I used to really enjoy this place. My son even had a birthday party here about three years ago, which is why I requested a membership through Regional Center for my children, who have disabilities. When I went to use the membership for the first time, I arrived with my two sons after checking the business hours on Facebook and Instagram. When we got there, a man was doing maintenance on the playground and told us it would be about an hour before we could enter. My son, who has autism, was understandably upset, so I took him next door to the pet store to help distract him while we waited. After an hour, we returned--only to be told it would be another 30 minutes. At that point, I asked if my sons' memberships were active through Regional Center. The employee flipped through a notebook and couldn't even locate one of my son's memberships. We left because my son's patience was gone, which is directly related to his autism. This entire experience left a very sour taste. If a business offers social recreation services through Regional Center, accurate hours and organized membership records are essential. What's even more upsetting is that I later discovered Regional Center was charged for six months of membership, even though we never attended or used the membership at all. I never signed a contract agreeing to ongoing charges. I also received a text stating the membership would not be active if we didn't attend--yet they still billed Regional Center. Also, never extended services. Between the inaccurate hours, lack of accommodation, disorganization, and billing issues, I would not recommend this business to Regional Center families. read more

We've been coming to Little Dimples since they first opened, and now my kids are 7 and 9 years old and still ask to come all the time. Of course there's some normal wear and tear with so many kids playing, but they're always fixing things, bringing in new toys, and they recently put a ton of money into updating the playground, so it honestly feels like brand new. The good: I got a strawberry smoothie and Viet coffee. My kids had a great time here. The ball pit is huge and fun. The trampoline was a good size. The see-thru slide was aesthetically pleasing. The climbings areas are large enough for parents to come in to supervise little ones. There were lots of different ride-on cars and vehicles. There were pretend play kitchen areas. They sold mini pancakes that looked fun. The bad: I tried to order 3 specialty drinks but they didn't have all 3. The strawberry smoothie was quite sweet. There are areas of the playground that are a bit run down or could use some revamping. There was often a wait for the bathroom. The ground was slippery in some areas. I wish they sold savory foods as well. The interesting: They were having an event that day with pop-up vendors that sold craft goods like drawings and knitted clothes. The owner actually had Elsa and Anna come in 12/22 around 1:30 which was a great surprise as we were leaving but the lady worker told us to stay for the surprise. It's not the biggest playground area but just enough to make your child happy. My kids loved it. Only con is some of their equipment is faded and ripped. I really wanted to like this place because it's the closest indoor playground to me and my daughter had fun but the more I think about the safety and cleanliness it's just not worth it. The one staff member I interacted with seemed nice and I'm sure it's overwhelming having to deal with coffee orders, parents and screaming children but the place is really rundown. Here's all the red flags I experienced. 1. I was super unsure because she didn't "check" me in or have me sign a waiver which is a concern for THEM as well. I just paid, she didn't go over rules, no reminders about wearing socks etc. 2. The separation from where the shoes are not worn and worn are really unclear so when the kids and parents are going back and forth with socks on where shoes are worn it really makes no difference :/ 3. Toys were broken and falling apart. I get it to a certain extent kids can be rough but there were some wooden play sets with screws that were falling out which we don't want kids to be playing with metal screws lol. And some plastic toys were broken with sharp pieces (I think it's time to get rid of them no?) 4. I get kids will run. But it's a rule. So many kids were roughhousing and running. I've been to a few indoor playgrounds but for the size of the place and how crowded it can get they really should reiterate to please not run. Most of the other places I have been to will have staff remind parents and children politely when they see them run/roughhouse or say it over a loudspeaker to just remind people. I get this one can be hard and kids will be kids but it was a bit much. 5. When I was leaving there was zero acknowledgement. Now I'm not saying this because "I'm a customer acknowledge me" lol I'm saying this because I need to know your staff knows who is going in and out with the correct children!! All the other indoor playgrounds I have been will usually have a name/time tag or sticker so when you're leaving a staff member can see you're not kidnapping a child! And maybe the staff is making sure silently but because there's no acknowledgment, I signed no waiver, and it was so busy it made me feel uneasy. Listen it's still a place for kids to go. I do think older kids MIGHT be better because most of them know what's dangerous and what's not. But I unfortunately will not be coming back. read more

We've been going to their Montebello location for years. They always have kind & friendly staff, yummy drinks (love their boba milk tea!) and safe & fun place for toddler and young kids to run free and explore. I have a young toddler and we love coming in on a weekday when it's not as busy and he gets to interact with other kids and just run off his energy for a few hours. He LOVES the slides and ball pit!! I also love chatting with the owner there. She is super attentive and very accommodating when we had parties for my daughter. We will be coming here for years to come. I want to start off by saying this is a great place Specifically for a kids birthday party. I live farther from this place but was here for an evening birthday party and it was so great for the kids! If I lived closer I would not come here regularly unless again it was to host a birthday party. It's one good sized space with a couple slides, a ball pit, a trampoline, some foam areas for younger ones, and several wheel toys that are usually outdoor backyard stuff but it's nice to use indoors! If you have a kid under 2 or very close to 2 they might be a little overwhelmed and the price for them to be here might not be super worth it. Definitely know your child though and if they are truly ready at 2 to play independently without constant supervision from you as the parent. I have a child close to 18 months and a child that's almost 4, my older child loved this place and if this wasn't a birthday party I wouldn't have brought my younger child as there wasn't much for him to do alone, he liked standing next to the ball pit most of the time. Another reason for why birthday parties: there's plenty of sitting space for parents to eat/talk while the kids play. And the kids can come easily to eat before going back to play. From what I gathered on the pricing for having a party here it was pretty worth it, we had around 40 people and there was enough space. read more

