When we walked in, we were kindly helped by the salesman named Farman. We told him what we were looking for and he directed us to an undercounter fridge that met our requirements. They had an "open" box model available at a $200 discount. After verifying with Farman that we would have 48 hours to take it home and make sure it worked (or we could return it and pay the difference for a boxed one), we purchased the unit . We waited the suggested 24 hours to plug the unit in after moving it, but it turned out, that the unit does not work at all. It would not even start. I called Farman immediately and then reached out by email, only to be told that despite what he said at the time of purchase, the store policy is such that they will not return the "open box" and we would have to go through warranty to get our brand new unit repaired. (But, as per his email, I was free to tell the returns department that it was his "miscommunication" and see if they would help me which he knew they wouldn't)... It is now the night of April 11 and we are weeks away from getting our brand new unit, purchased on April 1, repaired and working. The unit has a refrigerant leak that requires repair and the unit then needs be charged, by yet another tech. Hopefully, that is the only issue and it starts working at that point. Regardless, the event that we actually needed it for, has since passed. We are so frustrated and disappointed as Farman is quite aware that he gave us misinformation or we would never have purchased their floor model. read more

They don't have souls... they have hired horrible people to talk to after delivery. I'm never dealing with them again. I'm redoing my whole kitchen, and i'm going to trail appliances or home depot. They get you with free delivery and installation, but they don't do anything. Their guys just tell you it's easy and walk away. Might as well just pay for retrieval thru other companies. Canadian Appliance Source will not accept returns, even when they sell you a defective product that has never been used. Do not believe what they have on their website about free installation. They dropped off the product, removed the boxes (so that I cannot return the product), and then will not accept the return because I 'no longer have the boxes'. the product has never been used. I purchased a microwave from Canadian appliances in surrey. They have an installation package advertised in the store , which costs an additional $206.07. Payment was required in advance! Quick contractors were supposed to call me with an appointment, I had to leave a couple of messages to make the appointment time. I was specific that the appointment had to be in the morning as I had important Dr's appointments in the afternoon. On the day of the appointment, they changed the time to the afternoon ! I had to scramble to have somebody here . However, when they installed the microwave , using the old bracket, they scraped my wall and my tile. I have contacted both Canadian appliances and quick contractors several times to have the damage repaired. Canadian appliances maintain it's not their problem, and quick contractors do not respond to my inquiries. I would not recommend either company as they do not stand behind their service ! read more

STAY AS FAR AS POSSIBLE FROM THEIR STORES & WEBSITE!!! I purchased a Samsung Bespoke Refrigerator at this location and the salesman Nick, told me the panels were included in my purchase. When the product arrived, it came without the panels. Nick told me to reach out to the after sales department and refused to help fix the mess he created. Their after sales department refused to send me the panels, even after I have submitted the text messages proving I was promised a full fridge. The pictures on their website are misleading, as they do not show the real product missing parts, nor mention that the panels aren't included. They refused to send me the panels and have also refused to exchange the product. Canadian Appliances doesn't train their people, and doesn't care about customer service. They have closed the Richmond store inside Canadian Superstore and Nick is now working at their Vancouver location. Unless you are looking for stress, stay far away from them! Even the delivery company is awful and employ quite rude people. This terrible experience made me eliminate the third-party and I just purchased my dishwasher and induction stove directly from Samsung! read more

So, we went over to Canadian Appliance Service and Mark fixed us up with a Bosch 8000 series oven at a great price, and he added the extended warranty at very little extra to seal the deal. 1-stop and done. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I ordered a deep freeze from CAS in Newton. I paid a deposit in store when I placed the order. When I found out it was in, I came in on a Sunday to pick it up. I paid the remaining balance, and then was told that I could not pick it up that day as there was no one in the warehouse. I made arrangements with a manager to pick it up at a later date. I was told they would mark it down in their systems. I went to pick up my fully paid for deep freeze, and was told it was on back order. I told them that it had been in when I was there 2 weeks prior. Well, they sold my FULLY PAID FOR freezer to someone. I'm livid. After 20 minutes I left, without the refund I told them I wanted. Was told that I had to apply for a refund. I've never had worse customer service in my life. They sold my fully paid for freezer to someone else. That's equivalent to theft. read more

Horrible. Bought a full suite of appliances. The washing machine was dead on arrival, broken from day one. You'd think a trustworthy retailer would take it back and exchange it, but nope, not CAS. I bought it, it's my problem, take it up with the manufacturer and get them to fix it I was told. I don't want a REPAIRED unit, I want one in NEW condition, like I paid for. Even the manufacturer said to take it back, told me they have "dealer support" for just this sort of thing. But CAS still refuses to do anything. I made the mistake of picking these guys based on their low pricing, but next time I'll stick with a reputable dealer who stands behind their products and doesn't just take my money and leave me hanging. I bought a fridge this is my second time back Such a mistake!!! The fridge was delivered damaged I'm understanding about that disappointed but it happens problem the delivery drivers took my old fridge and would not unload it again can't use the new one!!! So no fridge. We called can't help you not our policy ! What about our food ? Not our policy what about the medication our special needs client requires that must be in a fridge? Not our policy. Then to be transferred to a closed call centre!! We call the call centre not our policy cSn we speak to a manager ? No. This is what we have gotten for 3 days now so we are understanding about the damage but we need to be able to use a fridge ! They don't even care about the medication! Where did this company come from? Wonder if they will even give us a new fridge. Please save yourself utter despair don't bother with this company go to trail,coast appliance ,lowes or Home Depot they care about recovery from failure I spent my Friday crying in utter frustration.
