    kabanos - 1 pound
    Aileen L.

My friend brought my to Seakor Polish Deli, which I've seen a few times while walking through Richmond in the evening, but have never had a chance to visit (since it's usually too late at night to be open when I've been nearby). I've always been intruiged so I'm glad I finally got a chance to give it a try! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is filled with different sorts of sausages, polish candies and other pantry/staple goods on the walls, and the man worker the counter was very welcoming and helpful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He gave us each a slice of the wedding sausage to try, which was extremely flavorful and rich - I'll have to come back for these next time. The sausages and meats mostly seemed to be around 8-9 dollars a pound which is very reasonable considering how flavorful and tasty everything was - I left with some veal franks and some kabanos. The veal franks were so tender and delicate! But the kabanos - which my friend had described and "kind of like a slim jim" was amazing - salty but not as overwhelmingly salty as a slim jim, much larger and though dried not tough it leathery at all, it was full of smokey, black pepper flavor. You can smell how fragrant it is in the package! The kabanos made for an excellent road trip/post hike snack, with the salty, smokey goodness perfectly hitting the spot. I'll definitely be back to Seakor to try some different sausages in the future and highly recommend you come check it out too!

Well I haven't been here in a while been losing weight but kept pushing for a review so here we are.So I was in the neighborhood of course an I was lucky to find my favorite Jerry in his shop. Like I said before they have the best handmade sausages that I know of in town hands down. They have so many varieties hot polish , Ukrainian, knack wurst many others . The ham he serves is a natural ham which should be illegal it so delicious. They make their own sauerkraut and pickles too. Everything in the shop is good and fresh. The cheese he has many I've tried the Swiss style and the cheddar both fantastic. They have a polish salami roll smoked hard to get . Some many delicious delicacies it's dangerous. They also sell a homemade strudel and other deserts too . The owner Jerry is very personable and friendly also eager to explain all his products sometimes offers a taste. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place just has a warm atmosphere full of happy deliciousness.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The people all of them are really quite nice don't forget to try the bacon. I saw it and had to have it a very dangerous place for me

    Perfect and delicious smoked salmon.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Seakor is a great guy. His English is perfect and his store is warm and authentically Polish and European, as is he[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I was kind of too American and rushed when I came in and he gently with humor and great humility helped me transport my manners back to a pleasant non-rushed posture, and made me feel like I was part of the neighborhood and not the tourist I was. A customer before us ordered half a pound of Smoked Salmon that came out to .8 lbs. The customer insisted on only purchasing the half lb., and Seakor graciously obliged although it seemed like a trifle. We were there to get some Poppyseed Strudel Cake, but spontaneously decided to get the scrap of Smoked Salmon too. The next day we found ourselves in St. Helena at breakfast. We got a fresh bagel, cream cheese and fresh onion. I cut up Seakor's lox. Probably the best lox and bagel i have ever had!

Wow. Why have I never walked in? I've seen this place in forever! Grew up in Richmond and now in Sunset I decided to roll through for some meat to grill. VERY friendly staff that greeted us and let us try some of their homemade sausages. OMG it was all delicious! I'm going back as much as I can to have them recommend items for the grill. The blood sausage was fantastic! Spicy mustard paired well with it all. Highly recommend to help this local business. Prices are more than decent!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Sausages is what drew me to Seakor Polish Delicatessen in the outer Richmond on Geary Blvd, a welcoming quiet, Sun-lit, neighbor spot, Jerry and his helper greeting you warmly, offering deli meats, kielbasy, pierogies, golabki, cakes, and sweets.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Love the house cured sausages, pates and headcheese. As well as a nice selection of Polish pantry items and sweets not easily found. They also offer a daily hot dish of the day to go of maybe, sausage, bigo, pierogies, so check that out. But I was there for the sausages. There's a nice selection of Polish, Summer, Garlic, Blood sausages. All cooked. You want to try everything! You can nuke or airfry the sausage in a hurry or if you can wait, panfry lightly with onions and peppers, or take it to the park, slice it, eat it with mustard and fresh bread for a quick meal or snack. WARNING: order more than you expect, as you're slicing the links it somehow finds its way to your mouth v. the plate to share. Slightly embarrassed that it happened on the Summer sausage, I quietly ate the rest of it and pretended all the sausages we bought was plattered...lol SAUSAGES: POLISH - lightly smoked and not overly spicy. I used this in a sausage stew (carrots, celery, onions, seasonings, butter. Yes BUTTER!) that I make for cold days. The sausage was drier than expected but flavorful nonetheless. GARLIC - what more can said...GARLIC Sausage! SUMMER - mild in seasoning and very, very easy to eat. HEADCHEESE: TRADITIONAL HEADCHEESE - I opted for this over the very popular TONGUE HEADCHEESE. I was not disappointed. Think headcheese, full of porky everything and yummy collagen goodness is one of my favor foods. Eat it sliced alone or slather on some mustard of choice, pickles, fresh bread. Yum! Will be back for more sausages, headcheese, and to try the VEAL LOAF, PATES, house pickles, sour cherry jam, POPPYSEED CAKE.

Are they adding price tags to their items and price per pound on their sausages yet? Are the expiration dates of their packaged items visible or stamped?

The prices for meat products are listed on a board behind the service area. There are no expiration dates on items made in-house, just as there are none on items in any deli that prepares food on site. Everything is so delicious whatever we get…

Have been here twice and will be back to eat everything else they have haha. Very punk shop. Tiny little space with a cute parklet in front. The workers are very helpful and knowledgeable on their products. Want to come here for more food, grab a bottle of wine next door, and enjoy the night with a friend. I won't say much about the food, just that there is a reason I want to come back for more. Fresh, delicious ingredients. Carefully thought out and brought together for great combinations. Truly curated experience is how I would put it. I really like this shop.

Came here right at 11:30 AM on a Sunday to get their Brunch Focaccia. The shop is filled with…read moreshelves of unique produce and dry goods, giving a sense of wonder and cozy intrigue. I loved seeing all the other goods they had for sale; though they were pricey, the curation seemed very special and done with love and care. There's some seating outside on benches or the patio deck, and the employees were very friendly and easygoing. The day I went, the brunch focaccia was an artichokes, salsa verde, sundried tomatoes, red onion, arugula, and pepper jack focaccia that day, and it was delicious! they grill it fresh in front of you (takes about 5 minutes), and I'd recommend eating it as soon as possible for the best experience. The focaccia is so light and airy with the crispy crust, and their ingredients are so high quality with a symphony of flavors. Would definitely come back again for this, maybe to also try their paninis!
