Dario's always hits, no matter what we order. My wife I and live in the area and we probably order from Dario's more than anyone should. First, the family who runs the restaurant are always so pleasant and friendly. It's always nice to see them interact with each other, along with the kids playing around the restaurant. I do not think we have ordered a single bad item from here. Their pizza is always nice and fresh with great ingredients. Our go to's are usually a traditional pie with sausage and mushrooms or their taco pizza. The pizza always has a nice crunch with the perfect ratio of toppings. Their subs are another staple for us. You can't go wrong with either their cold or hot subs. As for their cold subs, all of the ingredients are always fresh, and they are piled high with meat. Ordered a large chicken Parmesan sub for pick up. The order process was easy and they had me in the system. I was given an estimate of 20-25 minutes. This was spot on and my order was ready to go when I arrived. The dining area was out of sorts and did not give a welcoming environment for anyone who may have wanted to eat in. There were personal items strewn about and it looked like someone's messy apartment. I ordered takeout and would not be eating there, but I did find this off putting. My food was wonderful. I've had worse. Not in a while, but i have had worse. So, first, my companion ordered the Taco Salad. She is still trying to figure out what defines taco, because, it was a simply garden salad. Minus utensils... I ordered an Italian "sub". Now, I know large swaths of misinformed neanderthals call hoagies a sub, but, okay, so it's a sub... And we all know the roll (bun, bread) makes the sandwich... Sadly, the roll around this hoagie, er, sub, is reminiscent of those two ends no one eats in a loaf of store brand white bread, only drier and less tasteful... The fillings, the ham, cappicolla, salami, provolone, oil, lettuce, tomato, yea, not bad actually. A decent roll and I wouldn't have thrown away 60% of this, okay, sub... That said, I know this isn't sandwich world, but not much effort shown here. The store is rundown and dirty with miscellaneous sporting goods, balloons, half empty cups lying around, and threatening signs abound; one proclaiming the employees know how to make sandwiches so don't lean on the counter, another warning of a ridiculous $50 fee for returned checks (checks, in a sandwich shop in 2023?), and others, each scribbled in magic marker on butcher's paper. So I called in a pickup order, actually waiting for it right now Didn't eat in, didn't get served, just picking up - no delivery So I throw them a couple bucks for a tip. The guy who ran my card has the RUDE reaction of looking at my slip, laughing, going to adjust the total then comes right next to me and mutters loudly "oh 10%er right here I see that's fine" Is he fucking serious? I only gave 3 stars because I like their pizza - which is a shame because they just lost my business. The pizza is okay, but nothing stands out. The crust is much thicker than a "new york style" pizza should be. The sauce is also kind of bland. I would put it above the big chain pizza places but not any higher. The garlic parmesan wings were nice and crispy but light on the parm. Delivery was fast and they run some good coupon deals. I have purchased slices on many occasions at this pizzeria as it is close to where I work. I have noticed the lack of cleanliness, but I enjoyed their thin crust pizza so I overlooked it. During one visit, an employee took the spatula that he was going to use to put my slice in the oven and literally scraped both sides on the edge of the counter (filthy) to remove the stuck on cheese and then proceeding to pick up my slices. I said, "really?" and he basically sneered. At this most recent visit, today, the same employee very rudely said (with no "excuse me" or anything of the like) "there is a sign saying not to lean on the counter". I had my elbow on the shoulder high counter facing the filthy waiting area - not leaning over or even breathing on it. I said, I am sorry - didn't see the sign which was knee high taped to the counter 10 feet away which said, "Don't lean on the counter - our employees know how to make the food". He looked as mean as could be and spoke with such inconsideration that I told him I would not come back due to his tone and he said he didn't care and that I was only getting a slice anyway. The owner came out and another employee whispered to him and the owner told me I was rude. I told him that his employee was very rude and the employee started throwing f bombs at me and said he said "excuse me" four times! I was aghast and told the owner I come in here all the time and he replied that I only get slices and threw f bombs at me too!! Very good pizza- thin crust, New York style that's dripping with grease and an above-average amount of cheese. Pepperoni is peppery and more flavorful than the typical slice. They're open for lunch and have slices available. Garlic bread is good too. It's my place to go for pizza when I'm in Farmington. The service is only so-so, however. Not bad by any means, and never unfriendly, but in my experience they don't tend to want to chat or to be overly warm. That's okay, but it doesn't sell me on them. read more

Do not and I mean do not waste your time with this place. They have lost my business forever!!! I work across the street from here and we like to order subs from there frequently. Today I placed my order to pick up at 11:50 AM. The guy on the phone tells me it will be ready in 25 minutes. Twenty five minutes later I get there to get my order and it's not ready. It looks like there was only one guy working which is the same guys there all the time with not much of a personality. He may be the owner. At first I felt bad for him because it was quite busy and there were a lot of people waiting for their food. But that changed after the guy started cussing and slamming peoples food around and slamming whatever he could find. He never once told me my subs hadn't been started yet or apologized for the wait. All he did was give me dirty looks for standing at the counter as he continued to slam stuff around and say the "F" word. So very unprofessional!! I felt so uncomfortable and I should have just left. Shortly after another kid walked in and started helping. He took my money but never told me that my subs still hadn't been started. I then proceed to ask him how much longer as I only get a half hour break and it was almost over. He replies rudely well as you can see we are pretty busy right now and they will be ready as soon as we can get to them. Meanwhile, I have other customers come up to me shaking their head and saying how rude and unprofessional these employees were being. The one guy told me he waited a half hour for his salad. Just uncalled for. So today will be the final and last time this place will get my money. They have lost my business forever and I will make sure everyone I know does not waste their time or money at this place!! read more

Pizza was good, but skimpy on the toppings, shaved mushrooms and not too many, sweet peppers chopped tiny and not too many. The new owner should change the name, they do not come close to the original Dario's. The last order I had was for French bread pizza that was not cooked enough and onion rings, these were delivered and got here cold. read more

I was in town for business and decided to give this place a try since it was close to my hotel. I'm glad that I did, because the Chicken Parmesan sub was fantastic! You get a large amount of food for a relatively decent price, and the staff are cool and easy going. If I'm ever back in the area again, I'll definitely be making another food run here. read more

We were visiting from out of town, read a couple reviews and decided not to try the first place listed as someone suggested their manager needed to be punched in the face. Rude. This was excellent, very italian based taste to their food. Our wings were cooked to perfection!! Our meatlovers pizza was delicious! I'll start off by saying I will NEVER order from this place again. I ordered from them because they were open the latest in he area and I was hungry. The pizza was decent, it was delivered to me but was not hot. It tasted fine and was exactly how I ordered it, so no complaints there. When I called and made my reservation, nobody asked how I would be paying, and I didn't think to offer. The delivery boy just about knocked my door down and attempted to come inside upon me opening my door. I informed him I have dogs and would like to interact outside, he was less than thrilled. I handed the boy my card and he was an ass and asked what he's supposed to do with it. I told him I wanted to pay for my food. He said I would have to call it in. My cell was with my so I proceeded to call, he got irritated and told me to do it later and just sign my invoice so he could leave. I did so, he ripped the paper out of my hand, causing a paper cut, and then yelled at me to have a nice "f******" night. I still have no idea what his problem was. My husband heard the commotion and came outside, the boy drove away telling my husband the same phrase. By this time my palm was bleeding, I called the manager and informed her of the problem. She offered to give me half off my next order. Since I was refusing to order in the future she gave me half price off my pizza. I was supposed to get a callback from the owner or gm of the restaurant for my satisfaction, and never did. I will never be ordering from this place again. The worst pizza boys name is BRIAN.
