I'm so grateful for the Cañada Tree Care service. The recent wind and fire left our street looking like a war zone with huge fallen trees, branches and debris. These guys came out to volunteer cleanup I was so touched. They came with great spirits, cleaning up so efficiently and swiftly, I was so grateful. The wind left us with a huge tree split against our garage and we were struggling to cut it ourselves and these guys stopped by to help us out. It took them less then15 min to cut and remove. It would've taken us a whole day, If not more. We were so grateful and touched. The volunteers not only provided us support, they also left us strength of the community and warmth. I was really pleased with Canada Tree Care. I obtained several quotes to remove some trees and trim some bushes immediately upon moving in to my new home because some of the trees and bushes were obstructing the windows and leaning precariously over the pool. Canada was able to give me a great price and do the work immediately. That was huge for me as this was the first step before I could get my windows cleaned and screens installed. (See my review for The Screen Genie re: new window screens.) Two trucks of guys showed up and they worked so fast I couldn't believe it! (They also rescued a baby raccoon from the pool and helped him return to his home.) The foreman, Ramiro, was great. We walked around first to ensure that he understood exactly what I wanted and how I envisioned the trees and bushes looking at the end. As the project went on, he checked in with me and also made sure I was happy with the end result. I couldn't believe how much they got done in two hours and the yard ended up looking great. Incredible job tree trimming. Our huge Ash tree will live on now, and I don't have to worry about the next wind storm. The crew were right on time, had to suit up due to two bees nests in the tree. Cañada tree care was amazing. This was their second time they came over we needed additional trimming for our backyard tree, and we decided to have our front trees trimmed more. This is an addendum to my previous review. The night after the trees were trimmed, one of the trees that had lights in it did not light up. Also, several of the lights had been dislodged and were hanging down from the branches. I notified Mike, and he was sympathetic and responsive. The day after I notified him, he sent a handyman to fix the lights and reposition them in the tree. In this time when companies sometimes "hit and run", Mike was there for me. Accidents happen. He was responsible and fixed the problem promptly. This is the kind of company you want to deal with. read more

Let me start this by saying I did not contact this company directly. Some neighbors of a client of mine highly recommended Your Way Tree Service which is who I called, but unfortunately in La Canada they contract with this company who completely dropped the ball. I scheduled an estimate appointment with Your Way for a Wednesday. First someone showed up at my house on a Monday unannounced and kept knocking on the door with only my elderly mother at home who got scared. She told me he was driving a yellow SUV with Canada Tree Care on the side and was older. I was put off wondering how a company I didn't contact was knocking on my door without even the courtesy of a call. When Wednesday came around and it was time for my appointment the same car showed up with the same man and I was completely confused. No one told me Your Way sublets and I didn't know it until I went to the Canada Tree Care site. Anyway, I showed the gentleman to the area in question and rather than even let me explain what we wanted he proceeded to tell me what they were going to do (which was beyond the scope of what we needed done). He then said he ran out of estimate sheets and would text me the quote all while walking away to his car. I never got a word in and never got that text either. Completely ghosted. I thankfully found another company a couple of days later who came out the next week to complete the work. As for Canada Tree Care, I like companies to take me seriously and listen to me, and this wasn't it. read more

We lost a large limb of our elm last night and it hit our neighbors' car. Mike came on a holiday weekend and gave us a great quote. The limb was cut down, neatly piled for us to get rid of (they were willing but it saved us money), and the large limb cut into fireplace sized logs. They cleaned our yard and our neighbor's yard. The Cañada Tree Care crew trimmed and took off a lot of weight on our huge sycamore and it looks great. They were extremely efficient from start to finish with two men up high trimming while the crew below was shredding and then the clean up. To assure safety, Mike rents a bucket truck for his crew. Can not recommend this local company unfortunately. Overpriced and do not provide the work you pay them for. The workers he brought in left their lunch trash all around our property! Sprinkler fixes we paid extra for never did work. Dead brush that we paid to have cleared were barely trimmed. After calling a few times to ask for the work to be completed we finally gave up, had to write off a large amount of money. Don't waste your time or money on this company. read more
