Well I was so excited after great summer camps, especially the gymnastics camps with Coach…read moreLauren and Coach Presley, to get my kids going into gymnastics classes as it was closer and more convenient than Cedar Hills. I was also excited for my daughter to do Ballet here, as she had done Daddy Daughter ballet with Mr. B here and loved it. Well let me tell you what a waste of money and time. The classes don't start or end on time. We have a class that is scheduled for 45 minutes and usually get from 30-35 minutes IN class with instruction. That's not okay. EspThere is no consistency and I called and left Ann Satterfield, the program coordinator, a message three times (including today,) and she never got back to me. The gymnastics program director is Coach Lauren and she did call me back and still the issues persist with the gymnastics classes despite her intervention. I guess summer camps and the playground here is all that GH is good for. Ann used to be at Conestoga, where I had loads of issues with horrible staff, and now that she is here it's happening. Maybe it's her that is the root of the problem because she certainly isn't part of the solution. 3 weeks later and no credit or contact from Ann or Catherine. Guess the integrity is as good as the classes here. Don't waste your time and efforts here!

My go to is the weight/cardio room, and their fitness room has everything you need to get that balanced workout. They also have dance/studios where the classes are held (I.e. Zumba, Pilates, Cardio circuit strength training, Tai Chi, aerobics, yoga). I bought the deluxe pass that gives me access to all fitness programs and drop in classes at this location and all other Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation Center locations, which includes swimming, too. They also have a locker room for day use, showering and a stretching area in the same vicinity.

They were absolutely EXHAUSTED. They came home filthy every day. That was tough. We were rushing to get showers in, a good dinner and let them relax a bit and they just melted down almost every night. My kids are 7 & 9 and my friends had the same experience with older and younger ones. I would not recommend the camp simply out of that fact. My kids were dead on the final day. Total exhaustion. That said, I'll address the "mess of 2022" known as pickup line. I'm not sure I was a fan, I definitely wasn't, but my friend had her kids there the week prior to me and she warned me. It took me 30-40 minutes each day to get through the line. Let's be real, not super Eco friendly, but it is what it is. Browns ferry Park doesn't have much parking and it's a busy summer destination as the Tualatin river is there for paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing and swimming. I didn't mind waiting, as my fuo time job IS my kids, and I got most of a day for a break. I watched Virgin River on Netflix while I waited and watched the whole current season. That said, it's tough on working parents. The camo itself was fantastic. The kids had a blast everyday. For kids going solo, it seems like they didn't get as much attention or response from counselors, like my son said he didn't think he could ask for help at pottery. He's shier with adults he doesn't feel as comfortable as some kids asking for help. So he didn't get as much out of the camp as my daughter. All in all I think they had a good time and it was run well.

Offers both English and western riding, 10/10 would recommend!

It's a cool spot to hang out and enjoy the day with open space and not too far from food places if you get hungry.
