"OBC"... Cool name with a great makeover! What an incredibly nice setting- up on a hill near a busy intersection, but you feel like you're far from the city. We were seated outside on the deck with a window separating us from the elements which was really terrific with a beautiful pond directly below us. The water was BLUE, not GREEN. I hope the paint is not chipping and this didn't cost $14 million. Well, from the jump, the aesthetic is stunning and there are various rooms broken up to include a bar section which has a few tables and stools and will accommodate hurried diners that prefer to be seated quickly. We chose to wait for some outside seating because it's so pretty and breezy today on Father's Day. While waiting one is welcome to enjoy a beer before seated. They have a nice beer list and we chose after seated to try their "flight " which was as low as $10 to include 4 "tasters". Nice price point, and some pretty damn good beers. One of the dining areas is built around a nice beautiful pizza oven, and like all the spaces beautifully decorated and appointed. The moment you walk in the front door, the service is exquisite. A lot of nice young people doing their thing and doing it well with beautiful smiles and nice attitudes. And this continues with all of the front of the house service people, including the bussers, servers, etc. Our greeter/hostess, ELLA earns a "BLUE RIBBON" for her charm and presence, attitude, and efficiency! The "GOLD MEDAL" goes to our server, JAYCELYN who was so gracious, polite, and accommodating. And since it was Father's Day, I took the liberty of running some dad jokes by her and she took it in stride. The pizzas coming out looked really good. Certainly a reason to come back to try. I was with two other people for my buddies birthday celebration (a day late) plus it was Father's Day like I mentioned. I opted for some pancakes, scrambled eggs, and they allowed me to substitute some lovely multicolored carrots in place of the meat that I don't eat as part of the entrée offering. A welcomed, nice gesture. Birthday boy had a large attractive Cobb salad. And our lady friend and neighbor enjoyed a burger with a salad. We all agreed that the food was just fine. Note: "Sticky Fingers" was a great Rolling Stones album that came out in 1971. I was reminded of it when I touched the table we were dining at. It seems like the table should be re-surfaced or maybe a clearcoat added or decoupage? There's kind of a perpetual stickiness I guess from all the syrup and spilled beer? The real star was the service, the ambience, the location, and the beer. We all agreed to try the pizzas next time and share three of them along with some side dishes, but definitely a place to return to frequently. Oh, I almost forgot when the check was brought I mentioned it was my buddy's birthday and we had fun. So our very accommodating server, JAYCELYN quickly suggested the complementary cookie with ice cream and three spoons! Well, that disappeared in a couple seconds......

    Wouldn't slide, gross tables!!!

Like a becon on a hill, only with beer. OBC or Oscar's for short has been calling my name for years, myself and today's dining accomplis actually stopped in a few weeks ago and made a plan to return. Being fathersday Oscar's was busy and bustling, after a short wait we were seated at a table with a great view of the pond and park. Interaction with each and every team member we encountered was excellent. The large staff stayed busy and kept us happy. That included some extra attention cleaning our table top after we were seated. The one flaw in the entire afternoon was the sticky wood table. The build up was borderline grotesque. Even with extra attention it was icky, sliding a quarter across the top proved impossible. On to the F&B the beer flight was great and a fun chance to try most of the company brewed brews. I had a Cobb salad that was fine, not my favorite but no big complaints other then the dressing was thin, very thin and avocados are not included, the slivered red onions were a fine swap, though unconventional. The 21 dollar burger looked small and my pals pancakes and eggs brunch item looked rather pedestrian- this most recent Elite Yelper didn't have nice things to say so be sure to read Brent's take on things, I know it's coming. We had a nice lunch despite, mostly because the ambiance and great service. Management needs to come up with a solution for the melting varnish on the patio tables,it was a real turn off.

I finally came down to check this spot out because my friend likes to come here. The hostess both were great, so friendly and welcoming. We were sat right away outside (which was our preference) and the view overlooking the duck pond was awesome. We each ordered a beer and both our selections were great, she's an IPA girl and I'm more of a sour/cider fan. My friend ordered the Caesar wrap because it's her favorite but I wanted something hot and opted for the chicken sandwich. I had to say it wasn't the best sandwich, was dry and for the price was absolutely not worth it. ($22) The wrap looked great and I would try that or many other menu options next time. The service wasn't amazing but it could be a one off situation so I'd come back and give it another shot.

