It's so nice to see how a place so typical of Greenfield is taking care to give the community a beautiful, renovated, very clean place with the best food to enjoy with friends and family. My Meat Deluxe pizza was delicious, and I had the best chocolate milkshake. The employees seem happy and give off a great vibe.

    Best pizza!

Wow! The food is delicious, probably the best pizza I have ever had and I loved that we had other options off food as well. The Milkshakes are fenomenal, and my kids loves the ice cream options at the end. The place looks great, very inviting and the personal is very friendly. Totally recommend!

First, the pizza here was always hit or miss. Sometimes its ok, and then others it is terrible. I never seen such a inconstant place in making pizza. Second, I went there on super bowl Sunday years back. They forgot to make my order. They told me to wait there. I did. They still forgot to put the pizza in, and after sitting there for thirty mins I asked what was going on, and they forgot again. They didn't even offer a free pie or anything. That was when I stopped going to this place. What really gets me is how they handle their sidewalks. I walk in Schenley every night. It is such a pain to have to walk by this place. The way it is zoned shouldn't be allowed. They have their entrance right up to one of the busiest roads in Greenfield. I almost have to dodge bus mirrors and cars walking by this place. This week they can't even bother to shovel their own walk. Trying to walk by here I almost slipped into the road with cars everywhere. You think a business making money can afford a shovel. As soon as it snows I shovel my walkway as a responsible home owner in Greenfield. Yet this business that can't even get somebody their order twice is unable to do so. Buy a shovel, take some civic responsibility and clean your walkway for the people who live in the neighborhood you do business in. Your sidewalk is a classless mess. Also, if somebody orders a pizza on Superbowl sunday, and you forget about it, and then offer to make them a new one. Remember to make them the new one and don't charge them for it. That mistake is uncalled for.

I had a perfect experience here! Ordered pick-up but ended up just dining in at the restaurant Great pepperoni pizza. Nice and hot, and great pepperoni Perfect chicken tenders. The kind I loved as a little kid. Would definitely come back here to try other menu items. Loved the food and inside was nice and clean!

    Greek pizza

This was the first place I had pizza in Pittsburgh and I'm not sure I'll try any other pizza! I was staying at an AirBnB in the neighborhood within walking distance of Rialto. I decided to make the trek and try their Greek pizza. The Greek pizza is made with Garlic Sauce with Gyro Meat, Tomatoes, Onions, Feta & Mozzarella. IT. IS. AMAZING. It's so good that on another trip to Pittsburgh, I made sure to bring it to a game night to spread the love. On top of delicious pizza, the staff has always been friendly and helpful. The only downside is the parking, but what are you gonna do!?

3 dollars a topping and this is all you get? Eat somewhere else. To your pocket a favor.

The toppings are not worth it ! !!! Give me a break I think pizza should have more toppings when charging almost $3.00 a piece

The boy say thumbs up for Rialto! Great 'za!

I've been coming to this place for a long time, but with the Greenfield bridge out it had been a while. Stopped by today with my son and his buddy after a soccer match...glad we did! Friendly service, and terrific pizza! Hey, the garlic toast with cheese was pretty darn good too! They have a great selection of soft drinks and beer you can choose from as well, and take out. Even ice cream for after! Everyone always talks about Mineo's this and Aiello's that when it comes to pizza in the Squirrel Hill and Greenfield area. I'll take Rialto over them, everytime!

Most bowls are rice, greens, and/or beans based with various vegetables for toppings. Heartier than a salad but healthier than Chipotle. I've gotten lunch there a few times and have always been satisfied. My favorite bowl is El Jefe, which comes with rice, kale, black beans, corn, red onion, avocado, and a protein topping (I like the miso tofu but you can also get chicken). The bowl also comes with cilantro/lime sauce, which I do not get because it's very salty. That's my one complaint about Roots - despite their healthy ingredients, their bowls can get quite saucy and salty if you go with the default options. This particular location is well-staffed, so service is usually quick, but it can get a rush of students around 12pm.

