications with the one we rented. Out friends we were camping with were very jealous of the trailer when they realized someone brings it and takes it away. We will definitely be renting from them again in the future. It's rare that I actually rate businesses online, but I felt compelled to in this case. We tried CampTime Rentals for the first time last month for our annual New Years trip to Pismo Beach/Oceano Dunes. After meeting up with the owners on Pier Ave. to pick up our rental camper, it was immediately clear this would be nothing like the other beach rental camper company we had (miserably) experienced in the past. Pride of ownership was immediately apparent in all aspects, and our typical concerns quickly turned toward excitement of the upcoming week playing in the dunes - in a nice camper (for once). Our 30' camper was clean inside-out and in great shape, which is unusual for a rental unit allowed for beach camping. Over a 6-night stay, we had plenty of room for our group with the huge slide-out, and didn't even use our new outdoor carpets since the unit came with one for the sand. Our Honda (EU3000) generator was brought to keep batteries charged and run 120V coffeemaker/microwave when needed. There was plenty of propane for cooking and hot water, as well as heater that ran all night every night. Fresh water and waste tanks were large enough and did not require refill or pump-out services during our stay - please note we are cautious with resources while dry camping, so your mileage may vary! Owners were nearby and available by phone if needed for any reason, but we never had a reason to call. If you are looking for a rental camper for on-beach camping in the dunes, and are capable of towing the unit to/from your site as we are, I would highly recommend CampTime Rentals over any others we have tried to date. - Jeff & Susie W. read more

My family and i have rented trailers for Pismo Beach many times over the years but had never used CampTime. Brian and Anna are a start act! When i rented the trailer Brian explained how the transaction would work and broke down pricing for me. Then followed up with an email. A week before Brian called to follow up and asked what time we are expecting to be in town. He gave me his cell phone so we could keep in touch and he would work with our schedule. Day of pick up - Brian followed up with us. We kept Brian and Anna posted about our arrival time. Pick up - Brian and Anna took the time to instruct us on how the trailer worked and provided us with a sheet of Tips for the trailer. We had a difficult time hooking up and they worked with us to get it done. Brian even called us after he left to make sure we made it on the beach without issues. The trailer was very nice, almost to nice to have on the beach. It didn't feel like other trailers we rented in the past. The trailer is clean, worked properly and had style. LOVED IT. Big thumbs up for heater and TV. I know we are camping but with 2 small kids it is a necessity! LOL Drop off - Very easy, we called Brian about 1 hour before and they were there for pick. We rented a trailer from Camptime for a week at Jalama Beach. The trailer was brand new, really beautiful and huge. Everything worked perfectly and the beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in while camping (or glamping as my wife calls it). The owner even stopped by our site half way through just to make sure there weren't any issues. Their customer service is top notch. If you look at their payment structure it encourages you to rent for longer periods. After a week the rental the price was less than the competition and the trailer was way better. There is a fee for drop off/pick up and set up. But it's worth every penny to save the gas, time, and stress of towing a trailer down Jalama road. I can't recommend this company enough and we will for sure use them in the future. Here are some tips. If you are camping with just electrical your gray water will fill up. Bring a few 5 gallon buckets ($5 at Home Depot) and use them to drain and transport your gray water to the dump station. They changed the faucet near the sites at Jalama so they aren't threaded to accept a garden hose. I bought a piece of 1" vinyl tubing and two hose clamps and attached one end of the tube to the faucet and the other to the hose. Worked out perfectly. read more

This is the third time renting with them and I gotta say, they are the best RV rental service in SLO! Before the pandemic, we booked for mid July 2020, but had to get cancelled due to COVID-19. However, we contacted them and they told us we could use the deposit we put in for a future reservation. We ended up reserving a 29 ft suite for the weekend of February 26th 2021. It was the perfect size for two people; very clean, everything was working properly and just overall very comfortable and cozy. Brian and Anna were very prompt in having our RV delivered by the time we arrived to our spot and greeted us in a way that felt like family. They were very thorough explaining the policies, gave us a detailed tour of the RV, and left us contact info in case we had any questions or concerns (which we had no concerns). Upon walking in, the trailer was spotless, smelled wonderful given the tropical candle that was lit (which was a very nice touch), utensils, cookware, and cleaning supplies. For anyone trying to go from a family vacation, to a simple couple weekend getaway; camp time rentals will accommodate you while providing the best service and experience!! Can't wait to book with them again in the near future! PS. The summertime is their most busy time so to guarantee a spot, reserve as early as possible!