We came here for Easter Sunday lunch with the family and what a great pick it was! The weather was absolutely perfect, nice and sunny, and we got seated out on the patio which was awesome because it's dog friendly and we had our little frenchie with us. The view of the duck pond was so pretty and the space itself is super roomy which I loved. We ordered a bunch of stuff and here's the breakdown: Ahi Poke Bowl 4/5- Big portion, I was totally stuffed. The ahi tuna was good but I've definitely had better. The sauce leaned a little sweet for my taste. BBQ Wings 5/5- So good! Well coated in sauce and the skin was perfectly crispy! Calamari 5/5- One of the highlights for sure. Light and crispy batter, cooked just right. We all loved this one! Tri Tip Sandwich 5/5- Mom approved and that says it all! The portion was huge and she even had leftovers to take home. Thai Me Down Drink 5/5- Thai tea plus ube?? Yes please! I'm a big fan of both so putting them together was such a good call. Mushroom Pizza 4/5- Could have used more mushrooms but the pizza and crust were cooked perfectly so still a solid order. Service 5/5- Our server was super attentive, checked on us regularly, and was just really nice overall. Overall such a great spot and we'll definitely be back!

They have 2 stouts, the Milagro nitro and a bourbon one, I forgot the name. The strawberry moon was really good too. All very good! I had the truffle fries but they tasted like regular garlic Parmesan fries to me. Didnt taste any truffle oil. The bar area is great, great atmosphere, great bartenders. I will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu.

Who remembers Pat & Oscar's/ Oscar's / O's American Kitchen? It all disappeared and rebranded into Oscar Brewing Company which is the last one standing in Southern CA and the legacy lives on with their famous breadsticks. They got rid of the arcade room and made it into a bar and seating for 21 and up. This place gets packed! We waited 20 minutes and received a text when ready. Has a huge indoor and outdoor with a beautiful lake. They serve beer, wine, cocktails, non alcoholic. Margarita flights and beer flights. I got the margarita flight using CaliFino Tequila (you have to go to their tasting room in Carlsbad). OBC also has their own original drinks. We ordered family style to share among 4 adults and 2 teenagers for their birthdays. OBC gave out complimentary OBC chocolate chunk cookie with vanilla ice cream with a candle. -Breadsticks - a must -Greek salad -Margherita pizza -Buffalo wings -Spicy soy garlic wings -Buffalo chicken fries -Chicken nachos w chicken on the side -Truffle fries -half chicken, 2 breadsticks, side salad Combo Other than the wait time (kitchen and bar was backed up), the food was delicious. My favorite was the truffle fries. There's a bakery window you could stand to watch them make bread. Will have to come back to get their focaccia bread. The patio is dog friendly. Be sure to ask if extra items like ranch or marinara sauce is an extra charge. Other reviews said they got charged, we didn't.

Visited OBC again on Sunday afternoon after going downtown and finding out there was a huge wait to eat at a place there. We walked into OBC and there was no wait to sit inside. Score! Love this place because of all the space and the views. Private rooms available to have parties too. Parking is plentiful. Our server was so sweet and made sure to check in on us often. We ordered a bottle of prosecco, which was $52 and then it cost a few dollars to get 3 juices. Would love for them to have an unlimited mimosa option. The brunch menu had lots of great choices and prices were reasonable. We did order the avocado toast from the brunch menu, and then we ordered a burger with truffle fries ($5 extra for truffle fries), and a chicken Caesar wrap and that comes with a side salad. The food was excellent. Avo toast had lots of goat cheese and micro greens. The burger was fresh and cooked well. The chicken caesar wrap was delicious especially with an extra side of dressing on the side. Its such a great place for groups on just 2 people, the vibes are fun and casual.

I hadn't been here in years and was so excited to come back! I couldn't wait to see the gorgeous view of the pond from the patio, and boy it did not disappoint! We arrived on a Saturday evening around 6:40pm abs requested to sit outside. It seemed pretty busy inside so I was pretty surprised when they told us it would only be about a 20-25 minute wait. Although we wanted to sit outside, it seemed like there was plenty of space inside as well -- the restaurant itself seems large. Also, the bar area is open seating in case you don't feel like waiting. When we got seated, we had such an amazing view, and were greeted quickly. Our server was really nice and friendly and was also really helpful in explaining the menu/dishes to us. For our drinks, we ordered a Mint Condition (mocktail) and a Cadillac Margarita, and they were both amazing and fresh. For our main dishes, we ordered the Poke Bowl and the Buffalo Chicken Fries and they were both really really delicious and full of flavor!!!! And we were super excited to finish off our night with their cinnamon roll. The roll itself was fairly large (we shared it) and it was so soft and cooked perfectly! Our server explained that they have their own bakery so all their bread is made fresh -- and nothing beats a freshly baked cinnamon roll! Overall, the experience was really amazing! The restaurant seems like a great place to accommodate any type of gathering. From hanging out with friends after wine tasting, having an intimate/large family meal, to a date with your partner, this place is perfect for any occasion, and you certainly won't be disappointed!!