The bowl was good but I was a little disappointed in the portion. Roots is a little bit more expensive than other similar options but I usually don't mind as they often give me a very full bowl, but that wasn't the case with the Gary bowl. It was less full than the bowls I usually get along with being very heavy on the rice and not too much chicken or even the kale. Aside from that it was still yummy but I think I'll be going back to my regular order next time.

The food is good, as long as you go in with the right expectations. This isn't fine dining, but it's a nice take on vegetarian-accessible pub food, slightly elevated. The vegan tofu wrap was nicely done with crispy fried tofu, but it was heavily dependent on the availability of various sauces for flavor. The "disc brake bean cakes" were somewhat unique, but still good when fully assembled with all the relevant toppings. They would probably be better described as black bean crepes with Tex-Mex toppings. I highly recommend ordering several different sauces to go with your meal (buffalo, barbecue, diablo, etc.). We ordered takeout this time, and the overall ordering experience was good. There is an online ordering page, but the items on that page aren't completely aligned with menus on the web site. We ended up calling to place an order, which was still very easy. All the food was well packaged and ready to go exactly when they said it would be. This is a great South Side destination, especially when you're looking for something comfortable and relatively low key but still fun.

It's a bit confusing at first - you don't enter from the "front" of the house; rather, you head around to the back, just off the small parking lot under the balcony. You enter directly into the lovely stone walled bar area that has a decent number of dining tables. There's an upstairs that looks quite different. We - far & away - preferred the downstairs. Much better ambiance. The place was already humming at 5pm! We took the last open table (we had a reservation). Our server came to the table pretty quickly to welcome us, put down menus, and let us know that their draft beer system was on the fritz (what?!) - had been since the day prior. Ack! But they had a really good brown ale in cans from nearby Hazel Grove Brewing, which we had been wanting to try anyway. We ordered our meal pretty soon after, as the place got even busier. But that's when things got a bit harrier. The wait staff got more & more overwhelmed, and the kitchen was overwhelmed, too, clearly as it took 40+ mins for our appetizer to come. But it was good. The goat cheese toast w/ yummy homemade tomato jam. The sliced French bread it was on could've been toasted more - for sure - but the flavors all played really well together. Another 40 mins later, we got our meals, which was fine - we were enjoying each others' company. But we couldn't get our waters refilled to save our lives, & it took forever to get another round of beers. People at other tables were getting restless waiting, too. Three of the 4 of us ordered fish & chips for dinner. The fish was huge - beer battered haddock. The tartar sauce - homemade- was mild and flavorful. The hand cut fries were good, but my sisters-in-law substituted with sweet potato fries - and those were *really* good. My hubs got the bangers & mash which he said "wasn't bad." The peas were fresh and good, and he really liked the mashed potatoes, but sausage was just "meh," he said. No one came to clear our table as people finished their dishes. The 1st beer glasses sat on the table, as did our appetizer dish. As a group, we ordered bread pudding to share for dessert. To my shock, the server was actually going to cram it onto our table with ALL the dirty dinner/appetizer dishes still there! I said, "No no. We need to have these taken away." We started stacking dishes for him to remove. I mean, yuck! We were trying to give the guy the benefit of the doubt on some of the other stuff - he was totally crushed under an avalanche of customers - but that was a bridge too far. As for the dessert - it was a huge serving with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream & a swirl of caramel on top. I thought it was a bit like eating a good apple pie, but my fam wasn't impressed at all (they all love bread pudding). One sis-in-law said it was way too firm and just seemed like the ingredients had been buzzed up and mashed together. BUT --- it was a good night, and we'll be back. I think we would opt for a week night, instead. Hopefully, it will be a bit less busy. And definitely, we want to try the patio. It looks really quaint with all the white twinkle lights. The parking situation is a bit tough for anyone with special needs. One sis got the one (I think) handicap spot near the door (the other small handful of spots were taken); the other sis had to park up a rather steep hill (she waited while we retrieved her car for her when we were done). There's a decent amount of street parking, but I don't know what that situation is like if you come after 5p/530p.
