Butter Chicken Pizza - 1 Medium 12" Pizza
    Philip P.

I enjoy the Indian pizzas here a lot. Butter chicken pizza is a solid choice for me and I tend to rave about it quite a lot. Do not get the traditional American pizzas here. Even if your kids ask for it, do not do it. Stick with the Indian pizza. You won't regret it. Your kids may even thank you. Like, don't be a basic B and only eat a pepperoni pizza. You're not at Domino's or Pizza Hut. You're at a Can Am that's run by Indian folks that knows Indian food and wants to put it on some MF-ing pizza dough. It's amazing! Be adventurous! Live a little!

We almost always order the butter paneer masala pizza here. Probably the best Indian pizza place in the surrounding Seattle/Bellevue/Redmond area. I find the veg pizzas here tastier than the non veg counterparts like the butter chicken pizza. The crust is really soft which is topped with a creamy masala sauce, the paneer is well seasoned. The pizza also comes with a white dip (which is like a mix between an Indian Raita and a Tzatziki sauce) which pairs well which the pizza. The spicy pizza option doesn't seem legit since they just top your pizza with jalapenos instead of a spicer pizza sauce. Pro tip: The x -large pizza here is probably the most value for money. The pizza tastes much better the next day, so don't worry if you have leftovers.

Unsafe quality. I order a pizza at this place and there is a glass piece in it. Worst

Ordered non spicy butter chicken pizza and garlic chicken calzone. Hmm debating whether to give this place 4 stars or not but decided against it. It was an okay pizza and a good calzone but I also ate it while very hungry so I don't think I would have been impressed if I wasn't starving.

This was a reliably good pizza option that we had during our Bothell stay. While I've had indian pizzas before, I would say this doesn't deliver the same degree of flavor. However the pizza was ready quickly and warm. The paneer was my favorite part of the pizza!

Can't find Butter chicken pizza anywhere else! This pizza is delicious, perfect spice and flavor. Don't have any problems with it. Maybe the chicken can be bigger or they can add a bit more but that's no problem. Crust is good, good balance of the different sauces.

I am a huge Can Am fan and not just of this location but Kent and Bellevue one as well. Definately try their butter chicken pizza and the butter paneer masala pizza. They both are clear winners. Super tasty and so fresh and filling.. you can see they make their dough fresh and so are the sauces freshly made.. wish they had a nice larger seating area but well as long as they deliver consistent quality great food i am not complaining..

Looks much better than it is.

There is one thing that makes or breaks a pizza and that's the crust. We ordered a Pepperoni pizza and a Hawaiian pizza. While I thought the sauce was mediocre and the toppings were scarce, it was the crust that sunk the ship. It's a spongy crust. A good pizza has a complex, chewy crust that has been 'aged' for a few days in refrigeration. It's what separates a good crust from a mediocre crust. Well, this crust wasn't even a throw together, kneed, let rise once, then stretch out and use crust, I'm not sure it even has yeast in it - maybe it does, but it was just a complete fail with my family. So, we ended up giving a lot of the pizza to the crows who hang out in our backyard - they enjoyed it. Sadly we're still in search of a good pizza restaurant that delivers in our area of Bothell.

Nice place to get Indian style/ topping pizzas. We've tried the dine in, take-out and home delivery options and have had a good experience. Service has always been good - on time and courteous. The Karahi chicken pizza is one of my regulars and one of my favorites. Rich, spicy flavors and a generous amount of chicken and veggie toppings. The karahi paneer is also good. What goes really well with the spicy flavors, is the dip - which tastes like raita (yogurt with Indian seasoning). Good value for money ! I wish they'd open a store in downtown Seattle soon :)

Coming to the food, I specifically went for the happy hour chaat platter. I reached around 6:56 PM, and the platter is only available from 5 to 7 PM. Initially, I could not find it on the menu, and our assigned server was different. However, Rohan recognized us from our previous visits and came over. When I mentioned I was there just for the chaat platter, he kindly checked and found the menu for us. He let us know it would take about 20 minutes to prepare, which we were completely fine with. The platter arrived in about 20 to 25 minutes, and it was absolutely worth the wait. Everything from the bhel puri, pav bhaji bites, samosa chaat, to the sandwich was delicious, flavorful, and very satisfying. The chai was also really good. Highly recommend this place for both the vibe and the food. We will definitely keep coming back.

Their cuisine is very specific. - goat biriyani and goat curry are delicious. I also liked their meat to rice ratio for the chicken biriyani. CONS: - outrageous prices for the amount of food. I ordered goat curry and the size of the container was way small. Giving me an entry sized dish in a side dish container is an immediate issue for me. I paid over 80 worth of food and feel lit was not worth it. The goat curry had a lot of large bones too so that made it worse. I got more bones than meat. - overtly spiced and too salty. I liked their goat dum biriyani but did not like the rest. The biriyani appears to be over spiced that's not completely simmered, cooked down or blended. You're essentially eating straight up spice which is pretty gross. This is a personal preference, I like my dishes spicy but I don't like it overwhelmingly spicy where it overtakes the dish and all you're tasting is uncooked blend of spices that heat up your stomach & hurts digestion. Others may like their dishes as is. I'm not in that boat. - I paid $8 for goat haleem that was given in a tiny sauce container. that was so not worth the money or the dish. Their prices are completely off. I don't recommend this place, my search for decent biriyani from regional places continues. I just went authentic biriyani that tastes good, is reasonably priced, with good meat to rice ratio. It's 2026 people, shouldn't be this hard!

I've almost never met a Grape Leaf dish I didn't like so I had to try their version. They did an amazing job with the aesthetics, using a creamy vegan tahini sauce to really bring this dish to that next level. I also ordered Baba Ghannoj. Surprisingly, they advised their pita bread is not vegan but they gladly substituted roti instead, super flavorful and great mix of textures dancing around on the palette. For a main dish, I heard their "Vegetarian Thali" dish calling to me (but thankfully, it didn't call me Seymour .. .. .. ), giving me the opportunity to try a myriad of flavors and combinations. Given that a couple of components weren't vegan, they were graciously able to accommodate .. and provide me with a fully vegan ncombination of (from left to right) Aloo Chana, Dal Maharanji, Aloo Gobi, Basmati Rice and more delicious roti bread. It's probably my favorite cuisine. I hold each visit to a place to a high standard and here at Shahi, it's just passable. My first visit I got my usual Butter chicken. Not bad, but the curry flavor is really good, but the actual chicken seems lacking, as in literally, just more curry than anything. The Garlic Naan is both times hit the mark and are fairly generous with four decent sized pieces. Most recent I got the Tikka Masala which had a nice kick that I asked for, but the chicken again I feel like could've been more plentiful. I tried some of my friends Paneer Masala which was decent. We also go the "Mix Delight" - "A selection of Samosa, Chicken Pakora, Chicken Tikka and Beef Kabob. Served with cilantro and tamarind chutneys." This was fine as sort of a sampler but there was exactly one samosa, one beef kabob and lots onion for some reason. At $22 and as an "appetizer" I found this to be pretty lackluster. My last complaint is that there was some sort of celebration going on here. The banquet room next to the dining area was full. They had one guy taking and checking out take-out orders as well as tending to the tables, there were two families dining in and 4 of us looking to do take out. It took several minutes for him to even show up because he was so busy. Was he in the back cooking too?? Really, get this guy some help. Shahi has room for improvement and my buddy, and I more than likely will return to get our Indian fix, especially me, but beyond the passable food, the portions just seem a bit off.
