This place has really snippy staff and they do sloppy nails. They weren't prepared for our appointments and charged me two extra dollars to paint ONE nail a different color than the others!! I called ahead that morning and made appointments for shellac and one regular manicure for myself and two friends. Upon our arrival we found out that they only had UV lights rather than LED so we all opted for regular polish manicures. They started myself and one other girl immediately (after repeatedly, loudly, and rudely insisting that we choose our colors and sit down!!) and then left our 3rd girl sitting there for the entirety of our two manicures. The same woman who did my nails then started on her. Then returned to me to give me my "massage" which was really just aggressive rubbing for 30-45 seconds on each forearm. The color choices were very limited and the polish was old. One of my friends had to have hers repainted because the color she chose was so lumpy-- to which the woman told her she was "making her life miserable"... All in all, I will never go back here and wouldn't recommend to anyone. The woman did indicate she would look into LED lamps, so that's good for their future customers that don't want premature aging on their hands. I could have done a better job painting my own nails at home for free! read more

Nikki is the owner of this nail salon. Found her shop when I moved to Richardson 2 years ago. She is awesome at what she does. Very very polite and likes to talk to her customers. She goes out of her way to remember you and make you feel comfortable. Nikki has the best nail designs than any other places I have been to. Her painted flowers are unique. You have to try it out. Her staff is really nice also. She has plenty of customers but can surely use more so come stop by and tell her Malinda referred you!! :) I only give it a 4 because Nikki is the only one that does acrylic nails. Everyone else does regular mani and pedi. If she is busy with someone you would have to wait and sometimes it can be a while. Best to set an appointment if you want acrylic. read more

But every time I'm only told "no we don't have room today sorry" without following up with when they DO have time. Having to beg for an appointment at a slow salon is ridiculous. It feels rude. Due to Covid-19, I was a bit concerned about going back to the salon, but Nancy and Christine have alleviated all my concerns with the precautions they have implemented to ensure their safety and the safety of their customers. Here are some of the safety measures they have implemented: 1. They are operating by appointment only; 2. You must wait in your vehicle until they are ready to see you; 3. You must fill out a questionnaire related to Covid-19; 4. They will take your temperature once you walk in; 5. You must wear a mask; 6. They are wearing masks and face shields; 7. They are using plastic barriers separating your from the service provider; and 8. They are sanitizing all equipment before and after use! I'm new to Richardson so I was looking for a new nail tech and so far this place has been the best . Great customer service which for me is always one of the things I look for . My nail tech was friendly and I love my nails . I payed $35 dollars which is what most places charge . The only thing I wish they had are disposable plastic bags for the pedicure chair . It would make me feel more comfortable about sanitation . ( I didn't get a pedicure today but i noticed because there was a lady getting one and i didn't see a plastic bag being used ) . read more

They did a great job! They are meticulous about getting everything perfect. There are so many nail shops to choose from out there and I'm sure I've been to all of them at least once and Rose Nails is far above all of them. The shop is clean and comfortable, the staff is caring and super nice, their manicure and pedicure experience is like a relaxing spa day. I have gels done and they do it with precision perfection. This place is amazing. I would go before 3 pm or schedule an appointment because they get busy layer in the afternoon. Their nexgen selection is never ending. The guy that did my nails was so kind and the prices were average. 30 for nexgen no tips and 20 for classic pedicure. I would definitely recommend this place!! read more

I love coming here once a month to get a nexgen manicure. It's about 45-55 depending on what you get. I've worked with everyone in the shop and everyone is so kind and hard working and put in so much effort into your nails. Can't recommend enough! read more

Lilly did my nails and I don't know if she was just having an off day, but my nails looked horrible. It looked like I did my nails myself, her hands were shaking when she was putting the polish on... I honestly wanted to get up and leave mid mani, but thought I would suffer through it and go to Elegant Nails off of Firewheel to fix the mess after. I asked for a paint change with shellac and I left with paint all over my cuticles and my nails all different lengths. Will not be returning. read more

Wendy was good. Had a good mani pedi. Not excellent, because my polish chipped the next day, but she did a really good job shaping my nails and cuticles. She also did a good job with my pedi. She paid a lot of attention to sanitizing as she went. Overall, avoid alternative to the place that I used to go that had been sold. read more

This salon would have received three stars if they had turned the TV off and not been so unprofessionall. Compared to my visits to Q Nail, the manicurist did very little.I agreed to a special series of massages that turned out to be one minor towel wrapping. The manicurist cut a bit off of a cuticle and when I asked for some kind of anti-inflammatory cream, the manager was quite rude and difficult. This is a c grade place. read more

I got a pedicure here that was acceptable, but they totally destroyed manicure. The cuticle job was sloppy and when I pointed it out, the lady who did my nails poked and prodded five cuticles until they bled. It almost felt purposeful because she wanted to make the point that you can't remove cuticles without hurting me. Well, you can. I've been to better places. So, after my cuticles wouldn't stop bleeding even when I washed them, she offered a solution. I quickly realized she was putting superglue on my cuticles! It got on my fingers and nails. Yuck! I told her to stop so only two fingers got the superglue treatment. Finally, she began polishing on the clear coat even though my cuticles were still covered in superglue and globs of blood. At this point I told her enough and that I would clean it myself. I proceeded to use cotton and acetone to remove all the junk. Then I polished clear coat on my nails. After this she tried to get me to dry my nails. I told her I wasn't finished and would like the pale pink polish I chose. She insisted on doing it herself. This was my last and final mistake. It looked sloppy. I demanded my payment (which I had paid ahead of time) back with the tip. They tried to weasel out of it for about 5 minutes and then paid me in cash because they didn't know how to return credit. I highly recommend that you go down the street to Posh Nail Salon in Campbell, wait in line if they're busy (my mistake for being in a rush today), and pay the extra cost for properly done nails. I had made an appointment at Poshe Nails and when I went over I was asked to wait over an hour, because they had taken someone else by mistake. I went down the road some and dropped in and Wendy talked me into Gel Nails. She did such a professional job, I received a massage and they did my eyebrows. Not only did they give me the best gel nails I have ever seen, I have received many compliments and my hands look awesome! They take their jobs seriously and they have fun as well.