The Seasonal Fruit Crumble with Brown Sugar with the Salted Dark Chocolate Gelato was amazing. Warm crumble, cool gelato, was amazing. Enough to share, unless you want to be a glutton. . Typical brewery bar scene, good people listening (I travel for work, and sometimes you just hear about the going one in an area). Ordered an Ice Tea to drink which the bartender had to get from the kitchen but he brought a pitcher and was really nice about it. Also followed up and was polite in conversation with myself and other guests.

The food here and drinks were amazing. I make salmon and risotto all this time and coming here the salmon and risotto was cooked perfectly. Also, the wake up call, drink was amazing. It was essentially an espresso martini, but in slushy form and it was very strong, but tasted great. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food, as well as as I went with some coworkers. The service could have been a little better with being more attentive as they missed silverware at the table and we were waiting to get that to start our meal. I would definitely be back here to try more things on the menu, especially the drinks.

Food 5 stars Views 5 stars And my final 5 stars goes to Enrique! His customer service is impeccable. He was very kind, knowledgeable of the menu and made sure we had a great time! Can't wait to bring my parents tomorrow!

OBC is one of my guilty pleasures. Do I need copious amounts of bread? No. Do I WANT their delicious breadsticks? Maybe a dozen? YES. I've been here a handful of times and I'm never disappointed. I'm generally only disappointed with the lack of how many breadsticks I can destroy in a few minutes. I also enjoy ordering their Caesar Salad or their hamburgers. They have a wide arrange of beers to choose from, and the servers always have great input about their menu. It's a super friendly environment and family-friendly. The restaurant overlooks the pond. Highly suggest their bread, if you couldn't tell, and I'd recommend sitting outside for the lovely views with the brews!

My receipt that i ordered. Never going to come back here anymore. I talked to Korina 06/20/2026.

It was cooked to absolute perfection with the bones separating right off to indulge to the fullest extent. They tell you it takes 30 mins to cook, which is well worth the wait. The skin was perfectly crispy and the seasoning was to die for. The meat was juicy and I couldn't stop eating it alongside the garlic yogurt. It also came with a side of chickpeas and summer squash. The cocktails were a nice break away from all the wine in Temecula - but I wished the drinks would be punchier and more creative. The charred cauliflower was a nice order, though it was too "raw" and therefore dry. I think it'd be better lightly fried to lock in some juice. Service was fantastic, especially as the server is the one that pushed us to get the fish. The ambiance is fantastic; we stayed inside but the outside is beautiful. Overall, I can't believe that fish; I hope to try it again when I revisit the area.

We arrived early on a Friday evening, and thankfully it wasn't crowded. Since they don't take reservations, getting there early is definitely the way to go. We ordered the Dealer's Choice, which was refreshing, balanced, and beautifully presented. We also tried one of their stronger signature cocktails, and they definitely don't hold back -- there's a reason they limit those drinks to two per person! Both drinks were creative and well-crafted. The bartenders clearly know their craft, and the drink presentation was outstanding. Service was good, although not especially memorable, which is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. One thing that would make the experience even more immersive would be if the entire staff wore cowboy attire to match the Old West theme. With the speakeasy setting and vintage decor, it would add a fun touch and make the experience feel even more authentic. Overall, Twain Speakeasy offers excellent cocktails, good music, and a unique atmosphere. I would definitely come back again, and my recommendation is to arrive early since reservations aren't available and I can see this place filling up quickly on busy nights.

He really enjoyed the wings, but I felt like the truffle mac & cheese was pretty watery and didn't have much flavor and I didn't like how heavy handed the chicken was on top. Although the calamari was very good. I liked that they served it with ranch and marinara sauce. Our server was amazing. She was very friendly and made us laugh and overall gave good thoughts on the menu. I would like to be back again to try something else on the menu and their drink menu looked great as well.
