as a 71 year old man, I have seen many dentists. Due to different employers and health plans, I've been required to go to "in-plan" providers, which often have felt more like mills, where because they've accepted lower premiums, they have to process more patients in a day, so you get shuttled through without thorough attention. This is not the case with Dr. Kenny Williams and his entry staff. This is obvious when you enter the reception area and there are actual padded chairs and a couch instead of uncomfortable and cheap plastic chairs. You are treated with kindness, respect and comfort. The treatment rooms are comfortable and well lit. The staff and assistants are all very trained and professional as Dr. Williams insists that his patients receive the finest care and in order to do that, the staff has to be happy too. This review is after 8 years of seeing Dr. Kenny Williams, and unfortunately my family and I left under bittersweet conditions. I want to make clear, Dr. Williams does excellent work. My subsequent dentist gave a glowing review. I never felt uncomfortable in the chair. They offer satellite TV to watch, so I normally LMAO while watching Comedy Central. My gripe is with their accounting department. I continued to see Dr. Williams even though he wasn't in my dental insurance's preferred network. Their billing process worked as such: they guesstimated how much the insurance would pay, and I paid the remainder. They would not let me pay after they received the insurance check, even though my family has spent tens of thousands of dollars over our long history there. I didn't have a problem with that, until I found out by calling my insurance company that my insurance company *ALWAYS* paid more than what their estimate was. Consequently, they were collecting more than the actual charge! I understand, a guesstimate is just that, a guess, but I NEVER received a phone call saying, "Hey, we owe you a partial refund." I had to request multiple checks to get my refund. Not only did I have to request the initial repayment, but I had to stay on top of the accounting department with multiple follow up calls. The last straw for me was my final repayment. It took them months to pay me back. When I called to remind them that they never mailed me a check as promised, they mailed me one a week later. Tell me why, that a check for a little over $100 bounced?!? Flabbergasted, I called to tell them. There was no explanation given, merely, "When did you cash it?" I cashed it a month later because I went on vacation for the holidays. So instead of mailing me another check they had me come pick it up, fine, I just want my money. They give it to me in cash, but forgot my returned check fee amount. They couldn't scrounge up $15 for this, not even in petty cash. "We'll mail you a check." OMG A week later they call and ask me to pick up the $15. Third time driving there to get money they owe me, really? FED UP is an understatement! Furthermore, my mother's final straw came over a holiday weekend. Dr. Williams has an answering machine message, if you have a dental emergency, please call me on my cell at xxx-xxxx. Well, my mom had extreme pain at the beginning of the weekend; she called and left two messages for Dr. Williams. He never returned her calls, and subsequently she had to visit an emergency dentist to get a root canal over the weekend. Dr. Williams never did return that call. We noticed after Dr Gray and Dr Williams split, the accounting deteriorated even more. They replaced the high functioning biller with the dental assistant with no billing background........errrr And even after tens of thousands of dollars spent at that practice, all of a sudden they wanted pre-payment before my mother even sat in the chair. Clearly there are huge financial troubles. Maybe they should cut back on the t.v. advertising and billboards... We loved the work, but another dentist now appreciates our business. read more

After my dentist died, I needed a new dentist whose office and procedures weren't stuck in 1976. Lucky for me Dr. Williams was there. My knight with shining white teeth! Seriously though, he's so cool and caring. And he is truly an artist! Although, I've haven't had major work done by him I've seen what he can do in the before and after pictures. Amazing! All the office staff are wonderful too. They are really friendly and caring too. They are always asking me about my family and stuff. The hygienists are very gentle and informative. It's amazing what a difference it makes going to a classy place. I had such a great experience here that now both my mom and husband come here too. This was in Nov 2016..Shady!! The staff was nice however they told me that they were IN NETWORK with my insurance then I get billed because they lied to me! Then they tell me I need SO MUCH WORK done to my teeth, I get a second opinion and they said my teeth were fine. This place wanted to charge me over $6,700! Then I do not call them, answer their phone calls and texts so they said that now I do not need to worry about paying a penny out of pocket..weird, right? The lady who cleaned my teeth really hurt me, tears were falling down my face with the amount of pain she was putting me in. I will never come back to this place. They kept on telling me that they are so surprised that my gums are in such bad condition for my age..this is the only place that has ever said this to me. Clearly it's not true since I've been to 2 other places since them and they have not said those things to me. And this was in Nov 2016..They kept on saying to me let's take advantage of your insurance and get as much as we can out of them because you can only do this once a year and your plan will start back up in January so let's get you in before they screw you over...my insurance renews in October and they should have seen and known that by looking at my info AND I realized why they were saying this to me, because they wanted me to pay out-of-pocket because they lied about being in network with my insurance. I was asked to prepay a deep cleaning and crown work of $1,574.00. I cancelled the procedure many days in advance. Calls to the office were met with excuses like Dr Williams wife handles this "she is out of town", then excuse and no call back. The office said they would refund the money, the bookkeeper had to process the refund. Never pay with a check, they give you the hard sales pitch. The insurance ppl do not check for benefits, the tell you to prepay. Now I get no return calls no refund check. Had my attorneys ask for refund, no check, no call from Dr Williams Office. I have been a patient for 20 years. Small claims court is my next remedy. I trusted them to refund money for no dental procedures. Please do not trust Dr Kenny Williams with your money. Call your insurance company yourself, find out what they will pay. You cannot trust Dr Williams office staff to do it for you. Patricia is leaving office. Nobody is watching or caring for the patients. I ask again Dr Williams refund money due to your patients when you have overcharged them, collected money in advance, if insurance pays money the excess should be refunded to patients. We patients have in good faith trusted Dr Williams with hard earned moneys. What a sham. read more

The services we've received range from deep cleanings, nightguards to prevent grinding, replacing eroded amalgam fillings, whitening kits, crowns, root canals and invisalign. Recently my crown fell out which was over a year old. Thank you for providing excellent service and standing behind your work product by cementing the dislodged crown at no charge. I have to say that I went into Dr. Williams office with a severe ache in my up left side of my mouth. I swore that I needed a root canal or something serious done. After x-rays, Dr. Williams said, "you have no cavities, but you do have a sinus infection." To my surprise, I was so relieved as I've always been very fearful of the dentist. Oh big mistake going with this doctor, I went with him for two front veneers, to fill a gap, he drilled my teeth so much that i had left with two little pieces of tooth, i was on tears when I saw myself in the mirror, he didn't even care when i asked him to stopped drilling more, he made crowns instead of veneers, , I went for veneers for more natural looking I was so mad, when he placed the crowns he didn't even let me see it in the mirror before he put them on, And of course. I hated them. This person only cares about the money, he doesn't work for you, but he works for himself and his bank account only. read more
