I'm rating Candeeland specifically as a paid indoor playground, not comparing it to places like Kidspace or other larger kids' attractions. We went on Labor Day and paid $20 per child for 2 hours, which included one adult per child. Overall, the place seemed clean, the restroom was clean, and there were plenty of things for the kids to do. I liked that everyone has to wear socks, and they have slippers outside the restroom to use inside. There's also a snack area with snacks and drinks available. They have a separate area for kids 5 and under, which is nice. It also looks like the staff can tell the kids' age group based on the tag you get after the waiver is completed. The employees were fine and seemed to be doing their jobs, but there wasn't much greeting, smiling, or checking in with families. That's mainly why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. For me, 5 stars would mean the overall experience was outstanding, including great customer service and staff making families feel welcomed. I did see one child pinch/hurt another child while the parents weren't nearby. I felt bad for the other child and the parents. I understand that kids are playing and you sign a waiver knowing there are risks, but it would be nice if staff could step in when they notice something like that, get the parents involved, or have the child take a short break. Overall, a good indoor playground with plenty for the kids to do and a clean environment. We would come back.

Serves it purpose. Children have a variety of slides, some swings, a ball pit, and some mechanical rides to explore. Staff was amicable and courteous. There's a snack bar inside the grounds where you can purchase a variety of snacks or drinks. Can't fully rave about this place since I'm not the biggest fan of indoor playgrounds but all in all I'd say the kids had a great time.

We arrived at opening time, which is 10am. I went on a Thursday and my daughter and I had the place to ourselves for about an hour and she loved it! It started getting busy close to 12pm. It's clean and well kept. The staff are nice. Definitely recommend coming if you want to kill time at the mall!

This is probably the cleanest play area place I have ever taken my kids to. You see staff constantly cleaning, vacuuming, watching the kiddos, they are everywhere! They ensure only kids under 5 go in to the 5 and under play area, which is a big thing for those of us with smaller kids. It gives you a truly safe space for the youngest ones. Plenty of seating, bathroom are so clean and they provide slippers for bathroom visits. They have a diaper changing table with a diaper bin. Lots of snacks and coffee options to choose from. TV was on and we were able to watch a World Cup game! I celebrated one of my kids' birthdays here about two years ago and the service was awesome! The only thing I disliked and why I opted to celebrate the next couple of birthdays at other places like Sky Zone ( which isn't as clean or safe for the little ones) is that your guest count includes both children and adults. At Sky Zone for example, they only count the "jumpers" towards the guest count. I didn't have to include their parents that basically just sit there in a room while their kids are off playing. When we celebrated my daughter's bday, I ended up paying extra for a few adults that decided to show up and most of my adult guests were just sitting in the party room the entire time waiting for their kids to finish their play time. I didn't like having to limit the kid count, kids who would actually enjoy the play time and have fun with my kids. But after paying an additional $100 for 5 extra people, on top of what I had already paid for the birthday package, I just didn't want to spend any more. That is literally my only "complaint". We love this place, the service, the staff, and we continue going every chance we get.

We have visited this Candyland location for a few times now. Although today it was super crowded! I guess the kids are not too crazy about the Oscars!! The staff members were light blue T-shirts with Candyland printed on them so they're easy to spot. There is a snack bar so you are able to buy snacks and drinks once you're inside. You do have to take your shoes off and if you're going to participate with your kids, then you should have the socks that have the rubber bottom so that you do not slip and fall. You pay by the time that you want to stay into the playground area. They do give you a sticker that you have to wear to designate what time your session ends. It is noisy so if you came here to do any kind of work or steady, I would avoid the weekends. It's located inside the Stonewood shopping center .

Easy five star review. Some stand out things I liked: the second floor of the main play structure is tall enough for an adult to stand up! This means I can chase my kids or play with them without having to crawl or bend over for an extended period of time. It's so nice. The second thing I really like is you can see the main play area AND the toddler area from each side. This is really great if you have kids of different ages and need to keep eyes on both. I also appreciate that they enforce the rules, like no kids over five in the toddler area, no going up slides, no outside food. This makes it easy on parents because other kids are not doing the things you're telling your kid they can't do. Enforced fairness can be good sometimes, lol. Those employees have a tough job keeping that place orderly and clean with all the kids and crumbs, and they do a great job!

