Used to go to them and they're terrible. Years ago the dentist put a hole in the back of my crown replacement. This was after months of waiting because we kept having to reorder them because they kept coming back discolored so I was fed up with it and just wanted something permanent in my mouth. I signed all the papers, left the office and when the numbing wore off I noticed I couldn't complete my bite, so I went back in to have them fix it and as he was drilling he put a hole in it. When I complained about it he told me I wouldn't feel it after so long it'd just become natural feeling and it happened because my teeth are so small, I still feel the hole years later. It was basically his way of saying he didn't care and was over it so it was staying the way it was. Second and final straw was going in for a teeth cleaning and not getting my teeth cleaned. All they did was polish them. No flossing, no plaque or tartar removal, no use of any other tools other than a polisher, no recording of the depths of my teeth and gums, etc. ALL of which are supposed to be done with any cleaning. When I complained and reported them they told me to come in for a "complimentary cleaning to make it right". The right thing to do would have been to do your job in the first place before submitting it to insurance. I was upset because I only get one cleaning a year and they didn't even do it! Don't go here unless you want to be scammed and disappointed. 1/10/24- Since I don't have a way to reply to the "feedback" I'll respond here. Perhaps you're wrong in your assumption of the photo I attached, the photo was taken the day I posted the original review 23 days ago, on December 18, 2023, so it's current and still the "new" existing crown you put in my mouth that's still there... Secondly, nothing was done for free as you claim, you billed everything to my insurance and then I paid cash out of pocket for anything insurance wouldn't cover. You would be correct that I chose a color for the crown and then when it arrived on multiple occasions it was completely off and looked nothing like the rest of my teeth so why would I allow that to be put in my mouth? No one wants a tooth that doesn't match the rest and nobody would accept that. It had "to go through lots of adjustment... and be severely trimmed" so it would fit in my mouth and not look ridiculous or mismatch the rest of my teeth and also so I could close my bite. ANYONE who gets a crown put in their mouth would expect this, so it's not like what I asked was beyond normal dental work. Anyone would want their crown to look natural and match the rest. The "tiny spot" you speak of is NOT normal and shouldn't have happened and I can guarantee you yourself wouldn't want to feel a hole in the back of your tooth every single day either. As for the cleaning, you claim you "always do with ultra sound scaler followed by polishing." But I can assure you and every single reader here nothing other than a polisher touched my teeth that day which is why I was so upset and reported you. They never flossed, used a scaler or anything other than green polish and a polisher. Adult prophylaxis (D1110) which you submitted to insurance is defined by ADA as "removal of plaque, calculus and stains from the tooth structures and implants in the permanent and transitional dentition." That can't be done with just a polisher... you need to use other tools to clean the teeth. Every other dentist I've ever gone to has flossed, scaled and polished. You accepted to have me return because you know you messed up and failed to do your job correct the first time. It wasn't just a "spot I might have a concern about" it was my entire mouth was never cleaned, ONLY polished. I shouldn't have to go out of my way to come back in because your staff couldn't do a proper cleaning the first time. At that point I didn't trust you or your staff. In returning to your office, I simply asked for my paperwork and stated I was reporting you to the dental board for failing to perform a service that you submitted to insurance. I was very respectful to the lady at the front desk and pretty sure if you pull up footage you would hear me repeatedly tell her I know it's not your fault, you didn't do any of this, you're just the receptionist. I never threatened, harassed, got aggressive or took advantage of you. In fact, I think it was quite the opposite. It's considered insurance fraud to submit something that wasn't performed and I was upset that I only get one cleaning a year with my insurance and couldn't get it done elsewhere because you had already submitted it even though you didn't do the job. So you took advantage of me, thinking you'd get away with an incomplete job. I wouldn't be shocked if other patients aren't actually getting their teeth cleaned either. read more

Came in for a wisdom tooth extraction. Not gonna lie I was nervous due to my past experience with a different Dentist. The way Dr Ahmed Sabbagh explained the procedure made me feel very comfortable. Everyone had such great experience - I don't know why I had such a bad one. I hate giving negative feedback. I am willing to say that my experience was that I just caught them on a bad day, but I still had a bad experience. I was not happy with this Dentist nor his staff. I won't be returning for a second appointment. The two major complaints I had were that he was very rough when examining my teeth and taking measurements. I was sore for a week after the appt. and I have metal plates from a jaw surgery that are very visible in the X-ray. He never asked me about those plate. I can't believe he didn't ask about those plates! They are not tiny little subtle things. I mean we are talking Frankenstein inside my mouth. He didn't mention them. All dentists say are surprised and ask about them. I still can't believe he wasn't curious. In a hurry maybe. I don't know. That surgery left me with nerve damage that causes a lot of pain in my face and lips. His rough treatment was extra painful for me! The receptionist wasn't very friendly either. I think the receptionist should at least stand to let you know you are being spoken to. Sitting low on her computer means nothing to me. I have hearing problems as many other do, and we need to know when we are being addressed. So then I get X-rays and the Dentist comes in. I have two problems in my mouth that are at risk of becoming infected, I have already been through several rounds of antibiotics so I know the need to be fixed ASAP. But the Dentist seemed to want to get my deep cleaning done first. We argued (he called it discussed) about it awhile and he said I could do what I want. It was a very painful and unpleasant experience for me. I was a late afternoon appointment. Actually not that late now that I think of it. My appointment was at 3pm. I didn't get called back until 4pm. I know this because I had decided that if I wasn't called back after waiting an hour and the receptionist had not explained the Dentist was running late, I was walking out. I was Just getting my stuff tiger to walk out and they called me back. read more

Dr. Sabbagh and his team are amazing! I had an emergency due to an infected molar/crown and they fit me right in at a time that was convenient for me. Dr. Sabbagh stayed a bit later than usual that day to take care of me. He was super polite, sweet, and very informative and I appreciated the fact that he took his time while he was examining my mouth, explaining exactly what he was doing. Never did I feel akward or in the dark and he was very detailed about what work I needed done. I walked out extremely happy (inspite of my pain) and full or knowledge knowing exactly what was happening inside my mouth, even stuff I had no idea were even there. Although I was not able to schedule a follow up, my infection cleared up with the antibiotics I was prescribed and I was feeling better within a few short days. As you can see, I normally do not write reviews. This experience has been so exceptionally awful, however, I am taking the time to warn others. When I first saw Dr. Sabbagh, he took extensive, full-mouth x-rays (the kind your insurance only pays for once every 5 years, if you have it). The 2nd time I saw him, perhaps 8 months later, he took the same x-rays, because now I had insurance, and he could charge them for it this time. 5 years isn't good enough for Dr. Sabbagh; it's every 6 months, or whenever you get new insurance, for him. Wonderfully cautious and professional. He also did not explain to me that I was getting a super-duper special cleaning, which is not covered by insurance (I have Cigna, and they do pay for legitimate cleanings, but not his super-duper special cleaning). I paid what I owed, and now, months later, his office is threatening to send my bill to collections because I did not pay for the super-duper special cleaning that they did without explaining to me the difference. If I owed it at the time, I would have paid it at the time. It is not a patient's responsibility to know more about special procedures than the doctor, nor more about billing than the billing specialist. Dr. Sabbagh wants to ruin my credit, because I paid my bill in full at the time of service, but (months later) did not want to pay the extra fees for their special services not covered by legitimate insurance. (By the way, he will also tell you you have at least a dozen cavities or potential crowns that no other dentist can find. He's very thorough.) What's saddest is that I will probably end up paying these people, just so they don't ruin my chances at buying a home in the near future. Have fun at Campus Dentistry! read more
