Bottomline: We like Campys. Here's why: First, their calzones are huuuuuuuge! They nearly fill up an entire pizza box! On Mondays, it's $2 off per calzone. We've had the steak, and the Italian. Both had plenty of meat. Some of us liked they steak more; I liked the Italian better (to me the steak needed a little more flavor). But the Italian is messier; there's a ton of grease due to the meat and it coming right out of the oven. My recommendation: put it in the fridge for the next day. You can heat it up in the microwave and it's easier/less messy to eat. Their pizza is actually pretty good. They are not stingy when it comes to toppings, plus they are one of the few places in the area that have green olives (yum). In the past (a long time ago), they screwed up our order and gave us black olives (yuck) but it's been awhile since that's happened. Sometimes the pizza is a little undercooked, but I think it's the cheese that makes it so tasty. The cheese seems to be much creamier than other places. Finally, someone said there are 50% off pizza coupons out there maybe in one of those coupon books; if you find one, it's definitely well worth it. We've also had their gyros. The good: they're also huge, they have thick slices of meat, and on Wednesdays they are only $4.99. The OK: sauce is Ok, as are the veggies. The what-could-be-better: the bread. I think the reason why they are so huge is because the bread appears to be a pizza shell folded in half. For us, the bread was just too doughy. In addition, it's probably better to eat these at the restaurant (they do have tables inside) as the heat wilted the lettuce on the ride home. Don't forget the beer! They have 6-packs and single cans on sale just in case you want to grab one with your meal. And anyplace that has single servings of Helltown Brewery beer is OK by me. Sometimes they have "table specials" (they'll put a couple cans out on one of the tables - 2/$1). They also have wine by the bottle, or little singles as well. I'm not sure what others are complaining about the service either. Maybe things have improved since last year. Every time they told me how long it would take to prepare my order, it was done right on time. I've never had to wait. Finally, kudos to the young man who served us on all our recent orders. He was wearing a mask every single time. read more

I've been passing Campys for years and never stopped, but tonight I decided to give them a try! The pizza was decent. Good cheese to bread ratio and though the sauce isn't something to remember, it wasn't bad. We ordered breadsticks and bacon/cheese fries too. I liked the breadsticks and appreciated the garlic butter. The fries were good and exactly what I expected. I didn't grab beer, but their selection looked good and when we order again, I'll probably grab some! read more

I love Campy's. My parents used to order us a Pig Pie every Friday when I was growing up. I love that the pizza crust is always crispy, and it's always tasty. The Pittsburgh Pizoagie is also one of my favorites. They also added wine to the pretty decent beer selection they have, which I love. Some of the staff is better and more friendly than others, but the food makes up for what they're lacking. The California location is cool too, if you aren't totally annoyed by college kids. read more

Ordered food from here once about a month ago. Told them I found a deal online and told them what it said. They took my order but when I went to pay for it, they charged me almost 3 dollars more than the deal. When I questioned the guy who rang up my order, he actually got upset about it. Cheap pizza for sure but you get what you pay for. It reminds me a lot of Pizza Time in Washington State. My husband told me more than once not to order from them again. I think it's okay when you don't have much money in your pocket and you need a pizza. They've always got something on special. read more

We tried Campy's in Charleroi for the first time.. We weren't impressed. The BBQ Chicken pizza was fine. The sauce wasn't extremely flavorful, but it was all around ok. We also ordered a white pizza. The crust was great. However, the pizza lacked garlic which made it bland. After I added garlic the pizza was good. We ordered boneless wings in sweet and tangy. They were good and had plenty of sauce. Lastly we ordered traditional wings in butter and garlic. Again, there wasn't enough (if any) garlic. The wings were nice and crunchy but VERY bland. The staff were dirty looking people. Not the kind of people you would want preparing your food. It's safe to say we will not be returning. read more

We live right by this place and kept wanting to try it. Finally have had it a few times now, cheese fries and gyros are great!! We haven't tried anything else yet, just those so far and a few times at that. Highly recommend!! Best gyros in town for sure. read more

My daughter and her family live in Florida and whenever they come to Pa to visit loved the pizza and wings here. Not anymore! Our order was messed up 2 days in a row. The first time a pound of wings was not in the bag. The second day they forgot to put a sandwich in the order! The hoagies were hardly baked and were very bland! Definitely not the place I remember! I ordered my meal along with a 2 liter bottle of soda. We literally live 1 min away by car. The driver called...told him where we lived. Took him 15 min to deliver the food. Then, he never delivered our soda. We called. We were told it would be awhile. We NEVER even got our soda. Our poppers were cold. The rest of the food was like warm. The food is average, but the customer service REALLY SUCKS. At times, you try to order delivery and they do not even have a driver. They really need to take customer service 101. read more

Campy's is my all time favorite! The pizoagie's are absolutely amazing and I always get it Pittsburgh style. The pig pie special with 5 toppings is unbeatable. My wife loves the gyro. beware!! worst place i've ever been to!!!!! here's a list of everything they did wrong. 1. card machine was broken, forced to pay $1.75 to take money out of their atm. 2. very slow service. 3. horrible attitude on waitress and manager. 4. waited forever for my food. 5. both of my orders were wrong! 6. said i wanted to eat in, but instead got my food in to go boxes, and then when i mentioned that, the dumb cashier gave me a freaking pizza pan to eat on, not even a plate and fork! 7. i tried to get a refund or my correct order but was told by the manager "we don't give out free food or money" the nerve of her!! she took my food from me, brought it to the back, brought it back out, stacked it in a pile of trash, and then ordered me to continue eating it!! 8. when the unprofessional, uptight, prick, malicious manager wouldn't give me a refund to the correct order, she then orderd me to leave!! i paid close to 14 dollars for my food and didn't even get to eat more than 2 bites of it! this place is dirty, the manager is a pathetic excuse for a human being, the food is horrible, its run completely incorrectly, they have horrible attitudes there, its infested, and they completely scam you!! if you want a good meal with good service, do not eat here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