So I just received the most amazing customer service. One of the workers had already caught my eye when I seen how caring and thoughtful she was towards the other kids. I had no idea she would be so helpful to me, but the experience I received was so great it made me go renew my son's pass. My friend and I brought our sons to come and play, but they lost an item and we had asked a staff member and they kind of brushed us off but when we approached Samantha, she was very professional and helpful. She didn't make us feel like the other staff member did like "hey we already took your entrance fee. Now you don't matter" The professionalism and her demeanor with the children was excellent. Thank you, Samantha wherever you are you changed my overview on this place it was nice to see a staff member who showed concern and professionalism towards the children and the parents as well...Good job having Samantha on the team Candeeland -Downey

I had a little pre-Easter egg hunt party unfortunately the kids got too wired up on Candy. This was the perfect release. For $32 they were able to get all their energy out for an hour. I loved it. I just put my headphones on and looked at TikTok uninterrupted scrolling five stars.

Very clean I like how there main focus was cleanliness. Idk about the paying system and how crowded it gets on popular days but it's very spacious when it's not crowded. Two side's for small kids and bigger ones. One hour/ two hour passes. Unless you're buying a room and that's two hours one for playing and one hour for (room) birthday activities. read more

The place itself is very clean and kept orderly. The only reason I'm giving this place a 2 stars is because they only allow people to drink the expensive water that's sold at the place and not the water you bring from home. I saw other people drinking juice and eating chips and were told absolutely nothing! Not coming here again. read more

They have one of cleanest kids indoor playground in LA. They clean the evening every time after the kids play with. FYI.They are not allow outside food or beverages. Even the water bottles too. Dont forget to put the water in the kids bottle read more

If I could give 10 stars I would! I was looking for venue for my son's 1st bday so when I'm reading the reviews of indoor playgrounds, I'm looking for CLEANLINESS. THIS IS THAT PLACE. Socks only so no outside germs on shoes are brought into the play area and hand sanitizers everywhere. Every time a kid used equipment, workers would then sanitize and wipe it down. Bathroom was clean, party room was cleaned and sanitized before we used it. Play area just looks clean! As a parent I loved that there were plenty of massage chairs/futons to just chill and relax. There is a place for little ones under 5 to enjoy as well. It's just the perfect place to bring your kids. And now to speak of the customer service: PHENOMENAL. All of the employees were SUPER helpful in setting up the party room and helping us bring things in for our party. They were very courteous and helpful I could not stop saying thank you. It would not have been as smooth as it was without them. They were just happy to help. I will definitely be coming back and bringing my kids here. I love it. read more

My 4 year old loves this place and I get a nice playful workout in while enjoying time with her! Staff is friendly and seem to constantly maintain the playground clean which is a plus for me! I do wish the playtime was unlimited for the price options compared to other playgrounds. Little things I appreciate as an adult are the slippers in the restroom. I hate walking into a public bathroom with socks on and they have slippers I can use in there! The snack bar is also a bonus for a snack after playtime. Would love a closer playground to us but this one is worth the drive! read more

This place is AMAZING for kiddos and birthday celebrations!!! The reservation process was super simple and the packages are not terribly expensive which was an added bonus!! I appreciated the pre-event call finalizing all the details for sure but, what I appreciated the most, was how clean the facility was. You could see members of their team walking around cleaning surfaces and vacuuming various areas of the space so it never felt gross or had that germ vibe you get at other indoor playgrounds The play area has a good variety of slides, swings, crawl spaces etc. perfect for a whole range of kiddos. Ours just turned two and she couldn't stop screaming with excitement so, to say we'll be back is an understatement.. Already planning to buy some packages for the family for Christmas! Lol So, if ur looking for a spot to host a little birthday jam for ur babies or just need a place to bring the kids to burn off all that energy, Candeeland is the place to go!! My 5 year old and I had a great time playing at this Candeeland! The staff is always cleaning and making sure the kids are playing safely. The only thing to be careful of is going down the tube slides. The rounded bolts can hurt if you hit your arm on them. read more

First time visiting. Loved it. First of all it wasn't super crowded which is nice, most indoor playgrounds kids are packed like sardines, not here. It is so clean which makes sense since no outside food or drinks are allowed. I was a little nervous it wouldn't meet the needs of my crazy 7 year old but even she was entertained and didn't complain of feeling bored. It's definitely worth the money. read more

