    Chicken cutlet
    Michele T.

Drove by several times, but didn't realize they have ready to made hot foods. We were in the area walking by and the scent of the food emanating from here is what caught my attention. We checked it out - quite a few hot items to choose from including desserts/sweets. The mushroom frittata was light but flavorful (about $5). The chicken cutlet ($14) was crispy and also flavorful - just wished there was a little more sauce. The price of both items were determined by weight. The person who helped us was friendly.

My favorite Acme bread! And a $3 pack of chocolate chip cookies (3)!!!

Walked into Apre Vous just to check it out, after purchasing sandwiches elsewhere. I was thrilled to find my favorite Acme Pan Epi bread and some chocolate chip cookies to bring home! Yummy!!!

We took away that chicken in the middle...

My daughter and I stopped by Apres Vous to take out some warm foods, which did not disappoint our palates. We ordered a juicy rotisserie chicken, stuffed portobello mushroom, salmon cakes, a pulled pork sandwich, signature chili and a drink. We enjoyed everything except for the chili, which tasted kinda sweet. They have a few tables to sit here now in this clean well-lit space. Service is warm and friendly. I was told they do catering as well.

Just across the street and up the block from Guerra Quality Meats (review: https://yelp.to/Fgco3N9gQy), this new corner market was a nice find I just happened upon while strolling on Taraval. Looking quite Parisian and feeling very spacious, it was a most inviting spot with quite a long display case of delicious-looking hot food. Perusal of the various platters was a pleasure. There was a refrigerated section and a separate room with a freezer and canned seafood. I wasn't planning to pick up dinner, but I caved into temptation. I bought a couple of meaty Italian Spare Ribs with cooked vegetables for $19.94 (photo: https://yelp.to/8qVKj1y7ia) as well as a hearty serving of Sautéed Seasonal Vegetables for just $4.49 (photo: https://yelp.to/8fMoDxURQh). I even got a disassembled $6.99 Iceberg Wedge Salad with ranch dressing and bacon bits (photo: https://yelp.to/KgRodlq8bY). I brought home quite a feast, and it was all nicely prepared and kept well. I don't live in the neighborhood, but it's definitely worthy of another visit should I need a convenient dinner to bring home and heat up. After all, I'm no Jacques Pepin. Always polite folks. Lovely food. I was there a little late and got lamb shank with potato soufflé for my husband. He was very pleased. I highly recommend their food.

The service here is amazing because the workers are congenial, smart, and appropriately attentive. The ambiance is chic and stylish, with tasteful colors and select products. I love their premade soups and desserts. A full great and healthy meal for many could be whipped up here in 5 minutes. Can't wait to come back!

Sea Bass with heirloom tomatoes, sauté with Olive Oil. Hearty and flavorful.

What is the price of a sandwich? There website lists items, but no prices. Strange

Harold, Thanks for reaching out. We currently offer the following sandwiches:…

What are the cost of hot items on the menu? Is it by the pound or by item?

Depends on the item. Some of the signs say "each" and some are by the pound.

The standing area next to the bar was also a cute spot to wait while our table was getting ready. Food-wise, we tried the crudo tasting while the other crudos were fine, they didn't stand out nearly as much as the scallop. The corn and mushroom pasta was very tasty, especially the sauce. We also tried the pesto pasta, which also had excellent texture, but the sauce tasted a bit more charred than I would have liked. Overall, I thought the atmosphere and dining experience were stronger than any individual dish. The communal seating and lively dining area gave the restaurant a great energy. I can see why this place is popular, and the tasting menu is a fun way to try a variety.

The experience began the moment we stepped into the restaurant in San Francisco, where she personally greeted and cared for her guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Bruschetta was the perfect appetizer, a delicious, soft bread and fresh flavors of tomato, garlic and basil. For the entrée, I highly recommend Luisa's famous gnocchi with pesto sauce. Unlike the typical flour-heavy gnocchi, these potato-based dumplings were incredibly light, tender, and practically melted in your mouth while pairing beautifully with the savory pesto. To finish, the Cannoli Alla Siciliana provided the perfect balance of crunch and sweetness, with a hint of chocolate chips. Every dish shows the passion and tradition behind Luisa's cooking, making for a truly memorable dining experience and reflecting the diversity of San Francisco!

The interior had simple decor and a swirl of little lights across ceiling. For drinks, we shared a bottle of Chianti, which was excellent. We also ordered a few appetizers for the table - Garlic Bread and Buratta. The Garlic Bread wasn't particularly memorable for me, but the Buratta was very tasty with the fresh pesto on top. I loved that most pasta dishes could be prepared with a choice of sauce, and ordered the Lobster Ravioli with Vodka Sauce. This was so tasty and surprisingly filling! My friends all enjoyed their dishes as well, including the Linguini Tuttomare, Penne Gorgonzola, and Chicken Parmigiana. Service was friendly and quick. Would happily return for more!

It's the perfect mix of a plant shop and wine bar, which gives it such a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Atmosphere The space has such a cool vibe with all the greenery, warm lighting, and eclectic décor. During the day, it feels like a beautiful plant shop where you can relax with a glass of wine, but at night it transforms into something completely different. I recently stopped by for a night visit and there was a DJ playing, and the whole place had such a fun, lively energy. It honestly didn't even feel like the same daytime spot, in the best way. Also, don't forget to check out the photo booth outside! It's such a fun little addition and adds to the overall Arcana experience and vibes. What I Ordered I've had both bottles of wine to share and wine by the glass here, and I've enjoyed both. Thankfully I was able to use the restroom without a fee, with my gear held up outside by the security team. While waiting in the restroom line, I told a staff member about all this, and the worker seemingly went up to the front to find out what's going on. The line took a few minutes, my friends also bumped into me, and I told them I'd likely wait for them outside the business post-restroom while they finished their wine.
