Years later, after our dog suddenly passed, we contacted the storage facility and learned there were only two. For something this sensitive and irreplaceable, that kind of mistake is unacceptable. If you use this clinic, you need to double‑check everything they do and everything they send out. When we brought this up, the vet denied ever telling us we had three samples and said that the number of samples we needed was based on how many females we wanted to get pregnant. She knew from the beginning that we were not breeders -- our only goal was to give ourselves the best chance at one future puppy. She also told us we "should have asked more questions," which felt like shifting the responsibility onto us. We did ask questions, but we had no way of knowing what we didn't know. That's exactly why we relied on her expertise. Instead of guiding us, she put the accountability back on us for not being experts in a field she specializes in. What makes this even more disappointing is that frozen semen is not a guaranteed one‑try process. Anyone can look this up: Frozen semen loses a lot of strength after thawing, so it doesn't work as well as fresh. Pregnancy rates with frozen semen are often 50-80%, even under ideal conditions. Because of this, many reproductive specialists recommend around 3-4 stored samples to have a reasonable chance at eventually getting a single puppy. So focusing only on "how many females we wanted to impregnate" completely missed the point. We weren't planning multiple litters -- we were trying to maximize our chances of one puppy. We relied on her to explain what we actually needed to meet that goal, and that never happened. Now our dog is gone, and our chances are lower than they should have been. This clinic needs better communication, better accuracy, and better attention to what their clients are truly trying to achieve.

For starters, when I first chatted with him over the phone and explained wanting to try a specialist due to the cost of our regular vet, he didn't have anything but professional things to say about our regular vet. I've had people badmouth and belittle what is essentially their competition. None of that here! And while they did arrive fairly late, Dr. Ryan was considerate of letting me know what was going on. I understand life happens. Especially when working with horses. He was flexible when one of our horses fought the sedation and made notes that he shared with me. He let me watch, answered questions genially, and let me feel and be part of the process when I asked about things like mouth conformation and bitting. I also appreciated the digital workup he shared with me and his thoughtful notes on both horses. Absolutely will recommend LERVS and Dr. Ryan for dental work!

I just drop them off and take them back home. I took in 1 mom cat and 3 kittens for 4 spays, chips, and shots. All the girls were released early. We're very awake and doing great. No problems. The incision was neat, healed nice no infection, bump nothing on any of them. That evening they were all playing and eating. I feel comfortable they did a great job on them. I can't say how the doctors are or how pricing is.

I have mixed feelings about my experience here…read more I got my girl kitty when she was only 5 weeks old, and she grew up alongside our older male cat. They had always gotten along very well and were closely bonded. When it came time for her spay surgery, she was under a lot of stress. Before the procedure, the staff performed their examination and had me sign several forms, but nobody mentioned that the experience could potentially affect her relationship with our other cat. After the surgery, I was instructed to keep her in a separate room while she healed, which I did. What I didn't realize was that this separation, combined with the surgery and stress, could create tension between the two cats. Once her stitches were removed, I was told she could return to normal activity and roam the house again. I followed those instructions and let her back into the house before leaving for work. When I came home, I found fur from my male cat stuck under her nails and scratches on his face. It became immediately clear that something had changed between them. When I picked up my male cat to comfort him, my female cat attacked me as well, scratching me repeatedly. I had to defend myself and get away while protecting my other cat. I called the veterinary office and asked whether this type of behavior was known to occur after surgery. Later, the doctor called me back and confirmed that yes, they are aware that cats can sometimes become aggressive toward other household pets after procedures due to changes in scent, stress, and separation. What upset me most was that this was never discussed beforehand, nor was I asked to acknowledge it as a potential risk. Had I known this could happen, I would have either delayed the surgery until I could better prepare or taken additional precautions during the reintroduction process. Instead, I was caught completely off guard. When I asked for solutions, I was advised to purchase supplements and a diffuser, which cost me another $100. Thankfully, after about two stressful weeks, the cats have mostly returned to their normal relationship. The surgery itself appears to have gone well, and the staff were professional. My disappointment comes from the lack of communication regarding a known behavioral risk that had a significant impact on both my pets and myself. I simply wish I had been warned so I could have been better prepared.