I really wanted to like this place. But it was absolute chaos in there. It felt dirty and was stinky when you first walk in. I rarely saw anyone clean or sanitize the play area. Kids have this sticker with time ending. But I've seen kids in there that's way passed their time. I feel like they will let anyone and everyone in without a cap. I brought 3 kids 8,5 and 1. They have this area for little kids. I wanted the littles to explore that area. But it had more parents or adults then kids. You got some parents inside the ball pit. Also adults going down the slide. But once my 8yr old niece wanted to go down the slide with my 1 year old we got in "trouble" and was told to go to the big kid area. Mind you there was adults going down that slide. If my niece wasn't allowed in the little kids area then grown ass adults shouldn't be in the ball pit throwing balls. And it wasn't like they were throwing it to their kids. They were playing hoop. Ugh I'm just annoyed by how disgusting this place was. They should seriously have a cap on how many ppl should be allowed inside the play area. My 8 and 5 year old were good at the big kid area. But then my 1 year old couldn't really do much cause you have big kids running and pushing people. It's just rude that the so called workers just stand there but don't call out bad behavior and kick the rowdy kids out. Remember when I said it was stinky when you first walked in. While it wasn't. It was stinky the entire time we were there. We paid for an hour. And we seriously left in 30 mins. Cause the smell just kept getting worse. I get it. It's hella sweaty kids running around but have some good air flow. Or have some air fresher in the vent. Idk but do something. Maybe clean often... just a suggestion. Needless to say we're never coming back here again. read more

I rarely write reviews, but my recent experience at this establishment was so disappointing that I felt compelled to share. I booked a 2-hour session for my two sons, aged 3 and 7. Just 15 minutes after arriving, we encountered an unpleasant situation. An employee approached my 7 year old with a mean attitude because he was in the infant ball pit. Although I promptly told my son to step out to comply with the policy, the employee continued to provoke him, causing him to cry. I then went to speak with the manager, an Asian gentleman ‼ at the front counter, hoping to address the issue. Unfortunately, he was rude and unprofessional. I requested a refund after being there for only 15 minutes due to the negative experience, but my request was denied. Overall, the staff's lack of courtesy and the poor handling of the situation made the visit extremely unwelcoming. This place clearly needs to improve its customer service, especially when dealing with minors. I would not recommend this place at all read more

Really enjoy this place, staff is friendly. Unfortunately I have to give them a two star my son has gotten horribly sick both times. The first time he got an eye infection but I felt bad it was from this visit. We tried again after a couple of months washing our hands as we played and we have had two straight weeks of ER visits bc of a viral infection he caught called roseola. He doesn't go to day care and we don't have any family who are sick and the day we went there were kids running around with boogers. I know this is a kids place and it's bound to happened but more procedures should be taken like taking kids temps or 15 min sanitizing intervals. Other than that great place. This place is simply awesome. We've been to a bunch of play spaces, and the friendly staff at this place goes well above and beyond everyone else in helpful attentiveness and keeping the place clean and well disinfected. I'm a little annoyed they require grip socks, as they seem unnecessary for the attractions that they have, but this is rather minor. The attractions are also well designed, and we particularly liked the "obstacle course" area that had a variety of ways to get from one side to another, like a zip line, swings, tree-like poles, etc. It is also much larger than you might expect for a place in a mall, and we all had hours of fun and will definitely be returning! read more

This is our main go to for parties/birthdays and is fun with the kids. Parking is easy, the place is well kept and maintained and you're able to see the layout for the most parts unless the kids go on the backside of the apparatus. Since I still have small ones, I still follow them around and the set up is tall enough for grown ups. The other location is about smaller and going around is dreadful. my kids and I truly enjoyed spending our time at this playground. The place was big, clean, and comfortable. Even the toys that were displayed were safe to play and enjoyable. I will definitely be coming back I loved how he got to interact with other younger kids, and no one is allowed in the area with shoes on so it keeps everything clean. Super cute place and very clean! There's a lot of interactive play areas good for kids of all ages, the staff is really nice too. I just love it here, compared to other playgrounds that I've taken my kids to this one is by far the best! It's very clean, the staff are kind and it is very spacious. They also have a little snack bar for when the kids get hungry we can stop by and get a small snack. You won't regret coming here!!! read more

No other place I rather go to than here. It's perfect because they have sperate areas for kids of different ages so the babies don't get pushed around and get hurt. Candeeland is a blast for kids. I have been here more than twice and every time my three kids enjoy themselves. The place is clean and there are enough restrooms. The facility doesn't require grip socks, and they don't even sell them on-site. Grip socks are important in indoor playgrounds because the floors and play structures can become slippery, increasing the risk of slips and falls. Implementing a grip sock policy would be a simple way to help keep kids safer. My son still enjoys coming here, but after so many years, I hope the owners invest in updating the facility and improving safety standards.

The younger children were sold tickets and are not allowed to be left unattended, yet my older child was not permitted to remain with us. The policies seemed to contradict one another and left us in an impossible situation. I completely understand having age based rules and designated toddler play times. My issue is not the policy itself. My issue is that it was never communicated when I specifically called ahead to ask, and there was no effort made to find a reasonable solution once we arrived. The result was a very disappointed child and a family celebration that quickly turned stressful. On principle, I found the experience unsupportive and unnecessarily rigid. I left feeling disappointed by the customer service and the lack of empathy shown in handling what could have been a simple situation.
