It was my first time visiting the place. I felt like I was in a candy store, the selection was huge, consisting of many brands and sizes. I didn't get much assistance from one of the employees but I was able to select a few cigars, Arturo Fuentes, Romeo & Julieta and Monte Cristo, as a gift for a priest. I don't smoke but my boys dragged me to this cigar warehouse so they can smoke a few cigs in the spacious lounge area and yak it up and I am glad I did as this joint is cool . The front area is where they sell a variety of smoking products which you can take and hit the road or chill out in the lounge with the TVs and wifi available. I wanted to be a good friend so I let my cuz pick a small cigar with fruit flavor and low on the tobacco so I can fit in . I was prepared to be choked with all the smoke in the air but to be honest , not any real smell of cigars as they must have a really good air purifier working the room . I looked like an idiot with this cig in my mouth but to be honest I look like an idiot even without a cig in my pie hole .maybe not my cup of tea overall but I wouldn't mind coming back to the cigar warehouse on central Ave in Scarsdale with my boys to relax and chomp on a good cigar while talking it up . 4 stars on my yelp meter. read more

I'm in White Plains on business, and I can't express how happy I am to have found this lounge. First let me say the humidor is one of the most impressive ones I've seen....very well stocked, and a good selection of hard-to-find sticks. I'm from Miami, and usually our shops immediately sell out of everything that's worth smoking, these guys have it all. The Lounge is massive!! Very impressive and has everything you are looking for in a relaxing atmosphere.....dark, rich leather seats, wood floors and walls, good air flow, and plenty of TVs. Another plus is being able to bring your own alcohol....they do charge a $10 "corkage" fee whether it's a bottle or a yeti tumbler full of bourbon....still, $10 is a lot less that you would spend elsewhere. Visited a few times and was never told about being added to an email list, nor was I ever informed about a rewards program, nor about any upcoming cigar events. Walked in today and they must've had an event a few hours earlier because tons of empty food trays were in the trash and the lounge was about 80% empty and the owner has the audacity to say in order to sit down and enjoy a cigar, I need to purchase five, and if not, I'm not allowed to sit in the lounge. I informed him I wasn't aware and had just left from Manhattan to enjoy a few cigars there and this guy had no respect for the business I'd given him previously. I told him I was unaware and he let me know it didn't matter. If I don't purchase 5 cigars, I'd have to leave. I let him know in advance I'd be giving him a negative review and he actually said "thank you". I think it's disgusting when a business owner is rude like this because it lets you know how they really feel about you, but after you've been spending your money. A few employees were standing behind the counter looking embarrassed by the dialog I was having, knowing they had just seen me there a few days ago spending my money there. There are other lounges a few miles away on the same street so it's no biggie, but for this lounge to have cigars priced so Exorbitantly high, you would think they'd care about every person who walks in the door. read more

This place has recently been remodeled and maybe expanded. I'm not sure what's on the side of the store that was the old location. I am pretty picky about what I smoke...I don't smoke cigars often enough to worry about what I spend on a single cigar. I stopped here rather than my close to home option because of the timing involved in shopping and getting to work on time. They have a large selection and a great variety of my favorite brand. I will say that the staff is more disinterested rather than rude, but I don't need help to pick my cigars. Mom's Cigars is unbelievable. Not only do that have the best cigar selection in Westchester, but they have an incredible lounge in the back of the store. Getting a cigar and being able to relax and smoke it in the back is a divine experience. The lounge has huge TVs and about 20 extremely comfortable chairs. You really sink into them and can just relax. There is an espresso machine and a bathroom, so there's no need to go anywhere else. They also sell many drinks; water, Snapple, sodas, and more. This is a huge shop that doesn't feel like a cigar shop. It literally has a warehouse feel. I'm sure they have measures in place to maintain humidity and what not, but the cigars are not stored in a proper humidor. I came here recently to purchase a very rare lighter that they just so happened to have in stock. The gentleman behind the counter was very eager to help and took his time to show me the different types of flames(I lost my Xikar Trezo and wanted an "upgrade"). Great cigar lounge! Amazing staff and very knowledgeable.. Excellent cigar variety prices are very good. You can bring your own liquor and they also sell sodas, water, coffee etc.. They have a nice lounge and right now they're finishing up the remodeling and expansion of the lounge. They have plenty of tvs and the people that go there are very welcoming and polite! And to top it off they have the best hostess ever. She is so attentive, friendly,respectful and always makes you feel welcomed..! Chill lounge, unpretentious cigar shop with a great selection. Have never had difficulty getting anything I wanted there and also introduced to some new favorites. The Opus X, Padron Anniversary and Davidoff selections are second to none. The lounge is nice and occupied by some really welcoming and friendly people. I would probably give less than one star if I could. I went there hoping to purchase a few cigars as gift for my boss. I explained that I have no knowledge of cigars and that my boss is only an occasional smoker, gave the price range I was looking for, and asked for some suggestions, etc. The person behind the register grabbed one that was out of my range and said "this one is good" before walking back to the register. I asked if he had any other suggestions and if he could tell me a little more about them. He pointed to the general area where he had grabbed the first one from and said "those are all good". Needless to say, I walked out empty handed and pissed that I drove there. What a complete waste of time. read more

I've ordered from this company for about 3 years now and most orders have gone fairly smooth, with the exception of the timing of when you pay for an order until it's shipped. Regardless of how you want the items shipped, it takes them at least one additional day for them to get them out. Well, I had a problem once before about a year ago when I paid for the items to be shipped out 2-day, and didn't receive them for 6 days. When I spoke to someone about this, they were very rude and refused to give me a credit or accomodate me as a long-term customer by adjusting the price of what I paid for shipping. Well, again I have the same issue. I ordered cigars early Monday [6/27/11 @ 9:32am] and paid for 2-day shipping. Today is Thursday [6/30/11] and as it did not arrive, I called them and they told me the items didn't get shipped until Wed [6/29/11]. The woman I spoke to tracked the item and said it should arrive tomorrow [7/1/11] and absolutely refused to accomodate their obvious error. This treatment is horrible and I'm taking my business elsewhere. I would suggest all that read this do the same. They need a lesson in customer service to retain loyal customers. Rich read more

I did some research online before heading down from Connecticut to make sure they had what I was looking for. It was worth the trip, the guys were so helpful and friendly, they assisted me with picking out a nice gift, within my budget. I might have been able to save a few bucks ordering online but I needed their expertise to create a unique gift assortment so the price I paid was reasonable and worth it. Plus I had my gift in hand without paying for shipping. So comparing this shop to online vendors isn't really fair.
