Making a reservation was simple and easy. My only complaint is that the owner told me they would be open at a certain time and it turned out that the time I was told was 30 minutes early so that really cut into the decorating time but we made it work. The kids had fun and it was great other than that.

My daughter and nieces/nephews love this indoor playground. It's a really fun alternative to the park or Chuck E. Cheese. My daughter is 18 months and she's big enough to be able to climb and use the entire gym. I also have taken my niece and nephew who are 7- & 12-years-old, and they had a great time too. For what it's worth, the 7 yo told me it was more fun than Jump Jungle in City of Industry, which was surprising since the latter is a much bigger space. It's open Tuesday - Sunday. I've gone weekdays only and the hours are 1-7 pm. It's $10 or $15 per child and you can go for as long as you want. I always take the kids for 1-2 hours. Just make sure to bring snacks. They do sell water bottles and juice too if you need it. They also have a few tables in the back if you want to throw a party. I hope more people will start patronizing this place. It's a wonderful space for kids. I want it to stick around in Uptown Whittier because I want to be able to continue to bring my daughter here!

I LOVEEEEE Uptown Kidz! I host a mom group every week and have taken the group there a handful of times and the moms always go back! its our favorite place to host events and let the kids run around. The owners are very helpful, friendly. The play equipment and the bathroom is always clean, they also have a nursing and changing room with a rocking chair to accommodate the mama with a small nursing baby (this is very cool cause not all places consider a nursing mom) They have a very cute party room for the kids and when we book our events for the mom group we do crafts and everything. There's more than enough space for a goood 70-75 people. The kids LOVE this playground and are always asking to go back. I host ALOT of moms and children here and I have not had any complaints for from the moms. This is our OFFICAL playground to take the kids to on any day of the week. The young man that runs it is very sweet and helpful. He's attentive and offers help in any way that is needed. He opened early for us to set up and he made sure to clean the area before we showed up. I do highly recommend to bring your little ones here when you want them to run around and enjoy climbing. I like this play ground because you can pretty much see everything from your seat if you choose to sit and relax. We will definitely be back again!

This place is run by a nice young man. Super cool and nice to the kids and family. This place is small enough for you to sit and watch the kids. As a mom with a toddler who is wild it's nice that everything is padded. My 7 year old also had a blast. There is a perfect spot for parties. There is also a small area for little ones. Definitely the place to go with kids.

I was really upset because of a Dad and his little girl, must have been 7, 8 years old we're in the toddler area. The girl had an accident inside the ball pit and I overheard the Dad scolding her for peeing, but didn't inform anybody that she even had an accident. My son was in the ball pit when this happened, and I noticed that there were wet footprints on the floor and on the edge of the pit. I grabbed the spray that they had and sprayed the area down, not thinking anything of it. One of the staff noticed that I did that and right away brought towels and sprays to clean the area and another staff member came over and asked me to take my son out because they were spraying chemicals in the pit area to sanitize. When I took him out, he was completely covered in pee all over the back of his shirt & shorts. My son wears diapers so I know it wasn't him. I was really upset, and I told the staff, I went to go talk to the manager about it, and they fully refunded me for the time that I was there. My kids were upset cause we had to leave early, we were 35- 40 minutes in & the guy in the front gave them lollipops, with my approval, to help me calm them. The staff there is amazing and on it about Cleaning and sanitizing everything. They shut the whole toddler section down just so they can sanitize the entire area. As far as that, Dad, it's extremely disgusting that he tried leaving without saying anything to anybody. Accidents happen that I understand but keeping it to yourself and then trying to leave without informing staff is beyond me.

It's quite spacious and there are just such a variety of activities for kids, from playing in a ball pit, to stacking random foam blocks, to playing in an area filled with random electronic entertainment (like mario kart and coloring fish), to actual play area with slides and padded obstacles. Even after seeing some of the lower reviews, I still think it is relatively clean considering the amount of traffic the weekend or evening may bring. I didn't really see anything that was broken or not working, and even when the mario kart system bugged out and was on a default screen, a staff member quickly did a reset and got it back into working order within 10 minutes or so. A consideration to be made is the fact that not all the parents are attentive with their kids, so there were definitely some kids that are just disrupting other kids playing or being obnoxious/rude. It's inevitable but also makes it feel like some parents literally just let their kids do whatever with little supervision, knowing that they are within the indoor playground. For example, my 1 year old was sitting on the padded carousel, and an older kid (at least 6 y.o.) jumped into the middle of the carousel and started dancing around wildly, which would've been fine until he almost fell on top of my much smaller child. It should also be noted that the area was marked for 2 y.o. or younger, but there's pretty much no enforcement of the space. Otherwise, it's a really cool spot for kids to burn a few hours and I still think it's remarkable that they fit so many different things to do in the same area.

I used to really enjoy this place. My son even had a birthday party here about three years ago,…read morewhich is why I requested a membership through Regional Center for my children, who have disabilities. When I went to use the membership for the first time, I arrived with my two sons after checking the business hours on Facebook and Instagram. When we got there, a man was doing maintenance on the playground and told us it would be about an hour before we could enter. My son, who has autism, was understandably upset, so I took him next door to the pet store to help distract him while we waited. After an hour, we returned--only to be told it would be another 30 minutes. At that point, I asked if my sons' memberships were active through Regional Center. The employee flipped through a notebook and couldn't even locate one of my son's memberships. We left because my son's patience was gone, which is directly related to his autism. This entire experience left a very sour taste. If a business offers social recreation services through Regional Center, accurate hours and organized membership records are essential. What's even more upsetting is that I later discovered Regional Center was charged for six months of membership, even though we never attended or used the membership at all. I never signed a contract agreeing to ongoing charges. I also received a text stating the membership would not be active if we didn't attend--yet they still billed Regional Center. Also, never extended services. Between the inaccurate hours, lack of accommodation, disorganization, and billing issues, I would not recommend this business to Regional Center families.

There were pretend play kitchen areas. They sold mini pancakes that looked fun. The bad: I tried to order 3 specialty drinks but they didn't have all 3. The strawberry smoothie was quite sweet. There are areas of the playground that are a bit run down or could use some revamping. There was often a wait for the bathroom. The ground was slippery in some areas. I wish they sold savory foods as well. The interesting: They were having an event that day with pop-up vendors that sold craft goods like drawings and knitted clothes. They also had a popup taco caterer outside.

My son was nearly jumped on twice because there was no supervision or enforcement of age-appropriate play areas. I don't care that admission was free because there was a private party later that day--I would gladly pay for a cleaner, safer, and better-managed environment for my child. Unfortunately, many of the parents seemed completely unconcerned with their children's behavior. The level of disrespect and lack of supervision from some families made the experience even worse. I would not recommend this place or return in its current condition. It's unfortunate because, with proper maintenance, cleanliness, and safety enforcement, it could actually be a very cute place for kids to play. My nephew skipped the ponies but loved the tractor ride. Feeding the animals costs a couple bucks ($2-$3 for pellets), but just keep in mind you can only feed the llamas, goats, and one pony.
