Plenty of hamachi chunks with seaweed salad, avocado, and edamame beans. They have both regular hamachi and also the hamachi toro! The toro is about $18 for 6 or 7 pieces. So much cheaper than what you can get at restaurants. I wanted to do a make your own hand roll night at home and got a variety of sashimi, a small container of ginger and wasabi for $1 each, and a small container of tobiko for $2! Everything came out to about $80 and enough to feed 3 people. They have plenty of rice bowls, sushi rolls, and you can even order catering from them. And since they are a mini market, you can get a variety of Japanese snacks, drinks and ramen! Service is fast and the lady at the cashier is very nice and efficient.

It's a small shop, but it's great for grabbing sushi or sashimi to go. The selection can be a little limited depending on the day, and it is definitely on the pricier side for the portion sizes. That being said, the freshness, quality, and convenience keep me coming back. Service has always been friendly.

The clerk kindly told me "say hi to your dad" at the end of our exchange. The next day, I arrived with some friends who were from out of town. The store had one other customer that finished his purchase shortly after we arrived. After my friend made their sausage purchase, I went up to the same clerk from the day before and thanked him for picking out great sausages the day prior. He did not acknowledge my words, and told me "your friends are too loud." I did not fully comprehend his words, and he told me again "your friends are too loud." We were definitely a lively group, but not overly loud or disruptive. We all walked away a bit confused. I genuinely wanted to thank him for his help the day before but I'm not sure it was received. Seeing the other reviews which share his odd, and even racist and rude statements definitely tracks. TLDR: Yummy sausages but unreliable customer service from the clerk.

Firstly, it was my first time shopping at a co op and I really really really love that aspect of it. Anytime I can support a business like this, I want to! But beyond that, I was skeptical that the prices would be outrageous and was fairly surprised that they really weren't! Ok sure, some items were pricey, and that's true for any small store in this city, but for the bulk items and dry goods, the pricing was incredibly reasonable! I even found the same scones I buy at my local box box grocery store for cheaper here!! What?! I was also just blown away by the variety of choices.. they've got everything here.. produce, condiments, dry goods, chips, snacks, bulk items, tea, medicines and supplements, and a section of boutique handmade goods that was so awesome to look through!! I don't live close by but I will be back anytime I go to see my friend (which is often).

The food selection, presentation, and attention to detail reminded me of the cafés I enjoy back in Europe. The young woman who served my cappuccino welcomed me with a warm smile and was genuinely friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I came in for a coffee and left excited to return. The Vitamin C Salad was flavorful and a bit unique with its pistachio vinaigrette dressing. Fresh ingredients in all the food. My Margherita pizza was a rectangular 8 piece gem, with vivid tomato flavors and ample cheese. The crust was equally delicious and suited the pizza just right. I would definitely return to try some of the different other selections. This is a place worth navigating to.
