After touring Hobart college, we were on the hunt for a quick pizza joint. Lots of mixed reviews on Yelp. We settled on Cam's and ordered a large pepperoni pizza and took it to a nearby park. Robust red sauce, flavorful pie, and plenty of leftovers for breakfast. What more could we ask for? Made us feel like we were fellow New Yorkers. Wouldn't hesitate to eat there again. read more

White garlic is the way to go. The slices are huge, you can get away with only one and not be hungry afterwards. The slices are reheated in the oven and come out with a slightly crispy crust. The crust is delicious, and the white garlic is not overwhelming like some places. The plain cheese is also really good. French fries are curly fries, but they have no seasoning on them. They come in a good size portion and are always crispy. This is definitely the best pizza in Geneva, hands down. read more

We were very excited to find a place open late night and get some pizza as we came up from DC for a friends wedding. When we arrived we ordered some pizza and wings and could not wait to chow down. After we came in others also ordered and we decided to wait indoors for our take out food. After waiting 30 minutes and watching others who had ordered food leave with theirs, we decided to walk up and ask about our order. Mind you we were a group of 8+ gay men. When we went to check, they hadn't even put in the mozzarella sticks or wings into the frier, nor had they taken the pizzas out. I asked to speak to the manager and he still had not explanation. I tried to cordially ask why the food was taking so long and within his explanation I watched as one of the 7 employees in the kitchen went to the freezer to take out mozzarella sticks to cook (mind you this is 25+ minutes after we ordered.) The whole ordeal was completely inappropriate and embarrassing as friends of ours walked out with food 10+ minutes before us as they ordered 5+ minutes after us. They offered NOTHING to make up for the unfortunate circumstance. They made us feel inadequate and I will never be going back to this homophobic Geneva pizza establishment. I can't believe the type of service we encountered and hope nobody has to experience it again. Please rebrand yourself and take a look internally at your employees. read more

I'd give Cam's 2.5 stars if it was available. My boyfriend and I went on a 8/11/14. We were new to the area and picked Cam's based on other Yelp reviews. I am going to start with the negatives and finish with what I liked about Cam's. It is not the type of place where you can expect a lot of attention. You order your pizza and they sort of just plop it down on your table with some paper plates and plastic silverware. It can be difficult to find parking in the area although the restaurant is in a relatively small city. The place is a little unkempt. Although they claim to be NY style pizza this is not true because the crust is to thick. However what I liked about Cam's (after you got past the fact it wasn't actual NY style) was taste of the pizza. It had a good amount of grease and gooey cheese. It tasted good warm and cold something that truly marks a quality pizza. read more

I've live in geneva ny and we have about 5 or 6 pizza places besides the typical franchise box places. I've tried them all and cams is by far the best. What I love about them is the then crust. You're getting the good New York style big piece that you gotta fold in half to eat. You have limited choices when it comes to toppings which is fine with me. My personal opinion is get the slices and not a whole fresh pizza. The reasoning for this is the slices have been sitting there 1/2 to 3/4 cooked and the cheese was melted and re solidified, then when you pick a slice they recook it in the oven giving it that double baked flavor. When you order a fresh pizza it doesn't have the same flavor. This goes with any pizza place not just cams. read more

I've always had great pizza and subs from here. The slices you order at the counter always seem to taste better than take out for some reason though? Only down side to sitting inside is that you often leave smelling like a deep frier- ventilation is not great. The food is definitely worth it though. Fried dough is a must for dessert! read more

While I enjoy the food I ordered delivery for the first time from here today. I ordered five minutes after they opened and it took them an hour and a half to deliver one stromboli and a soda. The stromboli was soggy from sitting, but warm at least and the soda was not what I asked for. I will never order delivery from here again. When I called and spoke with the driver they kept saying about a large order that had to be delivered. Never had such a crap experience. read more

By far the best NY style pizza in the area, If you want the paper thin, hold it up to the light and read through it style you have to ORDER it that way. Their regular crust is slightly thicker and chewier, still good but not their best. You have to order the slices, or the "slice pie". Being from the NYC area I am always searching for real NY pizza, but hardly ever actually find it outside of New York. This is as close as your going to get! The pizza is great, and the wings are pretty good as well. Living in Philly for the last few years has made me miss and appreciate NY pizza more... Cam's is one of those restaurants that is considered a classic in Geneva, but honestly, it does not live up to the hype. I have never had their slices, but I will say that their pies are not very good if they're going for NY style thin crust. They are very bready...thick..to the point where that's all you can taste. The cheese has no flavor at all (maybe it's masked by all that bread dough?) and the sauce tastes like something boring out of a can. I have ordered pizza from here 3 times now, hoping that maybe I just had bad luck, but I think I can confidently say that it's just not great pizza. Let me drop some knowledge about Cams pizza of Geneva. I just experienced cams for the first time in a while, and I say experienced because going into the establishment is like Christmas morning. The delicious smells of dough and sauce sends me back to times of Italian lust. The cheese is so fresh I'm willing to bet money that they have cattle in the back of the place which they use to get milk and make fresh mozzarella. The wings were crispy and cooked to perfection. The place had baja blast.... I thought that was limited time only! That itself is worth a 6th star. The service was also on point. I'm talking Olympic level archery on point. The young woman at the counter was dabomb.com. She derives a raise for her praise. And to top it all off, As if my experience wasn't already 10/10, I found a penguin drawn on my pizza box. A penguin, which just so happens to be my favorite animal. This one goes to you Cams. Keep it real and keep it right!! read more
