I have used Rialto Pizza for more than a decade for work meetings. They have never let me down. The students all enjoy their pizza, and I enjoy how easy they are to work with. Recently, I just started using them on a weekly basis. The owners have been fantastic to work with. They appreciate our business and let me know it. They take care to do some "little extras" that I have asked them to do with nary a roll of the eye! It is wonderful working with them. The quality of the food is as good as it ever was. The students still enjoy the pizza very much. Kyle, their driver, does it all. He is efficient, kind, courteous, and has always been on time. He, too, puts up with my "little extras" request. I cannot express the love I have for this place. It's the best local pizza in Pittsburgh and more than that, the wings, burgers, and hoagies are phenomenal. I am really picky with what I eat and they are willing to fulfill the strangest cravings with no issue. They have amazing staff and they even recognize my orders so it feels like they are extra caring and it truly brings out the small business community that we need more of in the world. First, the pizza here was always hit or miss. Sometimes its ok, and then others it is terrible. I never seen such a inconstant place in making pizza. Second, I went there on super bowl Sunday years back. They forgot to make my order. They told me to wait there. I did. They still forgot to put the pizza in, and after sitting there for thirty mins I asked what was going on, and they forgot again. They didn't even offer a free pie or anything. That was when I stopped going to this place. What really gets me is how they handle their sidewalks. I walk in Schenley every night. It is such a pain to have to walk by this place. The way it is zoned shouldn't be allowed. They have their entrance right up to one of the busiest roads in Greenfield. I almost have to dodge bus mirrors and cars walking by this place. This week they can't even bother to shovel their own walk. Trying to walk by here I almost slipped into the road with cars everywhere. You think a business making money can afford a shovel. As soon as it snows I shovel my walkway as a responsible home owner in Greenfield. Yet this business that can't even get somebody their order twice is unable to do so. Buy a shovel, take some civic responsibility and clean your walkway for the people who live in the neighborhood you do business in. Your sidewalk is a classless mess. Also, if somebody orders a pizza on Superbowl sunday, and you forget about it, and then offer to make them a new one. Remember to make them the new one and don't charge them for it. This was the first place I had pizza in Pittsburgh and I'm not sure I'll try any other pizza! I was staying at an AirBnB in the neighborhood within walking distance of Rialto. I decided to make the trek and try their Greek pizza. The Greek pizza is made with Garlic Sauce with Gyro Meat, Tomatoes, Onions, Feta & Mozzarella. IT. IS. AMAZING. It's so good that on another trip to Pittsburgh, I made sure to bring it to a game night to spread the love. On top of delicious pizza, the staff has always been friendly and helpful. I normally always enjoy Rialto but yesterday when I ordered my pizza, I came home and the cheese fell off the pizza with all the toppings and I noticed that it was a reheated cheese pizza that looked like it was made a day before I bought and it looked like they just threw cheese and toppings on top of it and throw it back in the oven. Rialto is my go-to place for pizza in the East End of Pittsburgh. I love the options at Rialto: pizza to sandwiches to salads to appetizers to desserts and more. The food is high-quality and the service is always prompt and polite. On a recent visit I ordered the tossed salad (cuz veggies are important). I was pleasantly surprised to find that this wasn't the standard pizzeria salad (ie iceburg lettuce with whole black olives). The lettuce was crisp and fresh (a nice green leaf lettuce) with peppers, cheese and a breadstick. We ordered a small personal pan for the kiddo and a Sicilian pizza for ourselves. The Sicilian was great - a great crust with a perfectly seasoned sauce. Here are a few of my tips: - Come for the pizza, stay for the rest. The menu is big and everything is good. Why not get something in addition to your pizza? - Rialto's has a surprisingly great beer selection. I was on the fence with Rialtos for a long time. It seems you can get decent pizza just about anywhere now a days and it's all pretty interchangeable for me. It wasn't until I had their hoagies that I was sold for life. Honestly. I lived in New York City for 12 years and I had trouble finding a really good Italian sub when I moved back here and now I can't get enough. Just moved into the area and decided to try the Rialto House pizza to see what this place was all about. Was not disappointed. Order for pickup, ready in 15 minutes. We walked over and took a look at the beer selection. $12.99 for a 6 of Magic Hat, not bad. Walked the pizza and beer home and was very happy with the pair. It's your typical local pizza spot and I'm happy to say this is very good and will frequent it when I'm in the mood for a slice. Good service. Decent beer selection. And really tasty. Stopped here after a baseball game for Pizza with the kiddos! The pizza was pretty good! Breadsticks were also fresh and tasty! Its a pizza shop, so there's not much else to report.
