So I was finally starting to feel better and now I want another Xanax. Customers were cool and liked I could smoke inside, but that was about it. Also, as a bartender as well I hope this adds some validity.

For 4 years in a row I have taken part of their St Patrick's day corned beef and cabbage. Always like this place. Always recommended. This time.... different story. At the end of my meal. I went to the bathroom. On the way out I asked a male server where the toothpicks were. No response. No eye contact. Nothing. I got closer and asked again. Same thing. Wtf? Saw my waitress on the way out. Asked for a toothpick. Got 2 of them within 10 seconds of asking. Awesome! The waiter came out to serve the table next to me. I asked him for his name . "F you" was the response. My wife didn't want me to address the insult. She got up and asked for the managers The "owner" came out. Long story short. I asked for an apology. I was told no. I was also told by the owner that because he had been working since 6:30 that I should be more considerate. I'm sorry? I didn't pay for dinner to be dumped upon by a staff member who can't point out where the toothpicks are. Choose your battles? F the owner. F the waiter . As a local, this is the Last time I come to this dung heap. To my waitress and the head waitress who saw and experienced the whole thing and tried to resolve it professionally. Thank you. To start this off I need to mention that every place my husband and I travel to, we ALWAYS have to get the cities "best wings". So, per tradition, I search all of the social media platforms to find THE BEST WINGS that St. Augustine has to offer. And man...the social media God's did not disappoint! These wings are BY FAR the BEST wings that we have EVER had (and we have been all over the WORLD). They aren't your traditional wings, they are HUGE with the drum and flap connected. The guys in the kitchen seriously know what they are doing when it comes to preparing these delicious pieces of chicken! Perfectly juicy. Perfectly fried. The sauces are to die for which was the icing on the cake. I decided to mix sauces and get the hot-garlic-parm. My husband got the hot-BBQ. Both equally amazing. I love that the parmesan was actual shaved parmesan cheese. Not the powdery stuff from that green plastic shaker. I ALWAYS take pictures of my food (I know, I am one of 'those' girls...) but once the wings hit the table...I went to town. Completely forgot to take my picture...and for that, I am sorry! The other issue was the food itself. Thankfully everything came out really hot and pretty fast, but it was just super mediocre. The shepherd's pie was a bit lackluster and my husband said it was not seasoned/kind of tasteless. I'm sure it's just because of the busyness, but still disappointing. The party outside seemed super fun and everyone who was just drinking and standing for the music were happy. I would give it another chance, but absolutely not on a holiday adventure.
