Good pizza compared to other places in town. This is my 3rd time at this pizza place. The perks are that they have many different flavors and they're open up late if you need some food after a night of drinking, lol. This visit I had white pizza and meatball and banana peppers. I also got a salad. The slices were a little dry but still good. Both had good flavor. The salad was simple but a good side dish to the pizza. The restaurant has places to sit down and eat inside or you can get take out. I would come back again.

This place has a solid NY style pizza. If you are a fan of thin crust, this is your place! The single slices are HUGE, and we would have just grabbed a couple of them if we had seen them first, but we ended up getting a whole pie. Pepperoni was delicious (though not the "cup" kind you get in a lot of WNY places.) Definitely NYC style.

Summary: While I haven't ordered any full pizzas from Cams yet, I have gone in on numerous occasions to get slices. While the everyday slice variety could be better (Cheese, Pepperoni, Mushroom), they do have Daily Special Slices and my guess would be that they'd throw peppers or other veggies on a cheese piece for you. The pieces I've had seemed fresh enough, although admittedly it'd be a bit hard to tell since they put them in an oven to crisp the crust and warm them up. Price: The slices are a couple bucks and are pretty large. Two is always enough to fill me up. Taste: Pretty standard pizza, and while it's not bland, it's not going to win any awards. It's a standard, thin-ish crust, light sauce pizza with a crispy crust. The specialty pieces I've had include Chicken Bacon Ranch and Cheeseburger, and both were good enough that I'd get again. Atmosphere: The sit-down experience is decent, but sometimes it feels a little cramped. The floorplan, being a storefront in a historic district, isn't as spacious as you'd like it to be. Occasionally the tables are a little dirty, but nothing horrendous. Come at a slightly random time between meals though and none of this is a problem. The staff is always nice. Overall: I live close and can walk, so perhaps I'm biased, but I really like Cams. I'd lean more towards the high end of a 4 if I hadn't been to the Cams in Irondequoit, which has 8 or so varieties every day for slices, including Buffalo Chicken. Still good though if you want a slice of crispy pizza!

Cam's describes itself as "New York Pizza". Which, technically, it is, being in New York State and all. But if you are expecting to get that thin, floppy, soft crust that is the hallmark of New York City, think again. Not that the pizza is bad, mind you, it actually was quite delicious. But this crust is very fat and bready, with a lot of butter flavour. Not quite like the citified version. 23 toppings are offered along with other menu options, like subs, pasta and salad. If you are in the area and you want delivery in the off season, be prepared for an hour + wait. Things go a bit slower in upstate NY than what maybe you are used to.

Average pizza. Meatballs were good. Salads were pretty disappointing tho. Delivery was on time.

If you want real Buffalo wings, this is it. Garlic knots: Unfortunately, I can't say the same any longer about the garlic knots. Previously drowning in herby butter and serving as the perfect accompaniment to the wings above, it seems there's been a change in recipe. First of all, 3 of the 4 knots in my order had raw, stretchy centers. The outsides were golden and still brushed with herb butter, but now there's a healthy sprinkling of shredded cheese that adds a strange taste. Ordered takeout and my wings were still perfect after the journey home. Hoping for a better experience in the future with my beloved garlic knots. The employee who took the phone order seemed very confused by basic requests, as well.

Fast forward to my lunch break a couple months later and i wanted something quick. I go in and order two slices of pizza off the shelf. The gal hands me the cup for a Coke. I fill my cup, return to the counter, she hands me my box, and I leave. I get all the way back to work only to realize she charged me for two slices and only gave me one. On my lunch break I don't have time to go back and correct it. Never coming here again.
