On the day of purchase the salesman was super nice and patient with me explaining all the different vapes and making suggestions etc. I was very pleased when I left. Got home, loved the vape, then the next day it wasn't working. Super disappointed. Called back the salesman and he suggested I call the owner who then asked me to come in so he could fix it. When I arrived he was very apologetic and more than made up for the incident. He even took time to make sure I understood how to use my new vape. I'm very pleased with this establishment and I'm a complainer but no complaints here.

As a kid (early to mid 80's) I remember "Dan" and I used to always come in for candy and their nice magazine selection. I'm not sure when "Dan" sold the business off as I didn't come in for a good decade for school and work reasons, but I never even knew ownership changed hands until I noticed a different staff and look inside. The new owners kept pretty much everything (even the name and original awning), but inside now looks more spacious and cleaner than what it used to be. There's a lot of little things inside such as your basic small hygiene products, snacks, cards, cigarettes, candy, and still a decent enough magazine selection. They sell metro cards here and have the lottery business. Owners and employees have always been friendly to me. Parking is not good, as Yonkers Avenue is metered and this is a busy area. There are a lot of double parkers as well. Local street parking is much harder now due to the Casino patrons parking on the blocks causing residents to have to use permits on their own streets now. There is a municipal parking lot a block away. Great for locals however. While there are competitors within walking distance, I still come here if need be due to reliability and convenience. So many businesses have come and gone over the years, but it's nice to see a familiar location still standing - even if it's no longer the same owner.

Another plus is being able to bring your own alcohol....they do charge a $10 "corkage" fee whether it's a bottle or a yeti tumbler full of bourbon....still, $10 is a lot less that you would spend elsewhere. I needed supplies, and really didn't want to travel that far, with gas being what it is these days, so I went to Yelp for help and they came through! Jessie is a very nice guy that understands Customer Service, and he gave me great advice. The place is clean, nicely organized, and well stocked. In the end, I give this place a 10 out of 10, and I'll definitely be back. In fact, I have to come back, I was $4 short, and Jessie let me owe it to him on my first visit!
