Stains on fitted sheet

The room was not very clean. Pulled back the cover on the bed and the fitted sheet had stains on it. Got clean ones and changed them myself. The cover also had stains on it. Threw it on the floor. 1 out of 3 washcloths were also not clean. Toilet paper roll had 4 squares left on it. Another partially used roll was on the counter. The only good thing was the air conditioner worked well. Will not be back.

Pretty Gross, lots of trash and debris around edge of room. And there's a spider in the fridge

OMG!!!!! Book this motel to have a place to stay after a day at the Dells with my family. We DID NOT EVEN STAY. We opted to drive back home after our long day of play. The place is out dated beyond our dated. Smelled of mold, carpet, beds, bathroom all dirty. There was no way we were staying there. Oh and I failed to mention the tv didn't even work( we tried it before leaving). Well that we money wasted as we won't get it back. I took pics and video that I wish I could attach. You will get what you pay for and that's not much.

Pool, a little rough around the edges, but OK.

The rooms all have different names & themes which are lovingly and impressively done. It's a great place for a family gathering as there's loads of outdoor space: 1) large Fire pit in back, 2) Gazebo with lawn games, 3) picnic tables. Then, in front are the BBQ grills and several different-styled patio tables, as well as, 2 colorful nostalgic metal chairs directly outside each room. Lovely landscaping & flowers everywhere. Don't miss the bubbling brook just alongside the South side of the lounge and a peaceful spot to read. We visited Devils Lake Park, a diner in Baraboo, and an escape room in the Dells area. It's nearby lots of attractions. Oh yeah, the family that owns the joint are really nice

We stayed for a long weekend, and and it was the perfect location to get away. The rooms are all themed so when you call to reserve you can pick from the rooms they have available. We stayed in Unit 2, the Devil's Lake room which had photos of Devil's lake. The room included a mini refrigerator, coffee and tea, and alarm clock if needed. Right outside your door they have chairs and tables for enjoying the beautiful weather. They also have grills and an area for bonfires. I was only able to go to the communal area/lobby for the first morning as it was soon closed as they were started to do contactless check in/out. But it seems as though in less COVID-y times they have some coffee or tea there, light breakfast items like mini muffins or breakfast bars and fruit. They also had a communal puzzle and board games. Overall the place is super cozy, perfectly situated for a relaxing vacation with a number of restaurants and small shops to visit in Baraboo.

I did not expect the owners to treat me and my wife like honored guests in their own home, but that's how it is. Very interesting husband and wife team who are very skilled at making a rich experience and tailoring the visit to your interests. The coolest part of the stay for me were the happy hours that Dave hosted. We had a lot of fun swapping stories with Dave and other guests who were also up for some good drinks. Breakfast was also pretty awesome. The manor is a beautiful campus that exceeds the verbal description and pictures. Lots of richness in the back story can be gleaned from conversation with Dave. To be honest, we werent looking for a bed and breakfast or a resort like retreat since we came to do some hiking, do some leaf peeping, and do some tourist stuff with a friend. By the time check out came around, we wished we budgeted more time relaxing at the manor. Definitely plan to book here again next time we do a Wisconsin vacation.

The owner's Dave and Trudy were so much fun! They helped us pick and make reservations at an amazing supper club and local brewery. The breakfast was great too! Dave was always happy to take photos for us and fill our wine glasses too! Both Dave and Trudy kept us laughing all weekend long. I stayed in the Birds Nest room. It was very charming and well appointed. I loved the binoculars that were in all the rooms so you could watch the birds and other wild life on the grounds. There was also a hydro spa tube in the private bathroom which was so relaxing. Overall a fabulous place for a getaway! This was an amazing girls weekend! We are planning on returning next year!

Our check-in process was smooth and we even received a room upgrade. The gentleman behind the counter was nice and quick to offer recommendations on places in the area to dine. Overall for the price and location I would stay again. I would also recommend it to anyone else visiting the area.

I walked away from this person and as i did he was asking me if i believed in god. I went to the front desk to complain and the first thing he asked me is if he was drinking. Turns out it was an employee of the hotel, not the owner. Obviously they are aware of his behavior. My entire stay we always kept our personal belongings with us, not trusting leaving anything valuable in the room. The following day after breakfast, we saw this individual in the lobby, we avoided and ignored him but he followed us, babbling "making money money money" and "tRump is my president". I came to this hotel to relax, not to be harassed and constantly looking over my shoulder. If you are a woman traveling alone, STAY AWAY. If you traveling with children, STAY AWAY. I just want to know why best western would keep an employee like this. Thanks for the very lousy experience.

The room definitely had a musty smell like the carpets hadn't been cleaned in a while. The lobby and hallways had a super strong air freshener smell throughout. This one in Wisconsin Dells was perfectly adequate, but nothing stood out aside from the very pleasant and attentive breakfast crew and the Housekeeping crew on the 4th floor. The rooms are standard SpringHill although a bit dated/worn. The fridge was dynamite though, actually kept my Diet Cokes icy cold! The pool is small, no hot tub, but fine. Free breakfast was standard, with special high marks specifically for the muffins! Well done offering full-size fresh muffins and not those plastic packaged muffins. The front desk was not particularly welcoming, did offer "points" but no welcome gift like a bottle of water or even "Thanks for being Titanium", but I don't really care as I had access to water via cups in the room and SpringHill Suites typically doesn't offer much in terms of Bonvoy perks, compared to a JW Marriott or higher priced options.