I really wanted to love this place. I have been researching different indoor play gyms for my 16 month old and took her today for the first time. I was ready to even get her a monthly membership so my mom can take her regularly while I'm a work, but unfortunately I was disappointed since I was expecting more. Don't get me wrong, my daughter had fun and there was enough for her to do. I do think she's on the younger side, but she held her own. My concerns began as soon as we walked in. Since I had done my research, I knew I would have needed to sign a waiver. We even mentioned to the employee that this was our first time there and her only question to us was about my daughter's age. We didn't sign a waiver, didn't give us a general welcome, or general rules aside from us being able to go in with my daughter. In terms of playground rules, I can't put that completely on the establishment. Overall the kids were okay but I did have to address other kids who would push my daughter. Us as parents want a break but we still have a responsibility to ensure our kids are being kind. We can't just let them loose at a playground. The establishment does have a responsibility when it comes to supervision and enforcement. It was completely understaffed. I only saw one employee there. If she wasn't helping a customer at the register she was sitting behind the counter barely being able to see the top of her head, assuming on her phone or computer. Not once did she do a lap to ensure rules are being followed, clean up tables, engage with customers, organize toys, etc. Again, a lot to do just for one staff member. The place could have been cleaner as well. The trash cans over filled, food crumbs on the floor near the toys, dirt mark in the play area, etc. I will continue my research for other indoor play gyms. read more

Came here as a group for an event and was excited to try an indoor playground closer to me. My kid had sooo much fun. Adults are free and they sell snacks and flavored boba drinks. Kids are usually $20 the whole day and if you buy a pass there are some discounted rates. Sometimes they also have happy hour and the kids are $10. There are tables for adults to sit at and eat, and there are slides, a ball pit, a track for various cars. For my toddler it's just enough and he doesn't notice how it's kind of run down. When we walked in, the place seemed old and small. There were quite a bit of bodies so I wasn't exactly sold on the place. On top of that, we went on a cold, rainy day and the heater wasn't on. We decided to give the place a try and are soooooo glad that we did. Of all the places we've been, this is the ONLY indoor play area where we were able to let our kids roam free without any worry. We actually sat at a table going through our phones without our kids hollering at us to play with them or cried to us how other kids pushed them. This play area had just the right amount of toys and activities for kids between 2-6. Diverse group of parents and kids and they were all very courteous. Bigger places often come with bigger personalities so it's nice to have a nice cozy place where parents and kids were all very respectful of each other and all got along. Place also offers snacks, boba and ice cream. $20 per kid. $5 off each additional so $35 for 2. All day play. Tow thumbs up for our kids. read more

What a sweet place! I was an invited guest for a kiddie birthday so disclaimer: I did not work with the staff. But I can say that LDP is a great venue for your child's event: there's an area for decorations, an area for presents, an area for the food, an area for guests to sit and eat at the benches and a big playground for kiddies to play! Although it doesn't seem like food is served, tea, milk tea, Boba, coffee and smoothies are served which is incredible because I'm obsessed with tea! The two ladies that worked the counter were very sweet. Although the drinks were comped for the event, my sister and I made sure to tip. Other amenities include giant TVs on the walls that play Disney cartoon-songs (that the kids loved); the staff at the counter cuts the birthday cake; the bathrooms are gender neutral and have changing tables because - it's a family venue! I came back here recently and wow this place is so run-down. Very sad because there are no indoor like this for kids in the area. This is my closest indoor playground but it will definitely be my last time coming here. I rather make the drive for a safer play area. There are holes in the walls here, Outlets missing safety plugs, equipment being held together by zip ties and duct tape! It always feels stuffy and warm inside. Not well ventilated. I had more hope for this business but sadly it just feels too unsafe to continue supporting it. I only gave 2 stars because the staff is really friendly and always smiling. I'm not sure how long this place has been open, but the toys and general facility felt run down. For a place that caters to children and parents I would think cleanliness and safety should be a priority. Everything felt a bit dirty, like it felt like all the toys had a film of grime (even the balls in the ball pit). Toys were broken. Duct tape was used to put things back together. There was a large utility box/electrical unit that protrudes from the wall and the corner of it is easily toddler height and sharp, so a kid could definitely bump their head when running around. Saw a couple baby cockroaches in the corner on the toys. There were also kids without socks on, even though their "rules" say socks are supposed to be worn at all times. read more

DO NOT BOOK FOR PARTIES! Just wrapped up a party here we had booked for my daughter's birthday. Showed up at our scheduled time only to see that the main slide was broken. The worker told us that the party before us had broken it after adults rode down. They attempted to fix it as our party started which was a safety hazard and it wasn't fixed until over half way through our scheduled time. Not only that but I had to keep addressing the owner Sarah about this issue during the party and at one instance she kept raising her voice arguing with me causing a scene in front of my guests. She offered 100 dollars off the total price or an extra thirty min of play which is a joke considering how much of an inconvenience this was to our party. Sarah the owner was so rude, defensive, and aggressive. Didn't apologize for this major inconvenience to our party, in fact she said it was a "minor inconvenience". Her tone was disrespectful and rude. As a paying customer and parent, I expect professionalism, safety, and respect--not just for the children using the facility, but for the families supporting your business. Not only were our concerns dismissed without any real attempt to listen or understand, but the way we were spoken to was completely unacceptable for any business, let alone one that serves families and young children. Instead of being met with empathy or a willingness to find a fair solution, we were met with attitude and zero accountability. Offering no reasonable options or even the slightest effort to make things right shows a serious lack of care for your customers. It's disappointing and unacceptable. We had hoped to support a local business, but based on this experience, we will not be returning and will be sharing our experience with other parents so they can make informed decisions. I strongly encourage you to reflect on how customer concerns are handled and how your behavior reflects on your business. For any other parents out there skip out on this playground, not worth it.
